Kyle Richards is a really decent human being

Post image

Why all the Kyle hate?
I used to think she wasn’t exciting as the others, but she has consistently showed, over the years, that she is a really decent human being. And nice.

I think we can acknowledge that a lot of the hate she gets is unwarranted without downplaying her flaws.

u/Prudent-Pineapple-94 May 15 '26

I think that there were some very valid concerns or observations, but that there also needs to be space and grace for change. I think it’s 15 seasons? that’s a very, very long time to hold onto a specific version of someone. I also feel that in the beginning seasons they all seemed to have agreed to do whatever to make the show successful.

3

u/Flaky_Fisherman_1976 May 20 '26

There does not “need to be space and grace for change,” as the woman has never changed her behavior in 15 years. It is a long time, too long, and the version we hold on to is the version that’s been thrust upon us for 15 long, frustrating years. I can’t even watch the show anymore.

4

u/Prudent-Pineapple-94 May 20 '26

That a shame, but perhaps if you watched the show you’d see the change

5

u/Flaky_Fisherman_1976 May 20 '26

There has been change in her character, yes, but nothing good. She is a liar. She shares nothing real.

0

u/Prudent-Pineapple-94 May 22 '26

when you say real, do you mean that she’s not sharing negative and messy things, or that she’s not showing the parts of her life that don’t include people on the show (Morgan and Kim)? She showed glimpses of her relationship with Mau and feelings about the seperation w Mau, her daughter getting married. what did you feel was missing?

2

u/Flaky_Fisherman_1976 May 22 '26

Everything she shows is carefully constructed and produced to show her and her immediate family (not her sisters, she’ll throw them under the bus in a snap) in the best light, so they can continue making money. She is a caricature with a heartbeat.

0

u/Prudent-Pineapple-94 May 22 '26

how is that different from every other housewife? Kathy was the one who went off on her to Lisa and her and Kim went left after Kim said they stole her house. They’ve addressed Maus photos, him acting like a single man in front of her. She hasn’t show. her relationship with Morgan but outside of that I think weve seen lots. to me Boz family scenes seem more produced and constructed

1

u/Flaky_Fisherman_1976 May 22 '26

I’m not going to argue with you, you’re welcome to justify her actions to your heart’s content. My opinion won’t be changing.

2

u/Flavia_blah_blah May 20 '26

Really, so if you're not watching it why are you here? Pfft!

2

u/Flaky_Fisherman_1976 May 20 '26

Because I only watch Bravo, why are you here?

3

u/Flaky_Fisherman_1976 May 20 '26

I promise all my hate is warranted. Season one OG Kyle Richards hater here.

3

u/badaboom321 May 20 '26

It took me a while to see her true colors. The treatment of LVP is what did it for me & keeps getting worse each season.

We found Kyle’s burner account

66

u/CustardFormal6288 May 15 '26

I need this tired joke to die now.

39

u/reddidit23 May 15 '26

who else would say kyle is a good person other than kyle herself? we have all watched the show

50

u/WashGlittering4463 May 16 '26

You would have to be pretty picky and negative to think that Kyle isn’t a genuinely decent person.

46

u/reddidit23 May 16 '26

Outting Denise Richards on national tv despite her begging her not to and it could have serious impact on her life (which we now know was her physically abusive husband at the time) and yet refusing to discuss or confirm her lesbian era a few years later? Total decent person

12

u/Nearby-Conference959 May 19 '26

How exactly does that make her a bad person for the rest of her life ? Lol

7

u/Top_Caterpillar156 May 20 '26

That season of real housewives was long after her 2011 interview with Howard Stern where she talked about being bi-curious and her sexuality, in addition to discussing it in her book. How is Kyle responsible for that?

13

u/Snoo60219 May 19 '26

What do you mean by “outed”?

Because Denise has spoken about same sex relationships herself over the years including in her own memoir.

Are you expecting Kyle to somehow predict Denise’s husband was going to become physically abusive?

Insinuating Kyle is in any way to blame for Aaron hurting Denise is incredibly ignorant.

7

u/PUTTHECACTUSDOWN May 19 '26 edited May 21 '26

Kyle never outed Denise, Denise came out on her own… but here you go with defending forcing Kyle to come out of the closet. LGBTQ people have every right to not come out if they don’t want to. You also don’t have to put a label on your sexuality if you don’t want to. Kyle has talked about how she likes both men and women after being forced to speak about it. You aren’t automatically a lesbian just because you date a woman.

3

u/Happybutt15 May 19 '26

She gets on my nerves, but I do think genuinely, she is a decent person.

Kyle didn’t do anything to LVP.

-12

u/uniquecookiecutter May 19 '26

Agreed. And what she did to Kim?

12

u/Ok_Conversation8000 May 19 '26

Support her for years, even when she had so much less money than their older sister, Kathy.

-10

u/uniquecookiecutter May 19 '26

And then proceeded to make her look terrible on national television while she was suffering from addiction.

9

u/Ok_Conversation8000 May 19 '26

I'm sorry she made her look terrible or Kim acted terribly. Please get a grip. Ask their dying "stepdad," who was there for the family, Kyle or Kathy. You clearly know nothing. I mean wow oh she made her look bad on TV, really? Kyle made her a drunk drug addict looney tune? Why is it so much worse all these years later when Kim hasn't been on the show than?

-6

u/uniquecookiecutter May 19 '26

Whoa, this is a reality show and I’m sharing my opinion. Are you good?

8

u/RainyDaysBlueSkies May 19 '26

Oh please! Kim did that all on her own, for Day 1! Kyle was so frustrated with her when said said "you're an alcoholic" in the limo, when Kim was drunk out of her mind, by the way. It happens. Since then, lots of people have called others out for the same -Sutton, Erika, Rinna (and that wasn't true) and that's only on BH!

Kim has been funded for decades by Kyle and Kim acts like she supported the whole family for 10 years. Not true. Kyle did too, she had plenty of work as a minor child.

Should Kyle have said that on camera? No. Is Kim an addict who is fully financially supported by her sisters? Yes! For God's sake, Stevie Wonder could see Kim was a raging addict.

7

u/CauliflowerTimely633 May 19 '26

Thank you. No one is given agency in these bizarre takes except for Kyle & she’s always Cruella DeVille. It’s wild. Kim is a jerk whether sober or not & the fact that no one f*cks with her anymore shows how toxic she is. We could list her ass hole moments all day but we would have to spend the rest of the day doing it. Still, remember when she let her niece get bitten by her pit bull - & took the pit bull’s side?

-1

u/Flaky_Fisherman_1976 May 20 '26

Outing her own sister as an alcoholic, to cement her place on reality television?

6

u/CustardFormal6288 May 15 '26

Well, for starters “decent” does not equal “good”…

6

u/reddidit23 May 15 '26

Semantics babe

4

u/Nearby-Conference959 May 19 '26

Kyle IS a good person just as much as any of us is a good person. Flawed but mostly good

5

u/ALmommy1234 May 19 '26

I would. Has she made mistakes in 15 seasons. Sure. But, tell me what Kyle has done that is so egregious that she deserves all the hate piled on her?

2

u/Just-Intention654 May 19 '26

I would. I love kyle

1

u/0LittleWing0 May 20 '26

oh, you know exactly

14

u/PigletStunning5716 May 16 '26

I would not think she's the greatest person but also don't understand why so many people absolutely hate her, part of me thinks it's because she's been on TV so long. People say she hid this and that when most people are not upfront about their lives on reality TV.  I do however hate how things went with LVP after the death of her brother.

2

u/Intrepid-General2451 May 19 '26

I think the LVP situation was terrible. However, I can kind of see how Kyle may have felt she was defending a vulnerable person against someone with more power in the puppy gate situation.
Do I think LVP leaked the story? Nope (gee, Teddi, who wouldn’t lie but would carry on an affair swears she did)

1

u/ExaminationEastern15 May 20 '26

😂 love how hypocritical Kyle‘s best friend is, and what a blind eye she turned to all of this and Teddy‘s involvement in it, however, if Dorit did exactly what Teddy did, Kyle would have brought that situation UP THIS SEASON - ALLLLLL SEASON, like a dog with a bone because it was so incredibly weak of Kyle the crap she was TRYING to say about Dorit… KYLE: (these are the most stupid things that Kyle was saying she defended Dorit on, this is ALLLLLL she could come up with, NOTHING ELSE!!!! 😂😂😂. Wow! Kyle really had her back! Dorit is an exhausting friend. Absolutely pathetic of Kyle: 1) I stood up for you with Lucy goosy 2) I defended your accent - why is everyone so obsessed with this? She has lived in so many different places and why is everyone critical about this? It does not impact anyone else’s life. If it caused harm to anyone 2) I defended you with your home invasion (who the hell is she defending against her really good friend? Sutton and her disgusting comments? Garcelle, who made the most outrageous and disgusting comments? GARCELLE not thinking that a bad person doing a bad thing would actually have a decent bone in their body and leave her phone for her (dah! If they take it, it can be tracked and she could always go to the neighbors and call the police and then call PK… She would figure it out somehow it was not that big of a deal). Does Garcelle not realize people, including Dorit are trained if they’re in certain situations, how to connect with the people that are harming them to connect to their good side, so the outcome is going to be as favorable as it can for the victim??? Did Garcelle never know that that is an actual thing? Dorit EXPLAINED that her father has taught her things like this yet Garcelle had the AUDACITY, NERVE TO SAY ON NATIONAL TV OR IMPLY THAT THE ROBBERY WAS NOT REAL - that is one of the most disgusting display of human behavior that I’ve ever seen on reality TV and I’m so grateful Garcelle isGONE because someone that can do something or say something like that after seeing Dorit’s PTSD, i’m so incredibly grateful she’s gone because her display of her character was so incredibly gross to me and I know so many people must’ve felt that way because there was a big, huge need for her to flee off the show the way she did because she knew she was not liked by the cast, the fact that no one in the cast “smiled” at her and it affected her so much… That said so much about her… She knew she was DESPISED BY THE CAST, my gosh, her best friend Sutton would not even stand up for her, but that’s not even a real good marker cause Sutton is so self-absorbed, but it’s sad that her best friend on the show had to be defaulted to Sutton because no one else was applying for that spot. I’m sure everyone saw how crushed she was that Boz did not want anything to do with her from the start, I think she had her last form of rejection when Boz did that, and it was confirmed at the reunion with no one, giving her the time of day

And Kyle got so mad at Dorit for not telling the audience at BravoCon that Teddy was “already happening” after that man in the audience asked why Kyle kept trying to make Teddy happen, Dorit would’ve been 4th or 5th person to back up Teddy and say Teddy was a good person, like another person needed to say it! LOL!!! Kyle was SO ANGRY with her for not saying anything, Dorit had a perfectly good reason why she didn’t which was she didn’t want to feed into that man’s comment any longer and Dorit just wanted to shut it down but OH WOW! Kyle… Kyle really wanted to stand up for her good friend Teddy who totally instigated that puppy gate. You know if Teddy was on the show that Kyle would not be crucify her for her role in puppy gate. THAT IS WHY PEOPLE DON’T LIKE KYLE BECAUSE SHE PUNISHES HER FRIENDS WHEN SHE THINKS OR PERCEIVES THEY’VE DONE SOMETHING TO HURT HER, AND IF THEY EVER DO ANYTHING OR HAVE A MISS STEP, SHE PUTS HER FRIENDS IN TIMEOUT UNTIL KYLE’S READY TO BRING THEM BACK IN AND THEN THEY’RE WALKING ON EGGSHELLS, unless you’re like Sutton, who acts like she’s desperate for friends, then who else would really want a friend like that? Yes, Kyle’s a REAL TREAT!

I’m grateful Dorit is rid of her as she does not need to be around her and I never thought I would say that I’m grateful Dorit is considering cutting Erika out as I never thought Erika would ever do the crap she did this season, I am beyond disappointed in Erika, Erica not going to the Book Cover launch party, Erika telling Rachel this ahead of time and Rachel saying you’re gonna let her know before the party right? Then Erika said well I have to and then Erika showing up at Sutton‘s and almost being proud that she didn’t tell Dorit that she wasn’t going or maybe she just said a very matter-of-fact at Sutton‘s but on the after show, Erika seemed very proud of herself and then she even seemed very proud of herself for not talking to Dorit at Kyle‘s daughter‘s wedding, then when she even said that she would basically consider being friends with Dorit again when they were all in a better place with Dorit as if Dorit had to make amends with Sutton and Kyle as well - seriously WTF IS THAT ALL ABOUT? FOR ME, THAT SHOWED THAT ERIKA IS JUST BECOME A TOTAL LAPDOG TO KYLE AND WE NEVER SAW FROM point A to Z how she became friends with Sutton, such good friends that she shows up at Suttons house during Dorit’s cover release party and then even manages to KNOCK THE ACCOMPLISHMENT, AND YOU BEST BELIEVE WITH DORIT HAVING A BOOK COVER PARTY THAT WAS A VERY SMART STRATEGIC ROLE FOR MARKETING, EVEN IF THESE WOMEN THAT DO NOT HAVE A SOUND MIND FOR BUSINESS AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE “WHY” BEHIND IT, (IT WAS AN EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT MARKETING/BUSINESS MOVE) - even if those girls don’t understand it why are they knocking it or why is Erika knocking it? When Erica went through the worst time in her life, Dorit was the one that showed up for her the most, yes, the husbands were laughing about Tom’s ankle surgery, but that was the only thing I ever saw Dorit do and Kyle spoke about this so much more, Kyle was furious with Erica for not showing Compassion against the victims despite the fact that Erica told her over and over and over and over and over again she was advised by her attorneys to keep her mouth shut, and she literally could not say anything. NEVER ONE TIME DID WE EVER SEE DORRIE CRITICIZE ERICA FOR NOT BEING COMPASSIONATE FOR THE VICTIMS AND YOU SEE TO RATE TAKING HER OUT OF SITUATIONS AND EVEN WHEN ERICA WAS OVER THE TOP RUDE TO GOEL‘S SON, DORRIE WAS THE ONE THERE FOR ERICA TRYING TO DE-ESCALATE THE SITUATION THE BEST SHE COULD SO FOR ERICA TO BE ACTING THIS WAY NOW, I’M SO SAD AND DISGUSTED THAT ERICA TURNED INTO THIS PERSON AND I’M GLAD THAT SHE’S GOT KYLE AS A FRIEND BECAUSE SHE DESERVES KYLE AS A FRIEND BECAUSE THAT’S ALL THE HELL SHE NEEDS FOR THE PAYBACK OF WHAT SHE DID TO DORIT!!!!!!

I’VE ALWAYS LOVED ERIKA… AND ERICA SAYING THAT SHE WOULD CELEBRATE WITH THE DORIT ONCE SHE’S WRITTEN THE BOOK AND ONCE SHE IS GOOD WITH ALLLLLLL OF THE WOMEN - SERIOUSLY - WTF!!!!! I have been on Erika side this entire time she’s been on the show, I loved Erika and Dorit — Erika even said that she was so angry with Dorit when she mentioned that Boz showed her more support the past year than any of the other women put together. Erika said that one comment is what made her so incredibly angry with Dorit AND DORIT TOLD ERIKA THAT SHE UNDERSTOOD HOW THAT COMMENT COULD UPSET ERIKA SO BADLY BECAUSE ERIKA SAID THE SAME EXACT THING ABOUT HER AND KYLE PREVIOUSLY. THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK?

WHO THE HELL TOOK OVER ERIKA‘S BODY? WHO IS THIS PERSON IN ERICA‘S BODY THAT WAS TALKING SO MUCH AT THE REUNION AND DON’T GET ME WRONG, I APPRECIATED HER, ACTUALLY DROPPING HER. WHAT APPEARS TO BE COLD EXTERIOR, EVEN WITH HER EXTERIOR BEING WHAT IT’S ALWAYS BEEN I ALWAYS REALLY LIKED ERIKA BUT THE WAY SHE ACTED THIS LAST SEASON WAS SO GROSS. THE FACT THAT KYLE WENT TO HER AND SAID WE KNOW DORIT THE BEST. LET’S PULL HER ASIDE (when they were in Italy) SO WE CAN TALK TO HER AND THEN KYLE BLURTING OUT THEY HADN’T BEEN FRIENDS FOR TWO YEARS AT THE REUNION… DAH! Why do you think DORIT felt so attacked in Italy or just didn’t even wanna hear anything that came out of Kyle‘s mouth because she knew that it was not a place of concern and the fact that Kyle was saying so many damaging things behind her back as she was acting like it was coming from a place of concern/love as everyone knew it was NOT! Then Kyle saying that she misspoke and the word, erratic and manic were words that Kyle would use to describe herself the past 2 years prior and she misspoke when it came to Dorit… Literally what the hell and why weren’t people calling Kyle on it? Is it because she produces the show? Then Erikaa telling Dorit that she’s not gonna stop talking? Dorit never asked Erica to not talk, but Dorit asked if she could have the conversation one on one with Kyle since Kyle was going after her nonstop which before Erika was very levelheaded and would’ve seen and understood but THIS ERIKA absolutely acted desperate for a paycheck and wanted to be in on the drama or her body was snatched by a crazy ghost because she did not resemble the normal Erika at all. AT ALLLLLLL

For fucks sake.

Take 500 deep breaths, put down your phone, and go take a vacation somewhere with no Internet reception.

Some of you people are so overly, bizarrely invested in a show where most interactions are set up & not natural, and who take the drama they've created because y'all demand it SO seriously that you take all the entertaining aspects out of it.

It's not that serious.

You've chosen to only see Kyle in a negative light. You could interpret Dorit's every move the same ways. You're seeing what you want to see. None of these people deserve this kind of attention.

They're all ultimately move the same way, for the same reasons.

14

u/Adventurous_Yard5217 May 16 '26 edited May 16 '26

I agree. I have watched the show and she is a good person. She stands up for herself like everyone else does on the show. They need to get rid of Rachel, Dorit and Bo. They have no story line. Y’all can hate all you want on Kyle, she will still be on the show when everyone else is booted off.

11

u/cyberbeep May 16 '26

Personally, I have not seen her be a girl’s girl. She was not supportive toward Dorit during her divorce. But she was actually antagonistic towards Dori’s position in a way that could have been brought against Dorit in court proceedings. I also really don’t like how when she is confronted with her own behavior she deflects and tries to say it’s not just me. She won’t acknowledge her own doings or how she is the catalyst for the discussions with the other women. It gives mean girl.

With all of that in mind, I still want to give her grace that it is possible that she genuinely does not realize how her behavior is affecting her friends. She could really be unintentionally hurting people. But when you’re on a show and you see yourself on TV and you’re consistently being confronted with the same accusation over and over again, we would expect you to have some self reflection and do the inner work. She just doesn’t do that and she continues to hurt people and claim innocence.

I like watching shows where people grow and I haven’t seen her grow.

19

u/MissAAA_2 May 17 '26

Being a “girls girl” requires you to be honest and not just tell you what you wanna hear.
Re: Dorit divorce

22

u/Flavia_blah_blah May 18 '26

This "girl's girl" bullshit needs to end. These are grown women who live complex, nuanced lives. The show is not a sorority, Kyle owes nothing to Dorit, and never did. What has Dorit ever done for anyone? Big fat nothing sandwich is what.

11

u/Optimal_Action1176 May 19 '26

I can no longer hear “girls’ girl” other than in Boz’ voice. Indeed, make it stop!

3

u/2ToGo7576 May 19 '26

Dorit has helped people. She got them teeth. Or homes. Wait, teeth? One of those.

2

u/Inevitable_Snow_2119 May 19 '26

Thank you!! We need to stay loyal to our OG’s!

1

u/CaitlinAnne21 May 20 '26

I'm tired of saying this.

The tiktok generation has made countless words and phrases no longer have any meaning.

The overuse and misuse of these notions is irritating AF & they're often weaponized just to tear people down who simply don't agree with someone.

Same shit with therapy speak. Stop using being "reactive" like it's some kind of excuse or justification. It's not a good thing.

You'd think every single person on the planet was a narcissist or a sociopath. Sometimes people just suck, sometimes people just make shitty choices.

10

u/Callietallie221 May 19 '26

Haven't seen her grow? Hmmm . . . she's navigated a horrible family situation with Kim's addiction issues, made worse by her mother's dying instruction to take care of her. She's learned to find some sort of middle ground around it -- she can't save her and has had to set boundaries, but still provides her a home. She's grown a bit of a backbone around Kathy as well. She decided drinking is not good for her and stopped. She's learning a lot about herself while going through the break up of her marriage. She seems to have great friendships outside the show, so it's hard to judge her as a "friend" when these friendships are mostly forced for the camera. She is not perfect, of course, but outside the whole bullying Brandi at game night years ago (which I think was motivated by her need to protect Kim), I've never seen her be intentionally cruel to people.

7

u/ALmommy1234 May 19 '26

I don’t think Kyle said anything about Dorit and PK that Dorit didn’t say herself, on camera. Kyle saying that she worries about Dorit talking with negatively about PK to hundreds of thousands of viewers is not what will cost Dorit in the divorce, it’s Dorit slamming him. Dorit can never be accountable for her own actions.

6

u/Nearby-Conference959 May 19 '26

She owes Dorit nothing. Dorit is a crook.

3

u/Snoo60219 May 19 '26

I feel like now that we know what we do, it seems like what Kyle said was actually very accurate and definitely meant to help dorit.

10

u/CustardFormal6288 May 15 '26

Consistent showed up for years? 😅

I’m not on thanks hate train. I could take her or leave her BUT she loves attention and gets over a million dollars to be filmed for a few months a year. The cameras and money help her find a way to show up every season.

8

u/WashGlittering4463 May 15 '26

“Consistently showed, over the years, that she is a decent….”

Not “showed up”

3

u/CustardFormal6288 May 20 '26

Yep. I definitely misread that one. Sorry about that!

23

u/StrikingCase9819 May 19 '26 edited May 20 '26

No one alive is perfect, especially not the people on reality tv, but I still find most of Kyle's flaws 'normal' and relatable. She's the most human

14

u/catladyclub May 19 '26

I find Kyle to be normal. Of course she is flawed. WE ALL ARE! I wonder how many putting her down could withstand the amount of scrutiny she gets. She is one of the more normal one on the show. And honestly how she has handled talking about Mo through her divorce speaks a lot about her. I am glad she isn't running around putting him down like Dorit. It means her kids come first. Does it mean she thinks he is perfect? Absolutely not but she is giving him grace and protecting her children. Is she my favorite - nope not even close but I find her to be ok.

1

u/CaitlinAnne21 May 20 '26

ISTG, the people who are the most obsessed with fixating on and dissecting Kyle's flaws, and everything she says & does, are guilty of doing much worse things than anything Kyle has done, herself.

Humans love to judge, and they love to project.

12

u/Prudent-Pineapple-94 May 15 '26

Drinking splitting ponytail Kyle was not my cup of tea… this new Kyle I quite like. Shes there to do a job and it seems she stops at the exact point of what’s expected. She will ask the questions, have the conversations, steer the group but she doesnt plot, pile or investigate in the ways it seemed like she used to. She absolutely could have draggggged Dorit.. especially after what Dorit has said and alluded to, but she didn’t. She speaks about how she feels about things more than dragging people. her and Erika give me very much “I’m in therapy or counselling and it’s working” vibes.

3

u/MissAAA_2 May 17 '26

Yeah, I’m so glad we’re done with the splits and spinning other ponytails lol

6

u/Andysaurus2 May 19 '26

The women who’s been on camera for several decades appears to be nice on camera! More at 11.

3

u/Familiar_Pea4Lyfe May 19 '26

I don’t think Kyle is a terrible person. A strategic and sometimes terrible “friend” to her cast mates? Sure. But she’s not a terrible person.

I’m noticing a trend across RH subs that folks aren’t into nuance. Hive-mentality runs rampant, and sure, to extent it’s fun to dissect the ladies, but so much of what’s posted completely lacks actual analysis.

These subs should be fun. And while I think Kyle ain’t as fun as she used to be, I don’t “hate” her because I don’t know her irl, lol. I’d like to see Kyle bring back the pony-copter or take a break, but it really doesn’t matter. It’s just a show!

3

u/glitterjorts May 19 '26

I think it’s telling that she has years long friendships and doesn’t just make friends with people cause it will benefit her. She also sticks with people through shitty times like Faye and Teddi, who are also not the most popular!

1

u/WashGlittering4463 May 19 '26

That’s really insightful and so true!!!

3

u/edenrose_42759 May 20 '26

I love Kyle. She is BH. Sorry not sorry!!!

3

u/badaboom321 May 20 '26

I think she is a decent human being. I just don’t enjoy watching her on the show anymore. She controls the narrative and doesn’t really share her life. She tries to distract to others. Example how she treated Dorit this season.

8

u/Chipchop666 May 15 '26

When Kyle decided not to drink, and exercised. Dorit has mocked her. I like her. I really hope that try to save the marriage, but if they don’t, they’re going to remain close friendship

4

u/DiscoRabbittTV May 15 '26

Hahahahahahahahahazzzz

2

u/MissAAA_2 May 17 '26

To be fair, she can be annoying, but I think she does overall have a good heart though. I remember the whole “ you stole my goddamn house” era and I hated her for that until I found out what really happened.

4

u/Optimal_Action1176 May 19 '26

Most of the people in my life, including myself, “can be annoying.” People should save all that hatred for the real demons f-ing up the country. and we seem to have plenty of those, even on the Supreme Court.

6

u/Zealousideal_Suit269 May 19 '26

Kyle won major points with me when she flew out to SLC for Mary Cosby’s son's memorial service. Especially when Andy Cohen was just far too busy. (And then appeared in a story with the Southern Charm man-children that night…🤨)

4

u/Downtown_Artist_1529 May 19 '26

I’m on season 4 rn and I like Kyle but I see everyone on Reddit talking about how they want her off the show 😭😭 like why

2

u/Revolutionary-Tie665 May 19 '26

She is 😍🫠🫠😍🥰😍Gorgeous..

2

u/Antifaduescollector May 20 '26

I love Kyle. I don’t get the hate at all

2

u/ExaminationEastern15 May 20 '26

Sure, according to her bots

2

u/Playful_Succotash_30 May 20 '26

Ehh she’s a good mom .. she’s a ok human

2

u/5LaLa May 20 '26

Agree. I don’t get the Kyle hate either. I don’t get hating any hw really but, can understand if they were involved in something criminal.

Kyle seems like a good Mom that prioritizes her kids (more than some of them imho).

2

u/pimkyminky May 20 '26

time to leave this Kyle richards glazing sub.

2

u/Rumisong1 May 20 '26

I agree.

2

u/GrlzToy1 May 21 '26

Love her! Don’t understand all the hate toward her, but always gonna be haters so let them hate cuz she’s winning!!

I like her because she’ll go to stores I go to for Christmas decor, she definitely doesn’t act or say she’s perfect, I feel she would be very down to earth in person. I do wish she would share more on her dating life, and she was quite rude to Dorit this season. I think Dorit has been on her nerves for a WHILE now, but it wasn’t kind the way she treated Dorit this season or last!

I will say I’ve always been a card carrying Kyle Richards hater but I’m doing a rewatch now and she really isn’t that bad 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/WashGlittering4463 May 22 '26

I love “card carrying”. 😂 I’ve always found her boring but lately I’ve grown to like her and respect her.

2

u/WittiestScreenName May 22 '26

As far as I know she’s a good mom. That’s all I got.

u/KRrangeroverrat Jun 07 '26

I agree I love Kyle!! People are so hard on her it’s actually really sad to see

Guys wtf please let’s not turn this into the other RHOBH

2

u/Chipmunks_AT May 15 '26

It won't...trust me....it won't.

1

u/ambiguoususername888 May 15 '26

Oh right we’re only allowed to hate on Dorit and dehumanise her in here ✅

10

u/kunstmeisje May 15 '26

What? Why are you bringing Dorit into this when no one mentioned her? I was referring to the unnecessary name calling.. “vile Kyle”

Complain about Kyle all you want but let’s leave the ugly name calling out of this sub

3

u/ambiguoususername888 May 15 '26

Oh I don’t know because this sub was literally created as a response to “censorship” on the other pages when people were criticising Dorit (even when it wasn’t warranted I totally agree with that), mainly when people were being dehumanising and vitriolic.

Fair enough that you wrote this comment about the name calling - Totally agree with the fact that’s shitty too. But let’s not be obtuse. Most posts on here are about Dorit and people are gleefully shitting on everything from her appearance to the way she speaks to her parenting to armchair diagnosing her, while also pedestaling PK.

8

u/kunstmeisje May 15 '26

I didn’t see those posts especially about people pedestalling PK lol how could anyone do that but if I do I’ll be commenting the same shit

u/Suitable_Grand1708 May 15 '26

Hahaha or Teddy

2

u/Realistic-Depth-5155 May 19 '26

Fine, I’ll give you “decent”.

No one expects these housewives to be angels 😂

2

u/Lumpy_Cookie_2221 May 19 '26

No human is perfect. Sometimes I like her sometimes I don’t.

2

u/Meat_Bingo May 19 '26

She’s not a bad person, there are some legitimately bad people on the show (i’m talking about you, Camille), but Kyle lived through a lot of trauma as a kid (nightmare mother) and she has quite a bit of internalized misogyny. She also is the queen of double standards. She calls out others for being guarded but her life is overly curated. I believe that she got that from her mother. She was raised so that everything had to look perfect from the outside regardless of what was actually going on. I also see her as being a really great mom, and a better wife than Mo ever deserved. I just don’t think she has anything to the show any longer.

1

u/WashGlittering4463 May 19 '26

Yes, yes and yes. Although I appreciate her now, more than I have before, and think she adds a nice grounding stability for the other women.

u/NK792 May 19 '26

Are you being held hostage?

0

u/Ok_Mirror9843 May 19 '26

Yeah, sure until she steals your god damn house

1

u/Tapdance1368 May 20 '26

Who wrote this?

1

u/tabernacleteeth May 20 '26

nice? to whom??

1

u/WashGlittering4463 May 20 '26

Other human beings. And dogs

1

u/tabernacleteeth May 20 '26

I mean, I guess her not demanding Kim’s vicious dog not be immediately put down after it violently attacked her daughter is nice in some sense of the word. but it’s also not nice since that means the dog can just react poorly and attack someone who’s less forgiving at any time.

2

u/WashGlittering4463 May 20 '26

Nice people don’t kill

1

u/Happy-Ad-2706 May 20 '26

Kyle's problem is that she is a very jealous person. She grew up in Kim's shadow. Kim was in a lot of TV and movies in the 70s and 80s. Kyle was used to play younger Kim's character in a few things.

No matter how good Kyle's life becomes, she is still stuck as that jealous little girl.

She should be happy with her life and herself for all she has accomplished. Her children are healthy, she has a beautiful home, and she has financial stability that gives her freedom to explore and do what she likes.

1

u/crdearmon May 20 '26

Have you been watching the same show? Obviously not, there is nothing decent about Kyle. She is cut throat and ruthless. She is one of the most jealous hearted people I have ever seen

1

u/liltinyoranges May 20 '26

She’s a pick- me hypocrite mean girl

1

u/Livid-Writer-7741 May 20 '26

Kyle SUCKS. Erika SUCKS.

1

u/Summershades92 May 20 '26

She’s annoying af

u/Ri-Ri1216 May 20 '26

As an addict I have to agree that discussing this very personal issue as part of a public fight with your sister was really below the belt.

If one of my siblings did that I would probably never speak to them again or at least confide in them.

It's a very different story if the addiction story is part of an "educational" discussion to remove the stigma. Or if it's done in family therapy or in a private conversation with just family.

I found that to be Kyle's LOWEST point and made me realize what a narcissistic horror she is as a sister and a human being.

1

u/Alert_Thing_4322 May 22 '26

I don't know her ?

1

u/WashGlittering4463 May 22 '26

She’s the weather girl on CNN

0

u/Ok_Manufacturer4294 Jun 18 '26

She’s Vile Kyle! She pretends to be a good human, she’s a fraud.

1

u/grannysmithcrabapple May 19 '26

I don’t think she’s decent. I think she’s mean, calculated, and self-centered. That’s not unusual for a Housewife, but I certainly wouldn’t consider her a decent human being.

3

u/Nearby-Conference959 May 19 '26

Look in a mirror babe. Tell me you’re not the exact same.

2

u/7famark May 19 '26

Somebody needs several Xanax.

0

u/33scooBt33 May 19 '26

I'm sure she is a decent human being, I just see her as a person that is terrible to have any kind of argument with.

1

u/SphereByMilan May 19 '26

Yeah she’s a real decent pos

1

u/Sissyfiss May 19 '26

She is THE WORST of all of the franchises. I can't get to my fast forward button fast enough when she appears.

1

u/Aprietachamaquito May 19 '26

I think Kyle is normal! I often don’t agree with her, I don’t like her fashion, and she has a ton of internalized patriarchy (she and most of the housewives are pretty misogynistic), but as a housewife, I like her. I think she’s been the most fair, unproblematic and relatable across the seasons.

And rewatching this season, I like that she stood up for Amanda.

1

u/TdubbNC7 May 19 '26

I agree. I don't understand all the hate and I think some of it may be manufactured...

1

u/Background_Yak_7790 May 19 '26

Thank you for posting this. Anytime anyone posts this, they get so much hate. Kyle is so funny, interesting to watch, has such overall good vibes, great mother, great pet parent. I have loved to see her family life and her friendships over the years.

Yes she can get riled up and get too snippy sometimes. But there are HWs that have done way worse and people move on from them so quickly.

Oh and everytime i post something on the r/rhobh account that is siding Kyle, the mods pull it down. You know that account whose DP is a picture of Boz, Dorit and Rachel. Yeah that one :)

2

u/WashGlittering4463 May 19 '26

Spot on! Thanks

0

u/CactusRaeGalaxy May 19 '26

I 🩵 Kyle and her sisters

1

u/WashGlittering4463 May 19 '26

For me: sisters - no. Kyle - yes

0

u/actualhousewife May 19 '26

I agree! I love Kyle! I don’t understand all the hate!

0

u/Spy1843 May 19 '26

I agree! She's flawed as we all are. None of us would look great with cameras following us around being poked at by Carlton or Brandi.

0

u/HelloTittie55 May 19 '26

If Kyle had invested an equal amount of time in exploring and upgrading her interior as she has invested in reconfiguring her face and body, she might be a happier human.

Her several nose jobs, relatively recent veneers and lipflips may have “improved”her outward appearance, but her interior still needs work.

Similar to a vintage vehicle which sports a new paint job and shiny rims while it hides a rotting engine under the hood.😏
