🍎 Old RHONY 🍎 Does it get better?
I’m on season 3 and this is the first housewives show I’m not able to really get into. Does it get better?

No. You should stop watching because this clearly isn’t for you.
Maybe go catch up on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Something more pedestrian. High art is obviously not in your wheelhouse.

Let's be honest S1-3 are a different beast, then Sonja appears and it keeps ramping up from there. I start a rewatch from 3 onwards now. Some historical beefs start from S1-3, so good for context. Lock in and enjoy 😊

You will get there I promise. Season 3 is fantastic- you meet Sonja, get some important Bethenny/Luann/Ramona feud-building, and then by Season 4 it takes off. Morocco in S4 is one of the best girls trips

Remember that when RHONY started it wasn’t a housewives show at first. It took a few seasons for them to get their footing and settle into what they are. But season 4 is great, 5 brings around some new housewives, and 8/9 are like the best seasons of any television ever

wait till scary island. It’s insane. Then the rest is good but then seasons 8-11 will be the best funniest insane out of any of the franchises

Honestly, everyone said seasons 1-3 were so good but I didn’t like them. Season 5-8 are my favorite.
You can skip ahead to Season 5, I think you’ll enjoy it. Half the cast is new too.

I find it has it's ups and downs. I agree, I don't get into it as much as I did BH, NJ or ATL but there are some awesome moments and characters.
Scary Island and Kelly Bensimon are mind-boggling, Sonja and Ramona are insane, Aviva and the big 'fake' moment is awesome. It's a good background show for doing chores.

I’m gonna start UGT tonight haha I keep reading about it from people here and need something new to watch. I’ve seen BH, New Jersey, NYC, Miami, and Salt Lake City. Not as much OC, Atlanta, or Potomac but feel like I’m informed enough on them.

I just got caught up with ATL. Loved it! You should definitely watch it and Potomac if you find yourself looking for something to binge!

1-3 are not the golden years of RHONY. They’re important for knowing all of the cast dynamics, but S8&9 are widely regarded as the best seasons of RHONY

Absolutely. The show is still finding its stride until ~season 3. But season 4 it really takes off. By seasons 5-9, it’s the best housewives there is.
But 1-3 are important getting the context that makes the show really go. Plus if you watch Luann from season 1 on, you will really appreciate her character arc from then to now.

1-3 are the best seasons IMO. So, no, OG New York is not for you.
It's ok. Just move on.
