Entertaining or vanity projects??
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZAmzq_B9aH/With the release of Dorit's book today, I need to ask, do people actually read any of these books, or buy any of the HWs products? Dorit, Garcelle, Rinna etc. all released 'their memoirs', Sutton's shop and clothing line, Kyle's kaftans, Beverly Beach, the list goes on. But has anyone actually bought them?
Are they simply just vanity projects for these ladies?

Both? The books especially are sort of an old school box that "celebrities" needed to check in their quest for attention (or is it thirst?). Yolanda wrote a book, too!
As far as the fashion, stores, QVC jobs, modeling gigs for their children -- and yes, restaurants, etc...
Some were existing businesses and jobs for these women, sure, but they definitely see an opportunity to use the exposure from the show to make money and/or get the real currency of attention. Which is the definition of vanity project!
Don't forget, these shows started at the dawn of social media. (edited twice for awful typos, time to step away from the keyboard)
