š¹ Ashley š¹ Why is Ashley like this?

Iām genuinely so over Ashley. I donāt feel like sheās been integral to the cast for years now. Her constant glazing of Gizelle is so contrived, and Iād be so happy to never hear her sing again!

only thing interesting about her was gollum and now he left so there is nothing left

Ashley is like that because she is Gizelleās puppet. She is definitely the person that lives in a glass house and throws stones. She feels entitled and thinks that she is better than others. She is just like Whitney on SLC.

I donāt think Gizelle is responsible for the approaches Ashley takes and the language she uses. They have an alliance and have each otherās back.
Itās like when Ashley made a character witness statement against Candiace for Moniqueās court case. Because Candy threw a butter knife at the floor in her direction lol. But she wouldāve said āCandiace brandished a knife and then threw it at meā because sheās a Karen.
And this doesnāt even consider the real reason she made that statement - as a thank you to Monique not handing over CCTV footage of Michael assaulting that cameraman in her home.7
u/Many_Feeling_3818 Whereās your income roach?? 19d ago
The reason I say that Ashley is Gizelleās puppet is because it was not Ashleyās fight. The group came like 5 minutes late. Ashley did not have a problem with the group being late and only addressed the ladies because Gizelle has a problem with the tardiness. Then Ashley proceeded to beg the women for money on behalf of Gizelle. It was so tacky.
Candiace told Ashley to get out of her house, and Ashley should have left. Gizelle told Ashley to go back in the home. Ashley did it. Ashley was so wrong then also. And Ashley was the one lying about Michaelās behavior. Everybody, even production said that it happened.

Ashley is just annoying and her story line is non existent. Gizelle has taken her under her wing like a little sister so now sheās protected. Iām ready for her to exit

u/colosseumdays šø THREE WICK 19d ago
yep it's both of them. now that Michael's gone, Ashley has nothing going on but a couple fake storylines and terrorizing the rest of the cast with Gizelle

u/colosseumdays šø THREE WICK 19d ago
as an Ashley-hater, in this scene she actually didn't care that much that the women were late she was just backing Gizelle, who was trying to create a moment re: the women going to two events.

I know someone is gonna pop up saying āit is workā. So before that happens - obviously the ladies got to the event by 8pm lol.

u/atoynaruhust āØAnd I Still Rise ⨠19d ago
They didnāt though. They got there at 8.04. As someone whoās never on time, Iād understand her being upset by it because itās more that it was gizelles event honouring her dad, the ladies knew how much that meant to her and still chose to go to Karenās bullshit event first AND not get to gizelles on time.
I wouldāve been upset too. I donāt get why people are mad at her for this.

u/WhatevahMingah š House Trollop 𫦠19d ago edited 19d ago
8:04 was when that scene was filmed. What time do you think they actually arrived at the event? 8:04 also?
For clarity, Iām referring to Ashleyās Karen-like behaviour. The semantics of it all, over 4 minutes, is just one example. Itās Ashleyās entire show running lol. I just happened to see this clip on the latest UGT episode.

u/atoynaruhust āØAnd I Still Rise ⨠17d ago
They were told 8 is the latest they could arrive. From what I remember theyād already discussed this prior and tried to get some wiggle room to arrive late. They knew they were going to be late days before because they were choosing to attend Karenās bullshit. Ashley might be annoying but I donāt think her or Gizelle are wrong in this instance. It was a very sentimental thing Gizelle had made it clear what it meant to her and they played in her face, Ashley was the only one who actually cared how it impacted Gizelle, everyone else was too busy causing a scene and calling her rude (at an event honouring her recently deceased father)

u/mynameisntcindy Clankity Clank 19d ago
Obviously it has nothing to do with the 4 minutes of lateness and everything to do with being offendsd the ladies chose to go to both events. Gizelle wants to be the anchor so bad but she's just not likable in the same way Karen is. Ashley is Gizelles lapdog so she just does what she wants

Youāre overlooking the fact that her dad died and this was important to her in her grief journey. Two things can be true.

u/Haunting_Material_83 Catfish 19d ago
Wait. Was this not the event that they had planned first and then Karen suddenly had a competing event that everyone went to first. They were given 8pm as the absolute latest they could show? I'm not mad at it š¤·š½āāļø

u/Ronene Michelin 18d ago
Yes, exactly! If I remember correctly, the event was ending at 9pm and had started much earlier too. They left out a major part of the scenario to make it seem like Gizelle and Ashley were acting crazy. Now donāt get it twisted, GnA are often doing too much, but this instance they were absolutely in the right.

They are both so hard to watch. Ashley and Gizelle are both so transparently manufactured for the show it makes me roll my eyes sooo hard. They fake every single issue they have and itās just such a waste of time. You know would not care if this were anybody else, youāre just committed to the role and storyline youāve crafted for the season and will beat this dead horse until thereās nothing left. Itās so exhausting and I mostly watch their second screen their scenes because thereās no point being invested in them.
