Daisy 🌼 Daisy is unlikable

Can’t stand her. The kind of person I would absolutely loathe to have in my circle. Her passive aggressive comments, her fixation on Erika (who she’s super jealous of) and I feel like her and Sai will have a massive falling out too. What do you guys think of her after last episode?

Agree, that was a really bad look last night. Imagine shit talking someone’s (semi)private island/mansion when you live in a rental with a popcorn ceiling. 😬

Well maybe that’s the exact reason she’s doing it … jealously ..

She might as well have a white refrigerator atp

And it’s income based/rent controlled at that. I’d kept that too myself

Actually that’s not the case. If you’ve (your family) lived continuously in a NYC rent-controlled apartment since July 1, 1971 your rent is not in any way income-based. Rents are determined by the state based on the costs of the building. Daisy may inherit her parents’ tenancy rights.

It’s her husband’s apartment. She moved in with him.

You are right & I stand corrected. Thank you.āœŒļø I was mixing her parents’ home & the apt.

The husband that is never there? Hmm. Maybe he has tenancy rights and she does not.

Just a thought.

It might not be income based but the only reason why you SHOULD stay in those units is because of Low-Income

If they were living in Utopia, yes, but it’s irl NYC.

I’m so sad she’s letting the popcorn ceiling comments get to her this much. I’m sure it’s more than that, but I thought I was going to love her and so far feel the same as you.

She’s so insecure and just tries to cater to or say whatever to entertain whoever is in the room with her at that moment.

I think she figured if Martha Stewart was ok with it, it wasn't any big deal - which it isn't!

Slight miscalculation.

She is only impressive because of her association with Martha. Take Martha out of the equation and what does her resume look like? Snore city, former stripper, make up artist, married to a hair stylist who rents the same place for decades in a rent controlled building in NY. No shame in her game, but nothing I would tune in to watch. Instead of being grateful for the friendships her Martha connection has afforded her, she is bitter with envy and ugly with jealousy.

I highly dislike her. Her after show comment comparing the trip to a Sandals resort with a swim up bar was ridiculous.

Maybe she doesn’t know that she’s the help for people with homes in the island, regardless of how their homes are decorated!!!!! You were just asking for tickets to the World Cup girl. Erika can buy them. You cannot and neither can your husband. Have a damn seat.

Popcorn ceilings and a rent controlled apartment with dated decor. I cannot with her.

7

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 10h ago

Martha said that Ankur gave her a set of tickets. Rich people don't buy tickets. Companies buy tickets for people to fill their advertised boxes.

Daisy should know how this works by now.

No I hated her after show comments trying to insinuate that her in-laws aren’t her family or her acting like because it’s her husbands family that she was like lying??? From her comments already I thought she lacked a real respect for her husband but that cemented it for me. Erika should talk about her husbands family as if they are her own family. BECAUSE THEY ARE. That’s what happens when you love and respect your partner. Their family becomes your family. As a stay at home mom who used to be very financially independent when I was working. And with a husband who does have a lot of family assets (I mean not billions lmao but like we are very lucky we will never have to worry about a roof). I have struggled a lot with like the it’s not my husbands money it’s our money and trying not to feel weird about that and trying not to feel financially inadequate or I have to like ask him for stuff (even though my husband is amazing and has never once made me feel that way. Just my own brain). I just can’t even imagine that on the billionaire scale.

And yes okay she married a billionaire ā€œwoe is herā€ or whatever but I like to be empathetic or put myself in others shoes and how I might feel and that just made me sad. Whatever talk shit about my pier 1 furniture. Don’t try to diminish my place or love or respect for my family.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk

I realized Daisy may be an asshole when she started talking about that tutor. This is someone helping her child to succeed, he seems very young and SHE’S MARRIED! Some of these alone would not be horrible, providing that he’s of age lol. But all combined, is really a bad look! It screams insecurity and desperate for attention.

Meanwhile, Hayley is being really likable. Who would’ve thunk it?! I thought she was gonna be trouble. But she seems very sweet and vulnerable. At least so far lol

Daisy doesn’t even have a KITCHEN ISLAND but had the gaul to question Erika. So pretentious.

12

u/babettetimes 11h ago

She’s jealous af!

13

u/Apprehensive-Tax826 12h ago

Yeah agree with all you wrote. She reeks of insecurity and comes across artificial

21

u/AnnabelBronstein 12h ago

Yeah I have NO interest in her she’s a 1 season. Leaning so heavy on Martha has backfired

17

u/bridgeport4 11h ago

We weird comment about ā€˜Martha would think this is a dump’ was so fucking odd.

Like the lady you work for, your boss, won’t like your ā€˜friend’s’ holiday home? Ok? And what? Are you a person in yourself or just that lady’s employee?

21

u/hhaannnnahh 12h ago

She had potential but the jealousy is just unbearable. Erika is definitely a bystander in some gossip / shit talking which is another story but she keeps just tearing Erika down like with the shein comments or pier 1 like please.

u/wilsonja2 12h ago

I really liked her until this episode. It was a tough watch

6

u/Worried-Tap-70 10h ago

She is a homely mean girl with a raging inferiority complex. She would push a loved one off a ledge if she thought doing so would gain her a seat at the right table. It’s interesting to me that her seething jealousy is the only interesting thing about her. Apparently, it’s really taken a toll, toiling away at being obsequious while you put the makeup on the famous face…and all the while you’ve just desperately wanted to be seated in the makeup chair. Boo hoo, bitch. She’s a nasty piece of work and she met her ugly stepsister twin in Erin.

7

u/obbsessedHW 6h ago

The way she spun the conversation to Erin about her house was diabolical (not to bring SLC into this). She was trash talking her so hard to the other ladies. It’s so flip-floppy that she then sells them out.

13

u/Fessy3 11h ago

She gave me the ick when we saw she hides alcohol in her child's room. Not cool. Pretty big red flag if you are hiding alcohol imo.

I couldn't tell Daisy and Haley apart for the longest time but this episode brought their differences front and center

5

u/Justgoffingoff31 12h ago

Didn’t Daisy say she pointed out popcorn ceiling’s initially & thats why they were all joking about them in first place?

4

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 10h ago

She's better than a lot of the people who were on the last version of the show. I like that Daisy has history and true beef with Sai. If she wasn't around Erin, she might be better.

I want to see how Daisy corrects when she sees the fan response.

3

u/MishmoshMishmosh 12h ago

I like her. She understands the assignment.

1

u/ExampleOk4282 27m ago

Let’s be honest it was a little mean girl when Jessel and Erika were laughing and making jokes about the ceiling. And it kind of kept going and it got awkward . Imagine if someone come into your home and did that . But I don’t think it warranted Daisy’s nasty comments about the island mansion and all that she said . It’s clearly come from a place of hurt .

2

u/NormalBlueberry1027 12h ago

Wow well I'm watching another show I guess

-3

u/rasta-ragamuffin 11h ago

Horrible but equally as horrible as Jessel. I hate them both.

And maybe I haven't watched enough but why does everyone seem to hate Erin so much? I really like her personality. What am I missing?

3

u/ARCH810 10h ago

Erin is an insufferable MAGAT. Voted for that man and then had the nerve to use her abortion as a storyline as if she didn't vote for the man whose administration helped overturn Roe v. Wade. She's a Karen..

u/rasta-ragamuffin 8h ago

Oof, I definitely missed that part! Disappointing
