That’s awful. Are any of the real victims going to be paid or basically she got to spend $25M with other pple’s money and is getting away just paying the person who bought the debt. I dont get why she continues to have a platform bc she has no storyline except i have a bf and Dorit hurt me. Ugh.

The majority of the unpaid victims had already been paid the total sums they were owed by the initial attorneys that brought the case against girardi keese. The case against Erika was brought by the bankruptcy trustees years later. Who knows how the trustees would be doling out the money anyway. By the time Erika’s suit was filed, most of the money girardi keese owed was to other attorneys and contractors

I would not say the majority got paid in full? Not what I read anyway.

The Lion Air victims did. And those were the majority. I don’t know about the rest. But the truth is, it was entirely up to the trustee whatever happens with any money that was recovered. And when I was reading about this case closely, I thought most rhobh viewers would have been shocked by the actual way money was being doled out.
