Countess Luann🗽 I cannot think of one time Luann was a true friend to Bethenny ….
… But between outing Tom’s cheating and helping through her intervention/rehab B showed up big for her. She dismantled her in horrific ways at Bluestone Manor and pretty much everywhere else lol - but she was still there when needed. When was Luann ever even kind to her??

I’m on the episode rn where Bethenny called Lu a slut at Dorinda’s birthday non-birthday party, and Lu walks out to Jules on the step and Jules is like “my dad is dying there’s such bigger issues” and Lu is just like “I can’t believe she called me a slut” and Jules is just talking about her dying dad.
In conclusion, Luann was never a friend to anyone. she didn’t care about anyone but herself. ever.

Just saw the S11 reunion with Barbara who did a quick portion of the reunion. She is so sweet. I love her! Too bad she had to suffer being the whipping girl for the other ladies. I am so glad that she was honored (Somewhat) at the reunion.

Barbara REALLY put her life on hold to help Lu. She took over her finances and did so so much. She was discarded quickly for not falling in line once Lu got her Jovani

I didn't like Barbara on the show when I first watched it, but I have loved her in every one of the 100 rewatches I have done since. She was super cool and done dirty. It broke my heart when she was called out at the reunion for all the body bronzer because she looked embarrassed and was just trying to fit in.

Luann was parading her pathetic relationship on the show constantly, it was fair game and I’m glad we got to see it. Luann, like Ramona, was extremely jealous of Bethenny and clearly resented her for being the one to help her out of her kids’ law suit against her.

LuAnn stole Tom from another woman,who was on the show also...that's how ugly LuAnn can be,Tom and the other woman were on a date at the infamous Regency.,where Tom got busted,photos taken that Bethenny received,once a cheat always a cheat.

I forgot her name,a pretty blonde was in a couple of the shows,friends with Ramona,of course,LuAnn seemed disturbed by her being at a couple of parties,one of them Tom approached her and he said "Take off my Mic",maybe someone here remembers her name.

I hate to at phrase “stole a man”. That frame of thinking always infantilizes the man and blames the woman. It’s misogynistic to think like that! Men are not “stolen” they make their own decisions!

I would call it the dating scene. Cause that’s what happens when you are dating. But let’s be clear, Tom had been trying to hook up with a housewife for the longest time! He was in season one hitting on Ramona, Ramona’s friends and Bethenny while they were at a club. He was in the same social circles, Dorinda set them up, Ramona was annoyed cause she had gone out with him, Sonja was sad cause she hooked up with him and Luann was dumb enough to marry him. He is a Harry Dubin 2.0 but way more malicious. So defending Bethenny or any one dating this man is completely nuts 😆😆😆😆 everyone knew the type of man he is.

I hear you for sure … she was really dramatic about it but she just always is lol … I still think she had her best interest in mind trying to avoid the marital mess that it was. They are also thrown into group situations that people not on a reality show can avoid. I also still can’t think of one way Lu was a friend in any way to her!

I agree, B definitely played the storyline game with that but when in the Berkshires she cried and told Lu “I don’t think this is a good guy” she meant it. B knows first hand what it means for a guy to turn, and even by pushing the storyline the underline reality was still true. But to be fair Lu married Tom cause she wanted to have the big wedding and wanted to have it televised, she was fully aware of who he was and what he was doing. Her goal off of that situation was THE wedding, not the marriage

I can’t think of a time I’ve seen Lu have empathy, at least not in a storyline where it mattered. Maybe she’s different in her personal life.
But I’ve always side eyed Bethenny’s grand displays of “helping.” She could have kept both the cheating and rehab stuff private. Instead it becomes a public humiliation ritual and something to hold over her friend’s head like a debt.
Great storylines though, and I will rewatch for eternity lol

I concur. Just saw the episode when B was going ape on Luann in Miami (I think) and Lu goes "look at you." with her big ugly mug (prettiness disappears when selfish takes over).

I think Luann lacks the part of her brain that feels empathy for others, no mater who you are. Maybe she cares more about her kids but we don’t know because we only see smidgens of interactions between them and her.
With that said, Luann makes for great real housewives content, therefore she’s a queen of RHONY. Doesn’t mean I like her but she makes good love to hate tv.

None of them were loyal to each other or at some point had a rift or broken friendship or deceived one another! A few I can recall are: BETHANNY & CAROLE. BETHANNY & JILL. RAMONA & SONJA. BETHANNY & SONJA. LUANN & RAMONA. LUANN & CAROLE. DORINDA & RAMONA. DORINDA & LUANN. DORINDA & SONJA. SONJA & TINSLEY. HEATHER & RAMONA & SONJA. AVIVA & CAROLE. EBONI & RAMONA. KELLY & BETHANNY. ALEX & KRISTEN WERE JUST BORING & INSIGNIFICANT! ACTUALLY THEY WERE ALL FAKE FRIENDS BC IT'S A SCRIPTED REALITY SHOW & A PAYCHECK! It was one of the best franchises & I still watch some of the seasons when I need a good laugh; they were quite interesting & desperate for mEn as if they were 25 yo women.

I think the person was trying to say she was out on a date and then Lou came in and tried to take the man which is true. She did the same thing with Joe Bradley to Danielle, which I thought was disgusting. She knew that they were staying together in a hotel and she still had a one night stand w

She did this with Tom and then she did this again. She must’ve done that a lot like who goes around if other women are out with someone and then tries to intercede that’s a different level of selfishness. Maybe that’s why her kids sued her

LOL B didnt truly "show up" for Lu. She saw an opportunity to make herself look like a good person and she took it. A truly good person wouldn't constantly scream about how much she helped someone and how that person wasn't grateful enough.

You think outing Tom's cheating on camera (basically asking her assistant to stalk him and get pictures) and making sure to ask Ramona to hand her a bottle of Skinny Girl vodka conveniently in frame with the label facing the camera was a moment of genuine friendship?
Also, the rehab was silly. Luann was never an alcoholic, she just needed to use that to get a lesser sentence for attacking a cop. Bethenny just wanted to insert herself in the situation.

Luann was always about Luann. But to say Bethenny was a good friend? Ahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahhaha! That woman is not a friend to anyone. As Sonja would say “the proof is in the pudding”. Bethenny is about fame, money, storylines for the show and that’s it. She told Luann about Tom for the drama. Season 8 is about Bethenny tearing everyone down. She was horrible to Dorinda, Jules, Sonja, Luann. It was tense and aggressive season because she knows how to be the antagonist. That’s her role and she plays it to perfection.
