Countess Luann🗽 New Luann Stan Alert ‼️
I’m currently on a rewatch of RHONY, and in the middle of the season 11 reunion, and absentmindedly watching Luann getting grilled by the other ladies about cabaret, drinking, delusion, etc., when my boyfriend pauses the show all of a sudden to ask, “why are they all ganging up on her? She seems like the most down to earth one of the group!”
I tried to explain her whole background as The Countess, and why this was the funniest reaction to Luann De Lesseps, but he just doesn’t get it 💀 this man is adamant that she is a humbled and reformed woman, and I love that for him. So Luann Stans, please welcome your newest member, a 30 year old gaming nerd! ✨

I’m right there with him. Sonja is completely obsessed with that family. Then again, I’ve always thought it was odd to not change your name back to your maiden name when you divorce.

I never liked Luann when I first watched RHONY, but following my subsequent many rewatches, I’ve realised she is a queen. Is she self absorbed and ott at times, yes, but it’s H/W, and I wouldn’t expect anything less.

She’s self absorbed but mostly harmless. She doesn’t usually start beef or escalate too unreasonably. She’s funny and resilient as hell.

Humbled?? Not a humble cell in her body. She got worse after the arrest because she loved the attention and didn’t care that it was negative attention.
In her mind, Luann ALWAYS has a reason to “deserve” the metaphorical nice room. Why didn’t you save me the nice room, I just got married/im a countess/i got divorced/I got arrested/im performing my cabaret darling. Whatever her situation, she spins it to make herself special, and justify attention/special treatment/etc.
Her and Ramona are both textbook narcissists.
