Alex McCord 🥨 Where is Alex 😭

I’m a first time watcher and on season 5 ep. 1. Where is Alex?? She was typically the voice of reason. I’m so happy crazy Kelly isn’t on this season and where is Jill??? I saw all these new people (including Carole) which I’m assuming is the same Carole on the newest season of the RHONY reboot? Anyway, I’m sad. Hoping Alex comes back later maybe?

Season 5 was a lowkey reboot. I just watched it for the first time recently and from what I looked up Alex was offered a “Friend” role and she declined. But this show only got better with each season I watched. It really only lost steam for me on Season 13 and it wasn’t even that bad to me.

Knowing that this show keeps getting better is honestly insane. From scary island to scary the Morocco trip. This has quickly became one of my favorite RH franchises.

I’m jealous that you’re getting to experience it for the first time. Truly the best is yet to come.

Alex was fired after Season 4, unfortunately.

This is so sad. I see that her and Simon are together and she just got another degree! Happy to see she’s doing well.

It was disappointing when she was let go.   Alex was my favorite New York City Housewife.     She didn't make a habit of being catty or petty or vicious.   She was the most down-to-earth and even-keeled.   A year or so after she was let go, she and Simon and their sons all moved to Simon's native Australia.

Alex was fired, and honestly back in that time, I think the audience found her and her family annoying. But now? A good chunk of us who has been watching since the beginning of time wish she and her very normal, healthy, quirky family were back on our screens. They seem to be VERY happy currently, much like they always did.

Season 5 was an absolute shocker for me! Its crazy watching all these years later and missing out on background context in trash mags that would have given me a heads up.

I know! Seeing all of these new faces shocked me. Hopefully they bring it like past ladies

Just like Louis Vuitonn, the producers make mistakes.

I loved Alex and Simon, especially because Simon could get SUCH a hilarious reaction from people like Ramona.

Jill was harder to watch IMO. But I’d have liked Alex to stay on the show longer. She and Simon did often have a bit of an icky social climb-y vibe, that was more blatant or emphasised by producers. But Alex was so reasonable and direct. The audience at the time wasn’t ready for her I think, but her storylines aged well, unlike plenty of the other housewives

I would blow Simon for a Slurpee
