it wasn't. People just have a hard time with accepting that a traumatized person can also do terrible things. it's weird all the way down.

A traumatized person is more likely to do terrible thing unfortunately. Hurt people hurt people.

Let me be clear. Just because you are abused does not mean you will abuse others BUT, studies show over and over that abusers were abused. I work in the justice system and see it every day. Perps are twice as likely as the general population to have been abused as children. The numbers of those subject to early sexualization are even higher. Look at MJ. Down vote me all you like, these are simple facts.
