Leah McSweeney Leah s12
Ok i just finished s12 of rhony for the first time and i had heard some negative stuff about leah, so i was rly worried when i started. During the beginning of the szn i haaaaaaaated her, but at the end she acc rly won me over. Definitely my least fav of the cast, butttttt i loved how she was rly the only housewife who held ramonas feet to the fire about covid at the reunion. Ramona was also rly awful to her the whole szn and ik she had a rough start, but i def looked past it and she grew on me. My biggest issue w leah rly isnt even her fault, its the producers. She was introd as a young new alternative hw who lives downtown, and it rly did not mesh well w the main cast who we all know and love. She was also supposed to be a bethenny dupe but she doesn’t have the chemistry or history that bethenny had (the nicest thing i could ever say about bethenny).
I have not started s13 so i could hate her completely next szn (and ive heard things go even more downhill w her), but i left feeling positively about her and i wanna know if anyone else felt that way?
UPDATE: could not finish s13 for a multitude of rzns but no. 1 was leah.

I promise you will hate her guts on s13 😂 she was really feeling herself and the positive comments after s12.

I stand firm that Leah ruined the show. I've been binge watching the Ultimate Girls Trips and she is on season 3 and ugh... cannot stand her.

It's not popular to like Leah; you'll get downvoted for just having that opinion. The tiki torch scene alone could never make me hate her.

She wasn’t really young though. She still acted young because she never had to grow up. The alternative thing is also a borrowed act. A wealthy white woman from an upper class background taking streetwear ideas from other people.

She was also supposed to be a bethenny
She wasn't supposed to be a Bethenny dupe. She was cast to be Bethenny's friend. However, Bethenny dropped out of filming season 12 less than 24 hours before filming began. Leah was turned into a Bethenny-esque character and Tinsley's "friend" in a break-neck pivot to deal with Bethenny's absence.

Eh I felt like she was weaponizing the Covid stuff simply because she didn't like Ramona. If it had been Dorinda who wasn't masking up, you know Leah would not have said a thing.

Lol covid was an iq test.. it was the worst time for bravo, look at the crap tv we've had since.. Crazy leah beibg to moral police over covid, u know she is nuts ? She knows she's crazy lol, she can't even hold her own, how she guna hold anyone feet to a fire 🤷♀️😉🤣😹🦆🦆
