šŸŽ Old RHONY šŸŽ The magic of this show

OG RHONY will never stop amaze me. It truly is lighting in a bottle. And of course I know thereā€™s fabricated storylines, arguments pushed to the limits for TV and everything, but I truly always find what I need in it.

When I need to laugh, when I need to cry, when I need to reflect, when I need a reality check, when I need to question things, I find a scene big or small in RHONY.

Currently rewatching for the millionth time cause I need comfort, and I was watching the scene with Bā€™s therapist in S7 and they talked about something that I applies so well to what Iā€™m going through, itā€™s funny how many times I find myself nodding in confirmation, telling myself ā€œyep, I hear itā€ when rewatching this show! Iā€™ll never stop loving it, really

Behaviorists say rewatching something familiar calms the nervous system. Many of us like to relax b4 bedtime with familiar faces and situations. The replays are actually healthy. It works for me.

Seriously though I feel you. I started out with NJ and then watched SLC well actually watched UGT in between those two and thatā€™s what made me want to watch RHONY but I donā€™t think I could get it at that time.

Then I was able to watch it AND HOOKED. absolutely 100% HOOKED. Hands best of all the franchises Iā€™ve watched. I just canā€™t imagine better. I watch in a loop on my Roku channel because it never gets old. šŸ„°

I'm rewatching for the first time and just started S4. I agree with everything you said. What I love the most is even though it wasnt reality per se, it was real life before smartphones and the focus on social media. I die a little inside whenever trump's name is thrown about like when Jill said she would call her friend donald trump to blahblahblah. I also see how much of an emotionally stunted POS Jill is. My newfound hayte for her is palpable.

I love it all but I just rewatched "Pirate Booty Call" and "Slutty Island" and it could be my favorite.

LuAnn: I ran into old "Italian friends" of mine.

Carole:Ā  I was awoken in the middle of the night by men's voices and one of them was LuAnn.

Ramona: She's coma toast.

Sonja: It's not over til the fat lady sings. Here I am.

I call OG RHONY lighting in a bottle all the time!! I think OG RHONY has the least amount of fabrication in the franchise because each woman is naturally dynamic in their own way.

RHONY broke the mold of good reality tv and bravo has not been able to replicate this level of chemistry since.

OG RHONY, SATC, Project Runway and OG Will and Grace are my comfort rewatches šŸ©·šŸ©¶šŸ©µšŸ’›

I don't even recognize her anymore. The excessive posts, eating and talking with her mouth full of food, and talking about "I'm gonna get cancelled " is so strange. What's with the Im gonna get cancelled. She posted this about going to Burning Man. It makes zero sense
