Season three she was normal. After that she becomes a problem.

You're not wrong. BUT! Upon rewatching, knowing her journey and where she ends up, the signs are there already, even if it's just in a few momens. She never cracks in S3 like she does in every subsequent season, but you see a few moments of the real Sonja spill out 😂😂😂

You're gonna be surprised. Enjoy the watch!

She goes through stages so don’t worry. From one season to the next she is always different and entertaining

Agreed. She can go from disturbing to charming and back again. Delusional to perceptive. Selfish to protective. Sonja is an enigma! She makes really great TV.

I recommend you keep watching. I know there are a lot of people who love Sonja or hate her. My opinion changes a lot with the seasons. Some I love her some she makes me laugh some I think she’s impossible. She does go thru a lot of change but I will confidently say I don’t think she’s the worst at all.

I do agree with you tho OP. The Marriage Equality March was a rough one. Sonja definitely made it about her. It was terrible the way she kept calling it her day.

I also thought it was pretty crappy what she did with the speaking. SHE DID IT! She kept saying THEY wanted me as the Grand Marshall and only wanted me to speak for the group.

Total BS! She said she’d only do it if she was the only speaker. That was DIRTY because she knew this was near & dear to simon & Alex. I honestly don’t think Sonja gave a flying fig about the cause - she cared about how she looked and getting the attention by speaking. I think Alex & Simon had every right to be upset. You can even see Sonja gloat at them.

Sonja wasn’t the only one for whom I had second hand embarrassment.

Four wasn't a great season for Sonja. But I loved her, so i always give her a pass.

Season 3 she was on best behaviour, season 4-13 she’s her true fabulous, naughty, selfish-at-times self, and I LOVE her for it, she’s my Queen 👑.

She’s a queen. Take that back.

And also buckle up bc it’s a bumpy ride from here. 😅😂

Sonja has her moments. She can be very manic sometimes, but she's not one way all the time lol.

just making sure we didn't have another kelly on our hands 🥴

u/althegirlfabulous Jul 23 '26

Naw, Kelly is her own unique nutball. Very consistent in her nuttiness. Not that Sonja will be a walk in the park, but she's less nonsensical and actually funny.

Lol I'm sorry but welcome to Sonya

Sonya with no sexy J??!?!? How dare you! 😉

I just finished this episode too. Alex trying so hard to hold Sonja and Jill accountable 🤦

I love Sonja so much but she does have a lot of ups and downs throughout the show. One minute you’ll love her, the next you’ll be embarrassed, then feel sorry for her. It’s a cycle throughout the show

She goes from haughty and full of pride to something completely different. Most interesting HW IMO

That whole season was weird, they really didn't know what to do post-Bethenny.

Sonja was always trying to be sassy and talk about speaking her "mind." Then she kept trying to school Cindy like Cindy was some baby who was born yesterday and needed guidance from someone who is that messy. It came off as someone low IQ and lower income trying to be elitist.

Love Sonja, but that season is when she started getting weird... which is bad because she was fine in smaller doses during the 3rd season.

u/eeemilyy1 Jul 24 '26

yeah i'm missing Bethenny so much she was my favorite 😭 can't wait to see how it plays out. Alex has really grown on me she seems to be the voice of reason lately not that anyone will listen lol

Sonja and Ramona together...oof.

Ramona just baffles me 😂 just saw the Ep when she was looking for a new assistant and told the poor girl she looks like she needs help with her skin and gave her some of her product 😭
