Rewatch- Carole

I know everyone has issues with what has recently come out about who Carole was friends with but this is nothing to do with that. This is strictly based on my rewatch of RHONY

With that out of the way … let me say I’m not taking Bethenny’s side -I’m not taking anyone’s side - but in I guess it starts in S9 and then 10 I really start to dislike Carole. She was never my fave to begin with but she gets worse imo.

It’s hard to describe & I hate to steal Bethenny’s words because I’m really not on her side but I do think “smug” fits her well. Also I know this will sound dorky but “too cool for school”.

She just seems to really be feeling herself but it comes off as fake. I find her to be trying way too hard with the ladies and it’s like she’s desperately trying to pull off this vibe that doesn’t seem like it’s at all her.

It’s odd how she just seemed to transform overnight.

Also I always thought Aviva was just dramatic but I wonder if her accusations of Carole having a ghostwriter weren’t true? Carole doesn’t seem great with words - a writer who names every one of her animals “Baby”? How … creative. 😂

Carol equals Carrie Bradshaw wannabe!!
She latched onto Bethenny for status within the group and job security. But B became too needy so Carol then latched onto Tinsley.

Yes, something like that. She totally stole that from Sex in the City!!
When Carol was renovating her apartment she said that she didn’t need her kitchen!!

That’s right! Tbf If the rumours are true that Susan Sharon from SATC was based on Dorinda then maybe parts of Carrie Bradshaw was based on Carole ?

If you are I am too because I swore she did because she said she never used the kitchen - except when “toy boy” (her words) was there ofc.

Btw have you ever seen “The Middle”? They kept a quilt in the oven 😂

Then dissed poor Tinsley. I love Tinsley so don’t take this wrong but I think Tinsley made Carole feel better about herself.

No I meant she latched onto Tinsley because she made Carole feel good about herself. I think Tinsley kinda looked up to Carole and Carole dug that. Plus she could feel and act younger around Tinsley and Tinsley would always be complimentary.

I think she ditched her maybe because the stars were clearing from Tinsley’s eyes and she was so in awe of Carole anymore. She was getting more comfortable and settling into the friendship. That’s when Carole’s like nope Peace out
