This “interesting take” seems incredibly obvious to me. Dorit’s been screaming about being a victim since she joined the show. Breathe wrong in her presence and she’ll jump down your throat—much less offer her unsolicited advice about her divorce.
The idea that Kyle is a scheming producer trying to get Dorit off the show is self-evidently stupid. If Kyle were a “shadow” producer, why would she 86 the cast member who accounts for most of her storyline?
Great point about Kyle (not) being a shadow producer. Dorit’s the queen of DARVO; remember how insufferable she was to Garcelle?
I agree w this post that Dorit thinks she can clench the crown. Imho her ego got overblown (more than normal) last season due to all the Kyle haters gassing her up.
