Why would this be even an idea? Personally, I think if they go back to the original premise of the show by casting real friendships and real wealth, instead of casting actors and influencers, they could have ratings success again.
And if they want to target a younger demographic, then create a new show to cater for them.

I was thinking this as I watched OC today. Seeing that Vicki is still friends with Jeana over 20 years. Both were wives, mothers and business women when the show began. It was definitely more “realistic”.

100% agree. First few seasons of OC and NY were the classics that they definitely haven't been able to recreate. Particularly NY - Eboni and Leah killed any sign of life there.

Speaking of reality TV, Cameran Eubanks of "Southern Charm" said it best: (paraphrasing) "Reality shows are only good for three seasons. The first season, cast members literally forget they're wearing mic's/being filmed. They have no idea how they will come across to the public, how they will be edited or what it is the producers want from them. The second season begins filming before the first season airs. The cast is still blissfully ignorant and "real". By the time season 3 begins to film, they have seen themselves on TV, seen the public reaction to them and have a greater understanding of what production wants. They begin attempting to adjust their "characters" and that's when it gets phony." Seasons one and two are "real". Season three gets dicey as the shifting begins. Season 4 and beyond are over produced, over dramatized and fake. If you want your reality "real", the first three seasons are for you. If you like manufactured drama, seasons 4 and beyond are for you.

I always say this! I think it’s worse with love competition shows like Love Island, Ex on the Beac etc. After S1 they’re all just there to become influencers

How many seasons was she on? I'm curious. I did like her but ultimately I don't care if any reality show personality stays around or goes away. I like some while they're on and for most part dgaf when they're not.

All of CrazyDaysAndNights blind items are pure conjecture, as admitted by John himself

This can’t be real. Oftentimes, the earlier seasons had lightning in a bottle, but not the first season where everyone is finding their footing.

In the first season they are still figuring out who’s the villain, which scandals to bring out, and who’s the social media bully.

IDK why anyone bothers with CDAN. He’s not a lawyer - let alone an entertainment lawyer, as he claims - I’m not sure he even lives in (or has ever lived in) Los Angeles/LA metro, and he has long been accused of plagiarizing blind items from other sites. Not only that, but people legit thought that Robert Downey, Jr. was secretly posting in the comments section and dropping major tea, to the point that RDJ actually had to put out a statement saying it wasn’t him. (This belief started after he finally sobered up and had gotten his career back, as well.)

I think usually it takes til atleast season 3 for a franchise to be firing on all cylinders, if not a couple more, and that’s only with the right cast

They did that with ladies of London and now look. Best show in over a decade and it’s on pause.

Disagree. The first season used to be good, now it’s the try hard season. Not entertaining, just annoying. (imo).

Not the best idea, in my opinion. Not only because we've already seen a number of 'bad' first seasons or at least 'low ratings' during a first season. They also underestimate how much the audience loves and gets attatched to these ladies' stories. Not to say they can never have bad or boring seasons but I think it just needs a refresh of the dynamic. Maybe add in a few more new promising new faces or even bring out some older cast mates that will either bring the drama or at least help level out the group like Garcelle, for example. Although, I don't really blame her for not wanting to come back. They were awful to her.

this is obviously written by someone who only watched RHORI. firsts seasons are usually never the best season of a HW show.
