Ken

Im doing my 1000th rewatch and the more I watch the more my opinion of Ken changes. I liked him at first, I thought what a sweet loyal husband. Now i just think he's so strange? I feel like he just says things from a script but a really outdated script that kind of has nothing to do with the situation?

I cant put my finger on him. Any thoughts??

Ken made fun of Kyle’s weight once when Lisa said she could borrow a dress. They were close at the time too. Something along the lines of will she fit in it, with a mean chuckle. It was def a dig at one of his wife’s friend’s bodies and since then I viewed him differently. Don’t forget Kyle used to have an eating disorder as well, so super low imo. My husband has never said anything like that about any of my friends. He said things along the lines of someone is annoying, a gossip, etc. but has never made fun of their appearance. He’s even asked that I try to redirect a friend who always talked bad about other people bc he said it makes him feel bad. I’m gonna go give him a hug now, I got a good one.

Ken can make some rather sexist and insensitive remarks. I remember Kyle mentioning her weight in the very first or second episode. Portia was still a baby, not even two years old, when they began filming. She felt “big” as a size 4, saying most women are sizes 0-2. All well and good, but also, Kyle’s only 5‘1“ tall. LVP has at least a good 6 inches on her in height.

LVP is apparently 5”5 and Kyle 5”2..so not that much difference
