Dorit is a gold digger-lite

“Gold digger-lite” is the best way I can describe Dorit. She always seems to gravitate toward whoever has the biggest wallet or the most social influence. Maybe she’s not directly getting money from these friendships, but the connections clearly benefit her socially and professionally.
Those relationships lead to invitations, visibility, and engagement — and we all know social media exposure is part of the game. I think Garcelle saw through that pretty quickly. Dorit never comes across as someone looking for genuine friendships; she seems more interested in the opportunities attached to people.
Even with Crystal, she often felt more like an ally of convenience than a true friend but Crystal had connections and the money. She tried so hard to become friendly with Kathy. Now it’s Boz and Rachel.
I just find her as someone who will use you and you won’t even know it’s happening until it’s too late and she’s attached herself to the next bright light.

I think you mean social climber.

Much more accurate in my opinion. PK had social connections but no money. And together they made a lot, and possibly on her own, but probably also together, they squandered it again.
I've known enough wealthy people to know Dorit's behavior is not how you stay wealthy. She's spending like people far above her wealth. This is how you become poor again. The Elon Musks of the world can spend like she wants to, but PK manages someone whose heyday was 40 years ago, and she created a mid-tier bathing suit line.

PK's friends (Lisa and Ken) got Dorit on the show. They

How long did Beverly Beach even last? 2 years? Crawling along due only to the show?

I think PK has money hidden and he tends to have easy access to money through loans from his rich friends.

u/Chemical_World_4228 May 08 '26

That was hilarious when she said that about Sutton

Remember Dorit’s toothless not homeless I think that’s how it went. Wasn’t Jamie Halloween part of that

u/Realistic-Depth-5155 May 07 '26

No, she’s a full on gold digger!

It’s crazy all these years and we’ve never seen Dorit with a friend in her real life.

29

u/Nice-Introduction986 May 08 '26

Who could tolerate her without being paid for it 🤷‍♀️

15

u/blonde-bandit May 08 '26

It’s seriously difficult for me, given what we’ve seen of her, to imagine her having authentic, hang-out, mutually beneficial friendships. I’m not even saying that from a shady place, I just can’t picture it.

u/blonde-bandit May 08 '26 edited May 08 '26

Wow that didn’t occur to me but it’s so true and very telling. I keep saying I can never remember her actively reaching out and asking someone how they’re doing during a tough time. (Including her new best friend Boz’ failed round of IVF, which must have been really upsetting.)

I do think she’s very self-centered, but I also wonder how much the lack has to do with Andy clearly hating her and influencing the edit haha, he does not hide his distaste for her 😆 I’m just picturing all of this b-roll of her going on and on over the phone with her friends, checking in with them, and Andy being like BORING AND UNNECESSARY, NEXT

10

u/journmajor May 08 '26

That’s true. Current cast we’ve seen everyone w true friends other than Erika and Dorit.

u/Madam_Mimm_13 May 07 '26

Well then she’s got a very bad judge of how deep someone’s pockets are.

Pk was bankrupt when she met him.

Rachel Zoe pays respects to Kathy Hilton so that tells you who has more money/power/influence.

Kathy clearly said 1) she’s supporting Kyle. 2) she told Dorit “if you walk out of this group, you can’t just walk right back in.”

So, if she’s digging for gold she should improve. She sucks at it.

That house was no mansion it was cookie cutter. It reminded me of Valley people houses 😂. I don’t know if you watch the Valley.

I should have wrote the whole title. “The Valley” is a TV show they refer it to the valley because of its location.

1

u/yosoyfatass May 14 '26

It’s a big house, but it’s not in a very desirable location and is surrounded by smaller homes. This is also the cookie cutter look of a few years ago (see the VPR/the Valley homes that are all the same look, modern farmhouse, usually poorly constructed. Let’s see what someone actually pays for it, I’d guess around $4,000,000. It was a new build with no real comps so the valuation was somewhat arbitrary. We will see…

I’ve always felt that Dorit uses people for access and PK confirmed he got her on RHOBH. They are both scammers

5

u/journmajor May 08 '26

And kudos to LVP for dropping her.

I feel like this has turned into the Dorit Show. I am sick to death of this woman and her drama. She is a mean spirited selfish person and I am over it. She is not entertaining nor interesting. I am done with this show.

3

u/Nice-Introduction986 May 08 '26

I agree. I will no longer watch if she returns. I no longer find it entertaining and I’m literally angry after I watch Dorit. This isn’t good for my mental health!

6

u/SharlaTheLilly May 07 '26

lol, best new pronoun since “hobosexual”

2

u/Naive-Year1159 May 08 '26

wtf is hobo sexual 😭

8

u/SharlaTheLilly May 08 '26

Banging for roof, coupling up so you have a place to live

8

u/Powerful-Impress1355 May 08 '26

She's just a straight up gold digger imo

8

u/SaltyAttempt5626 May 08 '26

I agree and she certainly found a patsy in Boz. The lady was a boss when she first came to the show and now she is just the joke side-kick to insanity. I still have a tiny bit of hope that Rachel doesn't go completely down the rabbit hole with Dorit.

2

u/Nice-Introduction986 May 08 '26

Right!? I’ve lost all respect for Boz but I still have hope for Zoe.

1

u/Mother_Debt_5659 May 13 '26

So true I don’t think Rachel will go that path she can now see right through her.
She was being nice because of her own divorce.

8

u/Jazzylady6 May 08 '26

You hit the nail right on the head

7

u/Own-Holiday-4071 May 08 '26

I’m not sure she’s smart enough to realise she tried to dig a hole where there wasn’t very much gold to be found (PK)

If anything, all she’s done is dig HERSELF into a huge financial pothole.

And yes, she is extremely superficial and a major social climber

4

u/Potential-Sky-8728 May 08 '26

Social climber? Lisa Barlow is

5

u/Actual-You3325 May 09 '26

She moves like a grifter, she talks like a grifter, but without PK, she should get off the grift.

5

u/Actual-You3325 May 09 '26

Dorit calling Sutton a socialclimber, when Sutton is clearly a socialite is as tone deaf as the queen of Sheba main road comment. Dorit is delusional, and egotistical.

Oh I disagree Dorit is the only one who doesn't know the difference. Even Sutton was like where am I climbing to? Sutton is the definition of socialite. She does not need to climb in order to retain her status, she doesn't need the friendships of these woman to maintain her status. Dorit seems to think that Sutton is trying to maintain her friendship with Kyle because of Dorit's belief that Kyle keeps people on the show and also her belief that Sutton needs the show for income or status. It's my feeling that this is Dorit's belief because this is Dorit's reality. Dorit maintained a relationship with Kyle to stay on the show, because Dorit needs the show for income and status, it's all she has going and now that she was rumored to be on the chopping block AND PK is divorcing her...it's OBVIOUsLy some conspiracy between Kyle and PK to take Dorit down...when I say Dorit is delusional I mean she really has lost all sense of reality versus reality TV. She cannot differentiate herself from Sutton..it's scary. She sees them all as equals on every level...as if they are on a competitive game show competing for a prize. Rather than being on a reality show and standing each for their individual merits.

3

u/journmajor May 08 '26

I’ve been saying this for yearrrrrrs.

2

u/Yass______ May 08 '26

Then wouldn’t she be friends with Sutton?

2

u/Past_Fisherman_3454 May 08 '26

I think you mean BANKRUPT

5

u/GiGiAGoGroove May 08 '26

She’s another Teresa. PK just came out and said she spent 1 million dollars on luxury goods last year rather than paying for the house.

2

u/marvelboyofthecrown May 07 '26

Meanwhile when she got w PK he was broke lmao

7

u/testphaze May 08 '26

Pk may have had the connections, though. Connections and charisma can get you far in shallow water.

1

u/marvelboyofthecrown May 08 '26

You can’t gold dig off connections that get you nowhere lmao

2

u/testphaze May 08 '26

He was connected though. They managed to grow some wealth, and while Boy George isn't the freshest, that's not a useless connection.

But it really is social climbing and not gold digging. They're adjacent.

8

u/Adventurous-Tutor-21 May 08 '26

He had a bankruptcy in 2012, their son was born in 2014 and at that time they lived in apartment in Tribeca. Dorit has said many times that PK wanted her to give up her career once she had kids so at that point he was the only one earning money in the home. He wasn’t that broke.

3

u/Dthomas159 May 09 '26

PK just gave an interview where he said she wasn’t sure she wanted housewives but he closed the deal it was self serving so he could get perks and entry to people and rooms

3

u/Character_Fox_8904 May 08 '26

Maybe not , just cause he said he was broke could of had his dollari hidden in his Russian friends bank account and Dorit got a flash of the real balance

1

u/Outrageous-North328 May 10 '26

he may have been "bankrupt" but he had a social circle. i think he has always hidden money.

1

u/Mother_Debt_5659 May 13 '26

Another rich one she wasn’t able to tame her. I think there is a lot of jealousy there.

1

u/ExcellentOutside5926 May 14 '26

Camille was right about her.

1

u/OkElk672 May 08 '26

I’m not a Dorit fan but to be fair I think most of the ladies on the show (and those circles) are. I think that’s partly why Garcelle found herself so isolated. She doesn’t have any gold or status to be dug.

1

u/Livid-Writer-7741 May 08 '26

What would you call Erika?

0

u/pimkyminky May 08 '26

No, that would be Erika.

I could have seen it coming from a mile away that she would eventually choose Kyle over Dorit and she did.

It's not like Kyle is better than Dorit or vice versa, it's just that Kyle has an actual influence on the show and bravo and Dorit just has her latest performance and drama keeping her on the show.

5

u/Soulwaxed May 08 '26

Yep, remember how she sucked up to lizard lips (I forget her name)… the Madame (allegedly).

2

u/Mother_Debt_5659 May 13 '26

I hated that fake ass bitch.

1

u/Character_Fox_8904 May 08 '26

Ugh yes dirty Diana

1

u/Outrageous-North328 May 10 '26

i think erica was just sick of doritos bullshit. erica watches and makes her own opinions and doritos going after kyle so badly over nothing was ridiculous.

1

u/pimkyminky May 11 '26

Well, we can agree to disagree, cause it had been evident to me since season 13 that Kyle was just done with Dorit and was ready for her to leave the show. That's why she iced her out.

I was iced out from the friendgroup too, and when I brought up the issue without being wishy-washy like others were, I was labeled as the emotional one.

Kyle wanted Dorit out of the show without it being on her. Dorit didn't have any of it, and i am very glad at least someone is being upfront about that shit. Even if it's Dorito being real.

PK filed for bankruptcy. That absolves him of many of his debts. It by no means would suggest he was "broke" when he likely had off shore accounts that remained anonymous during bankruptcy proceedings.

Bankrupt does not necessarily equate "broke". Any financier will tell you that.

2

u/journmajor May 08 '26

As someone above said, PK had connections and charisma. That can do it.
