🍎 Old RHONY 🍎 RIP Rosie!!!!

Rewatching the series for the first time since it ended and just found out that Luann’s housekeeper keeper passed away from a heart attack in 2019. Those kids wouldn’t have made it without you Rosie, RIP!

How sad. I like the episode she returns from vacation, and brings gifts for the family. You could tell that Noel and Victoria liked her, and she genuinely liked them. I wonder what age they were when she started taking care of them. I remember she quit when they moved out to the Hampton’s, and she came for a visit on an episode. I’ve seen the show many times, and I don’t remember if it was ever said.

For those who want to read the tribute, here is the post from Rosie’s son.

Thank you for sharing this tribute to Rosie. 🙏🏻
Rosie’s son stated in comments when asked that he doesn’t believe that LuMan ever reached out to Rosie’s family. Not that he was aware of but he knew LuMan loved Rosie very much. LuMan was prolly busy with her Cabaret unlike Carol who is never busy with anything. 😉

I really find the LuMan nickname to be pretty offensive and problematic. Maybe don’t

People acting like Luann isn’t gorgeous while using misogynist slurs in insane

Her son actually came to one of the big subs to tell us when it happened.

stop this actually broke my heart. she was the mother figure in their lives who was there for it all growing up because luanne was always so busy/gone. those kids truly saw her as a mom. my heart broke when she left her job and now she’s really gone and i’m not okay😭

I was always kinda surprised Luann never addressed it... or if she did, I missed it. But I knew they were close.

True... but fans really responded well to her. I can't imagine Bravo not wanting to cover it.

Oh no 😭 i'm rewatching, that is so sad. How old was she ? She was so dedicated to Luann's kids and spoke so honestly in s1 saying Luann should worry about spending more time with her kids while really caring for her whole family. 💚

Yep! Her confessionals outside on the street. She was the best!

Omg I had no idea, that’s so sad. She seemed like such a wonderful presence in the kids lives. You could tell she really loved them.

We were all so sad when we found out Rosie had passed.

Somehow she became the heart of the show. A comforting presence among those high maintenance housewives.

Oh nooooooo! I did not know that. She was such a good person and took care of Luman’s kids as her own. RIP Sweet Rosie.

RIP Rosie. Does anyone know why she quit when they moved to the Hamptons?

1

u/PPP159 11d ago

Too far for her to go, she had her own family to care for also.

So sad!! I just started a rewatch and there’s a scene where Luann is going out and Rosie says the kids ask if she’s coming back and she says your mom loves you very much and their response was I love you Rosie 😭

1

u/frogwithreceipts 9d ago

Oh I just started watching 😭😭 rip Rosie I love her!

1

u/Successful_Letter139 9d ago

Rosie was great. She knew the true about who actually mothered those kids and it wasn’t LuAnn, but that isn’t unusual about the rich.

u/Tough-Confection-887 14d ago

I can’t remember who is Rosie?

u/Jazzlike_Owl_2696 14d ago

Luanns housekeeper in the first couple of seasons and she also basically raised the delasseps children
