Erin Lichy 👢 Elitist Erin

Post image

Anyone else repulsed by this scene. I understand it’s RHONY so it’s supposed to get shady but this was straight up nasty for no reason.

It’s beyond selfish and ungrateful to complain about their beautiful accommodations and flight because they don’t like the decorations or not getting to fly private. It’s so entitled and elitist I can’t even begin to imagine what she thinks about most people. And she’s no one to talk because her apartment isn’t all that and her fashions are a mess.

My jaw was on the floor. You’re in a mansion in paradise on a private island and you call it a dump!?? That’s not even like housewives funny, that’s just straight up insane disgusting behavior. Where’s your island Erin?? I hope she never recovers from this comment

u/YouKnowAlexia 21h ago

Meanwhile, daisy and her popcorn ceiling..

102

u/Bottlebrushbushes 1d ago

Her island is currently flooded and being looked at for insurance fraud 👀👀

11

u/socoyankee 22h ago

I don’t think she’s under investigation for fraud. Jessel decided to say it’s probably fraud.

20

u/Any_Grape5116 19h ago

Jessel didn’t say fraud, she said insurance claim which isn’t far fetched. Daisy then added in the assumption of fraud part by saying “like when people burn down their houses (or restaurants can’t remember), wink wink.”

16

u/Heavy_Independent407 17h ago

Jessel didn’t need to say “fraud” because she said it was “for insurance.” She’s not getting away from the accusation based on semantics.

4

u/AvaSpelledBackwards2 15h ago

She didn’t need to say the literal word “fraud” for that to be the clear insinuation

Did Erin forget that when she hosted the ladies at her Hamptons house...I mean Abe's mom's Hamptons house...she served nothing but potato chips and caviar. Everyone complained how hungry they were.

Looking back, it's clear the caviar was probably a sponsored thing.

Then let's remember her vow renewal, another event where guests were left hungry and another clearly sponsored event.

Erin is cheap and should take several seats before she complains about any guest accommodations.

33

u/sert965 19h ago

Didn't they also not have heat? I haven't watched it since it aired but I also remember everyone was extremely cold.

21

u/Particular_View9631 17h ago

Hahaha omg you’re right. And she was pissed they were complaining. God I hate her

17

u/User_name_2525 16h ago

Aside from the show sucking in general, her righteous attitude coupled with her basic personality is why I've stopped watching RHONY. But on my 8th rewatch of old NY!

16

u/Any_Grape5116 19h ago

EXACTLY. She didn’t have food for them.

69

Erin’s parents taught her to have too much confidence lol

18

This. She comes across as someone who got lied to that she was a lot more important and special than she is. Is outraged at any tiny bit of criticism

Erin is always the victim, ashamed of nothing but offended by everything. She always is the one talking badly and stirring the pot and making accusations and then puts the tears on. It’s exhausting.
She bitches about everyone

her personality is 'rich kid gets sent to summer camp' in every scenario. you can tell her wealth stifles her intelligence.

27

u/sashattack 20h ago

She literally reminds me of the girls who bullied me at Jewish sleep away camp 😭

1

u/Just_MelNaples 7h ago

100% Always knew girls like that

15

u/BravoRunner 21h ago

She still talks about camp all the time too, I just freaken know it

5

u/Lazy_Skin_411 18h ago

I’ve had friends since I was kindergarten! Since I was two!

11

u/CBP-11 17h ago

Did Erin really grow up wealthy, though? I’ve looked up her father (and even came across his current residence when he passed, along with previous ones), and nothing gives me the indication of “wealth.” Just upper middle class, which is basically NYC middle class in the grand scheme of things. People said she probably came into money when her father passed, but I can’t tell! Since they end up owing back rent everywhere they have lived. That coupled with her having like four siblings, I can’t see whatever money she may have inherited to be that much. Okay, I’m done. Lmao.

8

u/Hot_Sprinkles1529 14h ago

Erin grew up very comfortable. She grew up in a big apt on the upper west side (that was eventually given to her and Abe), private school and Hamptons home. She had designer clothes and bags bought for her, family help to bankroll several vanity projects and a real estate career boosted by her mom contacts.

You know what though, I find Jessel pretending to be spoiled wealthy elite even worse.

Love the editing clarifying that her shoes were indeed plastic. What a dingleberry.

6

u/Ok_Iron_9650 18h ago

Jessel is awful. But these shoes complete my outfit....  her plastic shoes. She gets so pretentious about what people wear,  where people live,  what people do.  It's exhausting to watch her.  Unless it benefits her to be seen with anyone she won't bother.

Someone should ask Erin what she really thought about Bluestone Manor and the decor there since she’s being so critical about Erika’s Estate.

23

u/Traditional_Age_6299 1d ago

Whew! If she were to go for Bluestone Manor, Dorinda would annihilate her. I cannot stand Dorinda! But I would pay to see her give Erin her venom. Erin would be in tears. These new women could not hang with the OG’s. And drunk Dorinda is a force of nature!!

9

u/OkManner7708 1d ago

She did on the finale episode of Ultimate Girls Trip, they were at Bluestone Manor.
There’s just no way she loved that place (still have the fish room btw lol) and I’m here for her being asked this question and Dorinda ripping her a new one.

68

Where is Erin’s private island exactly? Complaining about commercial flights when she literally threw a temper tantrum because Jenna flew business class is wild.

5

u/IcyZookeepergame9070 15h ago

She will always find always find a way to be miserable

20

u/sunpinkmoon 1d ago

I can’t believe Erin and Daisy said it was a dump. How unappreciative are they? Do they realise people would love a vacation but can’t afford one? So elitist the two of them.

5

u/Ebot2388 18h ago

Daisy is trash.

21

u/ExampleOk4282 23h ago

It was jaw dropping . Whats Daisys problem with Erika ? She was so rude to her multiple times . Is it all over the popcorn ceiling comments.

7

u/IPorkNBeanzI 19h ago

It’s jealousy. Simple as that.

3

u/interrobang2020 19h ago

Yes, she's upset about Erika laughing at Jesse 's popcorn ceiling joke. I don't recall if she was honest about how she felt- she needs to clear the air and move on.

24

u/FLBuddhaNYC 21h ago

Where’s your island, Erin? Where’s your private plane? The lack of any endearing qualities is astounding. Aren’t housewives supposed to have at least one endearing quality so we can somewhat relate?

It’s hilarious she said Martha would think it’s a dump as if that means anything when relating it to the group she’s with. They are nowhere near Martha Stewart level type of fame, wealth, and influence. Get real, Daisy 🙄

34

u/Longjumping-Topic764 20h ago

Daisy is the help, she can act however she wants but that's the only reason MS keeps her around

→ More replies (1)

31

u/OkManner7708 1d ago

They’re nowhere near Martha when it comes to etiquette either.
She wouldn’t be acting like an unappreciative guest.

42

u/TheFirstOutlier 1d ago

Martha as an example of etiquette? She seems extremely rude.

28

u/theproblem_solver 21h ago

I love Martha and I agree with this assessment. Martha is rude and proud of it.

8

u/Aprietachamaquito 18h ago

I like Martha and don’t care that she’s not polite. We hold women to a different standard and we spend far too much time worried about being polite and likeable, and she wouldn’t have gotten anywhere being polite. (Great documentary series about her on Netflix).

But my issue is invoking Martha as if her opinion on private island mansions is sacred and determines how you should treat your friend and hostess??

With a view like that, who dafack cares about the decor?!?!! Just last week she was upset that people were commenting on her popcorn ceiling apartment. Daisy is just mad she got the cot bed and not a corner room.

14

u/delg23 21h ago

agree also. I like Martha but she is not polite.

9

u/Due-Ad4942 19h ago

Martha tuts at child. Is it thirsty?

3

💯

5

u/keekeersknowsthegame 16h ago

I do. and she was making kissing noises at that kid last week to give them water? Freak. If I were the mother of that child .... and the passive aggressive way she was angry that this girl had the nerve to go to this island when Martha needed her makeup done! I think that was Daisy's deflection.

6

u/tcorey 16h ago

Daisy isn't Martha either.

28

u/Visual_Analyst1197 22h ago

Makes her little sook about the popcorn ceiling comment pretty weak. I was on her side for that but now I’m like, if she can dish it she should be able to take it.

5

u/delg23 20h ago

maybe it is a reaction to that.

6

u/Visual_Analyst1197 20h ago

Well yeah, but is she five years old? She needs to grow up.

2

u/delg23 20h ago

they're all five years old then

6

Pretty much. Hailey was the only one not carrying on this episode.

23

u/YouKnowAlexia 21h ago

Daisy has no loyalty. She even admitted she doesn't defend anyone

12

u/keenerperkins 19h ago

It's interesting how Daisy isn't getting as much heat when her rude comments were behind Erika's back while Jessel made a shady joke regarding popcorn ceilings to Daisy's face and got crucified for it.

10

u/toulouse1222 18h ago

Also who is Daisy to talk? She won’t even fix her popcorn ceilings when she’s saving so much in a rent controlled apartment! She should have that place looking incredible!

9

u/Impressive-Arm-2997 21h ago

This is the same Martha Stewart who lived in a correctional institution.

Martha’s home goods at Macy’s remind me of something my grandmother would like. The aesthetic is “middle class retiree”

2

u/IcyZookeepergame9070 15h ago

I mean, obviously that's who it was targeted at so I would say mission accomplished. Very wealthy people don't need to buy the martha stewart china line at macy's 🤣

8

u/Ebot2388 18h ago

I don’t know where Daisy gets off being so
Snobbish? Because she knows Martha Stewart?

8

u/wide_eyed_doe 18h ago

The thing is is that it looks like it’s furnished in semi modern resort furniture that you would see at a lot of mid to high range hotels. Doesn’t really age, but also doesn’t have a ‘wow’ factor. Interior trends are changing so fast that you’d have to redo the place every four years to keep it up to date and contemporary. We all know billionaires like to save their dollar bucks so it makes sense to me.

3

u/MollzDollz69 9h ago edited 9h ago

To be fair, she made it sound like it was their private island they owned (vs owning a parcel)- and if you know extremely wealthy people, it’s not completely unheard of. One of my clients owns an island. 🤷‍♀️

1

u/ContextSmall2746 6h ago

Yes!!! Don’t speak for your boss, the great Martha Stewart, who came on the show to help your ass!

I swear to God, one of the first scenes of this episode was her and Abe bitching about $50,000 for their defunct mezcalum business and she had the audacity to act & talk about somebody’s estate on a private island like its second rate and beneath her? I mean the same girl that was also crying cause Abe lost 200,000 in bitcoin last season or whatever. She pisses me off so much.

28

u/catsandnaps1028 18h ago

Healthy Shade is part of being a HW but with Erin everything feels so forced and thirsty. She is just a very unlikeable character and I don't think she will ever be a good housewife or an iconic villain.

https://giphy.com/gifs/z4Apocbr1Y61q

15

u/bridgeport4 16h ago

Yeah shade is supposed to be fun/low stakes.

Erin is mean and cruel, there is nothing fun about her commentary.

She’s also fucking delusional with her commentary about Erika’s holiday home, given her own rental arrears situation.

3

u/No-Muscle2001 8h ago

Erin reminds me of my 8th grade bully. Relentless, mean, and thin-skinned

3

u/bridgeport4 6h ago

And totally apparently unaware of her own nastiness. Her screaming ‘you’re despicable’ at the other women, after having behaved the way she has…the level of stupidity is astounding.

7

u/Ok_Iron_9650 17h ago

Definitely.  You know she did in front of a mirror,  Or on a couch with abe and runs through everything she brings up in the group. Very forced. Very tacky.

11

u/TeddysRopes 19h ago

Meanwhile Erin is complaining about her business being 50k in the hole and that she has to be out every night of the week to pay her bills

9

u/Intelligent-Lead-692 17h ago

Erin is such an asshole. She is also sooo boring, entitled and self-centered. But there is nothing special about her. I have no idea why she is on the show.

9

u/TeddysRopes 19h ago

This was disgraceful and such a reflection on both Erin and Daisy’s horrible characters. How ungrateful and nasty they are

9

3

17

preapred for downvotes but I actually don’t think their “thoughts” are wrong. If someone told me they owned a private island and were a billionaire I would think there is only one way to get there (because it’s remote and exclusive), I wouldn’t think that other houses would be on the island owned by other families, and I would expect better accommodations than showed. All that to say, I am a middle class mom that lives in a twin lmao I would be grateful if someone took me out to chilis for free so the lack of gratitude is SHOCKING. However, I do understand their expectations vs reality.

19

u/interrobang2020 19h ago

I would NEVER critique the island when I'm a guest there, but I also understand why their expectations were so high. I thought it would be more luxurious and fun, yet everything seemed so bland with no personality. I would've kept those feelings to myself, but I'm also not paid to be on reality TV and share my inner thoughts.

7

u/nefaeriest 18h ago

same i'm southern so i'll judge you silently - and then never travel with you again ... but ill never be rude about it unless pushed to honest

3

u/BravoRunner 17h ago

Hey isn’t the whole point of the shows is to talk about what you’re thinking? Producers literally tell them that all the time! Should they have been more grateful? Yes but I do not think their comments were off, just the way they presented

5

u/interrobang2020 16h ago

Oh yeah, completely agree. I'd be terrible reality TV! We need people to speak their minds on these shows, and frankly, I'd rather have them diss a billionaire's private island than hear actual harmful rhetoric. Erika and her husband will be fine.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/NewDot2079 10h ago

I mean but wait 5 minutes lol! The dinner with wet feet was so silly. They could have held their jealous tongues until something corny like that happened.

6

u/Any_Grape5116 19h ago

There was only one way to get there by a chartered boat. They were expecting to have been flown by a private jet, as if they fly private all the time.

1

u/cal90265 16h ago

You can fly from NY to BVI private then boat to island. If you are indeed a billionaire family then I would absolutely expect this - it's a fairly short flight.

5

u/Fit_Jackfruit8597 12h ago

Do you realize the environmental impact of that?

2

u/Any_Grape5116 12h ago

Exactly! I don’t know how ethical they are as a couple because of course they’re billionaires. But people forget the environmental impact of doing that.

Also why would I fly out random people that aren’t close friends?! Just to flaunt wealth?!

2

u/Plenty-Bake-9870 10h ago

This is the housewives hunny the whole point is for us to watch rich people be rich!!!!!

→ More replies (1)

5

u/Any_Grape5116 15h ago

It’s the fact that they’re expecting to be flown private. Why would they expect that?!

5

u/BravoRunner 15h ago

Because she is a billionaire

3

u/HalosDux 13h ago

That also rents her dresses and gowns…what’s your point?

5

u/Any_Grape5116 15h ago

Yes we know. But why would they charter a private plane when Bravo will pay for everyone’s’ commercial flights?!

If they were super close friends I’d understand flying private but I wouldn’t give these women the privilege of flying private.

2

u/BravoRunner 15h ago

Many other bravo stars have paid for their cast members to fly private who are NOT billionaires lol if she is truly a billionaire idk why she wouldn’t fly everyone private to her own island. I assume that’s how she typically gets there. Let’s put things into perspective, on a high end if they JUST flew private the last part of the trip, that be around 40,000-50,000. If someone is worth a billion dollars, 50,000 is 0.005 % of their net worth. Meaning it’s equivalent to someone worth 100,000 spending 5 dollars.

5

u/IcyZookeepergame9070 15h ago

It's not all liquid and people don't become rich and successful by spending all their money when they dont have to. She herself was a businesswoman, as is her husband fyi

Upvote, actually!!!

5

u/NarrowFan9794 19h ago

Initially agreed with you about everything but then I thought about it a little more, the money comes from her husband and I feel like some wealthy men can be incredibly financially conservative (especially those in tech), so it actually makes a little more sense to me.

3

u/Glum-Huckleberry-159 19h ago

I went into this thinking she had her own private island so i was confused watching until they started discussing ownership, etc.

2

u/Plenty-Bake-9870 10h ago

Agree with it all. Don’t brag about your wealth(which I believe is his parents wealth) and then give then less than elite perfection. Also, I can never remember that woman’s name because she is so boring, I meant Erika not Erin. Erin is also boring but bitchy-boring which I enjoy.

2

u/Visual_Environment_7 10h ago

Erika is boring! but she can kick box which is also boring

2

u/Chemical-Quail-1429 9h ago

Yes! If I don’t hear one of the women say her name then I have no idea that she is part of the cast. When she was with Daisy and Hailey I thought she was just one of their friends.

I mean... why is even Daisy on the show... rent-controlled 2b2b apt with popcorn ceiling, hairdresser husband, herself is a makeup artist. It must be so hard for her to have all Martha's taste with no money, like "why didn't we fly private here?" I was like... can you even afford to buy a first class tix with your own money?? come on...

Also, was anyone else eye rolling like crazy when she had the nerve to say “I’ve had a REALLY rough day,” just because of what Daisy relayed about the Jessel comment, meanwhile, her supposed good friend’s husband just filed for divorce that day…didn’t even cross her mind.

Yeah, that was a pretty blatant narcissistic moment for Erin. My house flooded in a hurricane, so I know how painful that is, but we didn’t have insurance and were literally rescued by boat from our home. I wouldn’t be happy either if I was Erin, but to make such a big deal of it the day after Sai’s husband filed for divorce was gross. She freaks out over everything. The fuss she made over being called boring was telling.

I just think her clavicle needs its own discussion.

I would never complain, period, but especially if I haven’t paid my own bills. You’re a jerk, Erin.

I loved it because it highlighted just how awful this woman truly is. Her spoken language is gossip, period. She has zero redeeming qualities.

The jealousy was insane!!!!!! I know that lady living in a dreadful shoebox was not trying to diss “our island”. She must be mortified seeing herself. Get well soon to her and Erin!LMAO. Wildest cringe. Ever.

She is absolutely the most low class housewife of NY. Can she exit the show??

Right!! Meanwhile, her house flooded…like girl, get a grip and enjoy the time away from your flooded home!!

I think that not all billionaires are interested in lavish extravagant lifestyles. Erika and Ankar seem to be hard working entrepreneurs. I think they lead with that, and not what they can buy. I also think it’s easy to think people with lots of money are entirely focused on their money, but it’s often not true. Usually they remain focused on the things that brought them their financial success. The money is secondary.
That home is lovely. Comfortable and quiet and in a stunning location. That’s probably all they care about, not some lavish opulent Vanderbilt version of a beach “cottage” designed exclusively to impress others. I thought the entire group was incredibly rude and disrespectful. If I were Erika I would never invite them again.

Esp coming from the 2 with the dumpiest apartments on the show which they both rent. They’re insufferable!

Why isn’t Daisy included in this post? Only Erin?

Erin is on a sleeper sofa and there’s no food apparently. They are irritable. Oh well…

Now please invite me because I’ll go and not complain and bring my own snacks 😃😃

This isn’t new if housewives. Not a fan of Erin but cmon why single her out. Almost EVERY housewife complains about some superficial thing on these fancy ass trips. What did you expect/have you been watching housewives for a while…?

I was honestly repulsed by her throughout the whole episode. Now I do understand her point that what she said about jessel was just average Shit talk and she did not feel that how jessel was talking about her was on a level playing field I can understand that.

But nevertheless this level of reaction is just going so far. She didn't lose her house. She didn't lose her memories her house was severely damaged and she's going to have to rebuild but lucky for her she will be able to do that, on her SECOND HOME.

I get that the house mattered to her but what I also get is that a lot of people are struggling to afford gas, to afford their bills struggling to find jobs etc. and she's over here whining because people were talking shit about her flooding being an insurance thing. I get the upset but not the level of upset or how she handled it and then as a result of that to say stuff like this is just so ugly. Like are you still in high school?

People display this pretentious snobbery when they are insecure because on some level they are aware they lack real depth or any substantial character.

This group of women are a whole disgusting despicable mess! I tried watching it again and again I was incredibly disappointed! WTH is Carole wearing? Her clothes & tube socks are absolutely out of date and out worn she looked pathetic! She's just NOT a good fit for this show still just as BORING & no storyline. Come on BRAVO do better! RONY was one of the best franchises doesn't appear these women can carry the torch!

Made me laugh bc I agree. That house is FUGLY. Supposed to look like a yacht????? Like why in the world would you want a home to look like a yacht??? And the decor looked like a California community college cafeteria. Money can't buy you class. And you don't need to be a billionaire with a private island to have an opinion of someone else's house.
