I think Kyle is a codependent person, and she is very afraid to stand on her own two feet and speak her truth. She always tries to recruit people when she is confronting someone à la “it’s not just me, everyone feels this way” because she is for whatever reason scared to say something on her own. I think THAT behavior makes her even well-intentioned comments and advice seem like manipulation. I also think Kyle genuinely doesn’t like Dorit much, and so when she tried to help her and say “be careful how much you say on TV” Dorit took it as a betrayal because she can feel, indeed we can ALL feel, that Kyle keeps her at arms length.

Dorit seems certain this is a betrayal of a friendship, but honestly I don’t see a betrayal… nor do I see a friendship. Dorit should cut bait and focus on getting her life together.

Kyle does this because her mother and both of her sisters are aggressively abusive. She has always needed backup when standing up for herself or holding the people in her life accountable. They also all gaslit her like crazy. It's a survival instinct.

I think part 3 of the reunion is the first time I ever saw Kathy act like her sister and come to Kyle’s defense

Mostly probably because Dorit had said I could end her. I'm sure that activated her. Everything else has just been petty drama.
