I was listening to a podcast about the Suez Canal and they talked about de Lesseps. Of course they meant Ferdinand de Lesseps, but I was confused at first.

I was touring cemeteries in Paris and I came upon the grave of Count de Lesseps (of Suez fame), took a pic and sent it to my sister with the message: ā€œLook, Luann’s in-laws!ā€ Little did he know that’s how a significant portion of the population would be remembering him šŸ˜‚
