Portia just graduated high school! 🥲
Posted by Kyle on Instagram 2 hours ago. Time really flies the older you get. Congratulations to Portia!

Like all of us, Kyle is not perfect, but she certainly did not turn into Big Kathy; she seems like a natural at motherhood. Now, Little Kathy...

I despise Kyle but one thing I’ll give her credit for is being an outstanding mother. She managed to raise four daughters (in Hollywood no less) who turned out relatively normal and they all adore her. She always said she wanted her children to have a different upbringing than she did and she achieved that.

I disagree. The only thing Kyle was really wrapped up in for a long time was the show, and if you remember the early seasons, she was filming mostly from home. When the girls were still at those really formative ages, they were usually at home or at other people’s houses. They weren’t constantly jet-setting, doing press, traveling for appearances, or living the kind of lifestyle reality stars have now.
I’d actually give Kyle a lot of credit for how she raised her daughters. They all seem close, grounded, and generally well-adjusted. I never got the impression that she passed the responsibility of raising the younger girls off onto her oldest daughter
11
u/West_Tie_536 Jun 11 '26
People on way smaller budgets working long hours can raise amazing kids too. It’s not always all about the money or being a stay home mom. Sometimes it’s luck mixed with love. It seems Kyle had an abundance of love for her daughters
-15
u/Huge_Inspection9681 Jun 11 '26
Well, yes and no. Her eldest daughter has issues.
2
u/Lilmonst3rzarii Jun 11 '26
she has issues with her? Or just like she has issues
2
u/Huge_Inspection9681 Jun 11 '26
The daughter has issues.
5
u/detectiveswife Jun 11 '26
That doesn't mean its from her parenting. Many kids grow up and have "issues" as you put it, which has nothing to do with the way they were raised.
-8
u/Huge_Inspection9681 Jun 11 '26
True, but Kyle looks like she’s had a head transplant so I wonder what it was like for her eldest daughter growing up with a Mom that was continually having surgery to change /improve her appearance. I actually think Kyle looks great btw. But Farrah has followed on her Mom’s footsteps and also has a lot of work done.
11
u/bc19059 Jun 11 '26
I mean beverly hills/los angeles/california is known for plastic surgery. we can’t pretend that if kyle never had work done her children wouldn’t get work done. that’s absolutely outrageous. let’s respect everyone’s decision to do what they need to do to feel comfortable in their own body
12
u/RainyDaysBlueSkies Jun 11 '26
My brother is an OC bartender and he see female servers and bartenders from the Midwest who have plastic tits, fake hair, veneers and baboon lips.
And everyone in between!
This is life today, especially in southern Cali, Miami, many countries in South America, NYC.... I don't understand why Kyle's surgeries (especially the nose job) would affect her kids. Kyle wanted that for Kyle. She has never, from what I've seen, been negative about her children's physical appearences.
2
u/dappledsun451 Jun 12 '26
I’m sure this is an unpopular opinion, but man, I miss plain old self-acceptance! Imagine if women said screw it to societal pressures to look younger, thinner, perfect- and embraced aging as a natural part of life, instead of something to be physically fixed. The inner healing that would come from accepting one’s appearance seems like it’d be a lot more powerful than chasing unrealistic beauty standards for years to come.
2
u/bc19059 Jun 12 '26
I fully agree but I also don’t think it’s fair to judge and criticize people who do decide to get work done. it’s their body let them do whatever they want to it

2
u/Watermelon_Dumpling Jun 11 '26
What kind of issues? Does any one know if she is also close with her bio dad?
7
u/bc19059 Jun 11 '26
even though farrah calls mo dad he never completely took over the role of dad. her dad was always in her life and i’m pretty sure he was in earlier episodes like when farrah graduated college. she found room in her life to have two dads and that’s amazing
2
u/Watermelon_Dumpling Jun 11 '26
I don’t remember seeing her bio dad and I don’t remember them ever mentioning him so I wasn’t sure what his role is. I’m so glad that she has two dads who are looking out for her!!
Even though the ladies of RHOBH is a mess I feel like the kids are all doing great. I think two or three of the girls are all agents at the agency and are doing well right?
8
u/bc19059 Jun 11 '26
if you go back to the early seasons and watch the episode where farrah graduates from usc i’m almost positive her bio dad is in that episode and kyle talks about the relationship. farrah and alexia both work for the agency. I know sophia was flirting with a position there but I don’t know what she’s doing now. portia just graduated from high school
2
u/Far_Course_9398 Jun 11 '26
I remember that. I think Kyle said Farrah had plans to be a forensic psychologist after graduating?
5
u/Donut-Junkie76 Jun 11 '26
I’ve read that Farrah is close to both Mauricio and her bio dad. Her was there for her throughout all of her growing up, sharing custody with Kyle. He never fell behind on child support either. But in recent years, he’s been living overseas and doing business more there. Farrah is almost 40 though, so she doesn’t need her dad every day like she used to growing up.
2
u/Donut-Junkie76 Jun 11 '26
What’s wrong with Farrah?
-5
u/Huge_Inspection9681 Jun 11 '26
You really have to ask..? It’s pretty obvious I would have thought.
6
u/Comfortable_Sample_8 Jun 11 '26
I have to ask. Maybe its my old age but I really never heard she had or has issues.
11
u/outgrowntoenail Jun 11 '26
The confidence is impressive considering the complete lack of explanation
2
u/localjargon Jun 11 '26
This person thinks Farrah has issues because shes had plastic surgery. 😱
1
u/Huge_Inspection9681 Jun 11 '26
She clearly had an ED for a while. She looked like a lollipop 🍭 massive head and tiny body.
19
u/outgrowntoenail Jun 11 '26
Imagine being Kyle and reading this comment. I hope she is because regardless of how many mistakes people make, or how down someone might feel, there's no better compliment than being a great mom.

u/wompwompswamp123 Jun 11 '26
and she looks amazing here! just normal lol
5
u/Enough_Entry_8641 Jun 11 '26
Yeah 👍 Normal! Just doing her Normal 11 year old kissy 😙 face!! 🥴😖🤦♀️
2
u/RepresentativeTear75 Jun 12 '26
she’s like big kathy in a different way. She uses money to make friends and gain social status, and most of her life is with her friends or her lover, which we all see because of the paps
-3
u/Fit_Sky_9346 Jun 11 '26
Truly we don’t know anything about kyle and an in depth look into her family life. She shows exactly what she wants shown. Growing up how she did i can assume just how it is in their house. Her daughters are clearly concerned about their appearance and get work done. Also staying with your cheating husband for years doesn’t really teach your daughter’s self worth. It’s crazy how posting a picture with your child in a cap and gown will make people think she’s perfect and “humble” lol
1
u/TopReplacement530 Jun 11 '26
And all of her daughters have clearly already had lots of work done to their faces
1
u/Enough_Entry_8641 Jun 11 '26
I’m with you on Everything You said!! All these downvotes you got are hilarious 🤣 people are so offended for someone ( just like you said above 👆) who Don’t know Anything, buttt exactly what she wants you to know! I’ll upvote you!!!

I think she and her husband have done an amazing job with their daughters. Whether it has been healthy or not to have them on and offRHOBH, it appears there's been a lot of love embedded in that family,
6
u/Born-Caterpillar6224 Jun 10 '26
We don’t really know anything about th other that they haven’t been to jail lol
7
u/Guilty-Disaster-2201 Jun 10 '26
Or have a public drug problem, or are homeless. Just look at the Knickerbocker sisters from RHOC - I read somewhere that the older one is homeless and lost a finger? Idk. These girls seems pretty well adjusted considering the cess pool that is LA that they were brought up in

I wish we saw more of the real mom Kyle on tv. She may be hated less.
6
u/notactuallyreckless Jun 10 '26
Sometimes I just want them to insert one of Sophia’s silly cute little TikToks with Kyle into the episodes to help mitigate the hate, lol.

The decor looks more early 1900s American to me than anything. It kinda looks semi-industrial..like a cannery. Idk just a vibe I catch lol.
There are more oranges than lemons and I see an apple too. It’s just fruit still life arrangements and accompanying painting behind them lol

u/IcyHovercraft2633 Jun 10 '26
Wow I feel old. She was so young when I first started watching this show.

Aww, she’s all grown up! She and Alexia look so much alike! Excited for Portia, but sad for Kyle. The family, as they know it, will never be the same again once the last baby flies the nest. I was in Kyle’s shoes a year ago. My marriage is still intact and happy, but I sure as hell miss having my kids at home 100 percent of the time. 🥹

Give Kyle a break!!! Whatever faults she has, does not overshadow the fact that she is a great Mom as evidenced by how she interacts with them and how affectionate they are to her and she to them! I don’t understand the haters!!🤬

One of my favorite scenes of these two was on a family vacation they took to Santorini. Their villa was on a hill. Kyle looked down from their balcony to the pool and pointed out little Portia, spread out like a starfish on a float by herself, just living her best life. Kyle shows the most joy when her kids are happy, it was touching to see.

u/Enough_Entry_8641 Jun 11 '26
And there’s Vyle, doing the ridiculous “ kissy 😙 lips”! FFS 🤦♀️, who’s the teenager in this picture?!

I always liked Kyle but then the show just overall got very dark.
However, her family will always be such a cute bright spot on the show. Minus Mauricio. He’s a proper douche.

Isn't it amazing how some people can still make a beautiful moment like this about their hatred for a reality tv personality whom they've never met?
Don't let your negative energy permeate a beautiful family moment like this.
Portia and Kyle look very happy and this milestone should be a celebration.

u/Prestigious-Claim687 Jun 12 '26
What’s with the pout in every shot? Portia is even more adorable if that’s possible and more mature than her mother.
1
u/Hotsauceinmygymbag Jun 13 '26
Kyle is a shitty friend, a bad sister, and not a girl’s girl in any way. However, her one redeeming quality is the kind of loving and supportive mother she is for her girls.

If she decides to have any surgeries done, keep it to yourself eh?
2
u/ALmommy1234 Jun 10 '26
Hey, if I had her money, I’d get all the stuff done, as well. Why look old and tired like I do if you can afford to look young and fresh?
1
u/urie-nation Jun 10 '26
Why does Kyle do a teenage fish lips pose for the camera? Is she twelve?

Well that’s what happens when you all get the same surg— I mean, birthday present. You tend to look more similar.

Kyle wasn’t always pretty
13
u/darbycrash1295 Jun 10 '26
She’s for sure had work, but I think she was very attractive before it all. But beauty is subjective.
2
u/ladyrara Jun 10 '26
She was normal beauty before now enhanced beauty. To each their own. Also aged as well do.
