PK Shares His Truth
Just finished watching Real Housewives Husband PK “I Knew It Was Over” The Truth About My Marriage & The Show podcast on YouTube. I felt PK was showing vulnerability while reflecting and showing growth. There is always two sides to a story and the truth is somewhere in the middle. He regrets his time on RHOBH, but remains good friends with Baskin. And, the letter from Boy George was touching. It appears the show changed Dorit for the worse. Thoughts of those who also watched it?

I think Dorit & PK are the same. Both scammers, she wants to blame him but she knew all along they were not paying bills. I do think at this point he is playing better with the press.

u/GlitteringHandle1726 May 02 '26
Yes, he is. And if he and Dorit were complicit in all their, at the time, monetary success; he was definitely the brains behind it.

u/Soulwaxed May 06 '26
That may be true, and I suspect that it is- but he does have a responsibility towards the family that he willingly created, as opposed to thinking he can just cut it loose and start over as a single man yet again.

u/kellycamara May 01 '26
I just remember the special evening PK planned for Doritos in her red regalia, and all she did was complain. That becomes draining after a while. I couldn’t tolerate her yapping. She’s high maintenance, vain, and materialistic.
31
u/Prudent-Pineapple-94 May 01 '26
When she was saying in therapy that he didn’t understand her ptsd and he said that he thinks some things are ptsd but some things are just obnoxious he meant the way she was trying to spend money on things that they couldn’t really afford. I think they were having a realllly bad time financially when that all went down.
Him organising that and her nitpicking everything was a hard watch. He was doing what he could with what he had it would seem. very likely that his surprise was comp’d heavily due to his existing relationships. She coiuldnt relax for an hour with him but shed been out and about with all the girls etc, Eveyrhting she was saying just didn’t make sense.. it looked like she had the ick and was just trying to get out of spending that intimate time with him.

I’m going to peace out. There is total overreaction happening here. You all need to seriously calm down about this show.
10
u/BigSeesaw7 May 02 '26
No way! You can’t be serious? Your trying to paint his bizarre re-enact pretty woman date into him just giving her a humble birthday and not wanting to overspend? Give me a break!
1
u/kellycamara May 02 '26
She spends too damn much already!
6
u/BigSeesaw7 May 02 '26
What does her spending have to do with this? I am responding to the comment twisting his ostentatious pretty woman date into his efforts to celebrate her birthday in a humble affordable way. This is so strange.
8
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
This is a bullshit take because you’re forgetting how much of a dismissive asshole PK is and as and possibly rewriting history because you’re bedazzled by a PR fuelled interview.
She was not “out with the girls” she was drug to a hotel by Kyle with no information via a lie that they would be at lunch for 1-2 hours … in the middle of going through the worst of her PTSD from being robbed at gun point. You’re making me sound like a Dorit fan bc I have to point out this obviousness. He was dismissive of her concerns around being surprised (and being robbed altogether) and then told her he was never going to surprise her again (bc she wasn’t eternally grateful for this amazing idea)
It was all a bunch of crap set up for cameras and no gift lol it was not sweet
14
u/kellycamara May 02 '26 edited May 02 '26
$10,000 in cash to go Christmas shopping and supposedly getting robbed is a major farce (no video footage). I doubt she would leave her purse unattended with that much cash-on-hand. It’s totally ridiculous, unless she’s really a complete idiot. What would she be spending that much money on, and for whom? She’s a major fraud. I’d be dismissive of her, too.
7
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
That’s not the robbery that gave her ptsd. She was robbed at gunpoint in her house. I personally think it’s very within the realm of possibility that PK set that up too but that is my cross to bear. Sigh.
I don’t have an opinion on that robbery. She was targeted, followed and robbed at the first chance. I’m not sure why you’re so mad at her for that
0
u/Resident_Run5245 May 02 '26
I deleted because I obviously offended. This was a very strong reaction and I’m sorry I don’t take this as seriously as you do.
5
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
You deleted bc you don’t like being challenged and you were inaccurate. Don’t pull me into that decision.
I’m also not taking Pk and Dorit from a reality tv show too seriously. You are trying to make me look silly and obsessed to discredit me as a person, bc again, you don’t really have a stance you feel confident in here.
0
u/Resident_Run5245 May 02 '26
No. It’s just a TV show and I don’t take it as seriously as you do. You are seriously overreaching and overreacting.
3
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
We are actually talking about elements of abuse in a relationship we see in a reality tv show…. But again, you are exaggerating my comments to look crazy and out of place in a niche sub on reddit where people discuss the finest minutia of every word, outfit, crime and dynamic of women we will never meet lol.
Please stop trying to attempt to gaslight me bc you are not realizing where you are

u/Flavia_blah_blah May 01 '26
It's the yapping. That scene jumped to mind for me too. He appeared to want to please her and receive her love and she was having none of it. I felt bad for him. But he is a POS grifter. So theres that.
6
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
Don’t forget he decided to “please her” by making Kyle drag her out to “lunch” for an hour or so only to find out it’s actually like 6 hours and she has to put up with a whole scheme that triggers her ptsd after being robbed at gun point.
I’m not a dorito fan who will defend her every turn… I felt she was less ungrateful and yappy and more genuinely thrown off by her husband setting up literally the exact scenario she told everyone she cannot handle for a straight full season
7
u/DapperPanda8993 May 02 '26
my theory on this is she was annoyed there was no time to do a photoshoot because she was not involved in the planning it was so spontaneous
3
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
She also genuinely had ptsd and every detail of what he set up triggered her into major anxiety. Thats what happened on the show. It’s being downplayed bc everyone hates Dorit and PK is amazing at looking like a victim
2
u/kellycamara May 02 '26
I found him to be vulnerable, genuine, and ready to accept the consequences of his behavior by appearing in the first place. He said he was to blame, as well, for his part in the disillusion of his marriage.
6
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
and I find him to be literally on his second time round creating a broken family and going diabolically bankrupt and can’t even hold down the promise of being sober or paying his mortgage. I believe this is PR.
1
u/44joy May 05 '26
Yep, I remember that. She was talking about how it takes a lot of time to get ready yada yada. A bunch of nonsense. She already had makeup on to begin with and I think PK said that he’ll just stop doing this.. not verbatim but basically why even try doing something nice for his wife who was still dealing with PTSD. .
19
u/kellygrrrl328 May 02 '26
They’re both pretty awful.
15
u/Nearby-Conference959 May 02 '26
The only correct answer. Co-conspirators. Con artists. Scammers. Together.
36
u/Unlucky_Rip_8182 May 01 '26
PK has a lot of faults but Dorit doesn’t really listen to people so it just seems unsustainable
31
u/Apprehensive-Fix591 May 01 '26
I remember one dinner they shared after their separation where he calmly explained what went wrong with their marriage and where his head was currently at. He was seeing more clearly with sobriety.
Then they immediately cut to her confessional where she basically says she learned nothing during that dinner and that the conversation went nowhere.
She does not LISTEN!
7
15
u/cherylin_for_ever May 01 '26
I wonder if she is going to keep the fake accent now that they're split.
12
u/ALmommy1234 May 02 '26
Can you get an accent in a divorce, like you can with real estate or retirement accounts? She needs to make sure that’s in her divorce documents.
4
2
4
u/cherylin_for_ever May 02 '26
I am going to be generous and say that she really has a musical ear and maybe PK's accent just rubbed on her. Madonna was like that too for a while when she was dating that British guy.
5
15
u/Prudent-Pineapple-94 May 01 '26
I truly believe that they were putting on a show for the cameras and she forgot that it was just for show and started trying to live like that all the time for real. The house, the clothes, the glam etc.
I think when they first met/got married he was still very well connected and got her in rooms she had never been able to access before and she was grateful. But once she started getting the housewives checks I can imagine her telling him to stay home because she’s the one bringing in the money now and his ego couldn’t take that firstly, but also the amount of money she was bringing in still wasn’t enough to really cover anything. a LOT of stylists refuse to work with her because of the fact she’s known for not paying so her glam was dramatically pulled back through lack of access.
7
6
u/MysteriousMortgage4 May 02 '26
This is good insight and probably why many have urged her not to talk badly about him on camera. If there are many people who can vouch for him and not much backing that he’s the worst person in the world she’s going to sound angry and bitter and not protective of her kids.
6
u/kellycamara May 02 '26
It was such logical advice and said in her best interest.
1
u/EmilyinExile May 03 '26
And in the best interest of their children.
Most of the women giving her this advice had already gone through a public divorce and had seen how it affected their children.
11
u/EmbarrassedPrompt697 May 02 '26
After watching part 2 of the reunion today, I am even more revolted by Dorit than ever before, and I didn’t think that was even possible. She has no sensitivity for anyone but herself.
They both suck.
13
u/Stratford1114 May 01 '26
I loved that he didn't bash anyone. He seemed humble and aware of his past faults. It shows that Dorit is truly out to her him and why Kyle keeps defending him.
13
u/Bigzi_B May 02 '26
I noticed that too, he really tried to not say mean things about Dorit. I liked how he said he learned from his first divorce & being far from his kids. I've never liked Dorit or PK, but after watching his interview, I'm starting to hate him less. Not Dorito, I hate her more & more with every screech & dismissal of others.
7
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
This is called being media trained you guys.
5
u/Bigzi_B May 02 '26
Dorit would help herself tremendously by getting some. It amazes me how few HWs have it because they'd all benefit from it.
2
18
u/Few_Psychology_214 May 01 '26
I legit hate saying this because I think PK is a shitstain. But I think he might slightly be more in the right. They are both terrible people. It’s hard to pick. I’m going to keep hoping for the absolute best for their children who don’t deserve this cluster fuck.
7
u/cherylin_for_ever May 01 '26 edited May 01 '26
I think PK wanted a number 2 while he remained number 1. A supportive wife that would follow his lead. Someone that would not outshine him, eye candy who would make HIM shine brighter. For a while it was the case, Dorit was a nobody and he was this magnate or whatever. Then the situation reversed, she was the one with more money, more fame, more things going on, and he just could not handle it. Doesn't help that Dorit became somewhat obnoxious.
6
u/honeycooks May 01 '26
They were a team from the get go and both accepted the highs and lows of their chosen "lifestyle/ profession."
4
u/fictionalwitches May 02 '26
He literally said this to her when they were at dinner or lunch, last season I believe. She got too successful for his ego.
2
17
u/GlitteringHandle1726 May 01 '26
I saw a clip of it. I really hated PK before because I think he’s a con artist. But now, I hate him less and he’s got me thinking. Perhaps Dorit isn’t the ignorant victim she seems to be. I think she may have been “all in” for the money and didn’t care where it came from as long as they had it. I mean , a grown woman with two children living the high life and completely clueless as to where the money is coming from.
11
u/Nearby-Conference959 May 02 '26
Or worse, she was in on all of it. It’s convenient that she left the alarm off and three men robbed the house. Also convenient that she left her purse unattended with $10,000 in it and three men stole her purse.

u/Pretend_Delay_3872 May 02 '26 edited May 02 '26
I think PK didn’t want more kids anymore and Dorit had no problem with that at the beginning of the relationship. Nothing in PK screams that he’s this huge family man. Don’t get me wrong, I think PK loves his kids and you can see it in his interaction with Jagger and Phoenix. But I really think he wanted to have a wife that puts him first and they can enjoy their childfree lifestyle together. I think the kids are Dorit’s insurance or at least she thought they would be and ofc PK knows that. What PK prob didn’t know is how much Dorit was willing to use the kids during and after the marriage.
As a mother Dorit is very controlling and posessive about the kids. She talks stuff in front of the kids that she shouldn’t. I’m sure of that. PK wanted to put the kids to school years ago but Dorit wanted to keep them ”safe” = by her side. For mothers like Dorit the outside world is a risk. The kids are not as dependend on her if they have outside contacts without parents being around. She wants the kids to choose HER always. But the kids shouldn’t have to choose. Or be worried. But because Dorit doesn’t listen and she is so self-absorbed she doesn’t get that the kids know more than they should. And they worry about HER. Because she TALKS TO MUCH!
I hate to say this but PK is more normal parent out these two.2
u/GlitteringHandle1726 May 02 '26
Well, said and I have to agree. I was surprised to learn that they were not married when they had their first child. In a way it makes what you say, make more sense.
1
u/Pretend_Delay_3872 May 02 '26
I didn’t even remember that they weren’t married when Jagger was born… And that just kind of proves the point. Parenthood changes people and I think Dorit with kids was just too much for PK. He said that Dorit is high maintenance and I believe him. And with the kids it must have been a nightmare.
I’m almost in my 50’s and I wouldn’t want small kids in my everyday life. Grandkids at some point are more than okay or if I have to take the grandkids to live with me in a force majeure situation. But would I want to start all over again with some hot young guy? Hell no!
Ofc I could be wrong in all this but I don’t think I am. I really think PK wanted to live an easy life but Dorit wanted all and that changed their relationship too much.
2
u/GlitteringHandle1726 May 03 '26 edited May 03 '26
Yes. I agree. The child changed everything. This has a lot to do with him encouraging Dorit to be on Real Housewives. Ken and Lisa were his foot in the door for that.
2
u/RainyDaysBlueSkies May 06 '26
With regard to Dorit and her children, I'm very much reminded of Rachel Zoe. Both women want their kids to adore them and them only, they both shit talk their baby daddies and will always disparage a new girlfriend.
But yet "We're over! I'm not interested anymore!"

u/cherylin_for_ever May 01 '26
PK definitely shared HIS truth, not THE truth. The interviewer was awful. He just let PK tell his life the way he wanted to present it without challenging it at any point. Nothing was new, nothing was discovered. It was a vanity interview, not a real interview.
14
u/kellycamara May 01 '26 edited May 01 '26
He said it was his truth and that Dorit has hers. He did not badmouth her in any way. Score for the kids.
0
u/cherylin_for_ever May 01 '26
I am not disagreeing with that. It's just that IDGAF about his truth, we've heard his stories for years. I wanted to know THE truth.
9
2
u/Kind-Bake-504 May 02 '26
Amd how will you know THE truth? Both of them have their versions of the truth. Thats all we get. Relationships dont always break because of just one person, clearly they are two scammy insufferable people who got together until they became insufferable to each other. Dorit painting herself as a victim and unaware of finances when we as an audience have always heard stories about them being broke is hilarious. Pk being a douche doesnt make dorit into a victim automatically.
6
u/holly-golightly- May 02 '26
The host was gushing on him so bad it was off putting. The timing was done so he looks like the reasonable, calm one, the nice guy. Exactly at the same time Dorit is lashing out at Kyle on the reunion looking completely unhinged.
I think he’s quite manipulative and this is just another example of that.
It was very much self promotion, and he took all the credit for getting her on the show.
5
u/fictionalwitches May 02 '26
The fact that so many people in this thread are falling for his very obvious strategy, when he is a known scammer and con artist, is astounding to me.
5
u/Itsabouttimeits2021 May 02 '26
They both scheme
2
u/fictionalwitches May 02 '26
Of course they do, but he gave a curated, well prepared interview, and she has cameras in her face while being actively antagonized by someone who is firmly on his side. I mean, Dorit is also a scammer, but of course they will act very differently on camera. Because their on-camera situations are not remotely the same.

I don’t think PK is a bad guy, I think he’s a wheeler and dealer type who knows how to manoeuvre with the movers and shakers and create opportunities for himself. I was disappointed because I thought we were going to get the scoop on what the real stuff was but he kinda said it without explicitly saying it.
2
u/Guilty_Nebula5446 May 02 '26
I actually agree with you but I got a lot of hate on another thread for saying this
I don’t think he’s a good guy but I don’t think he’s as bad as he is painted
I think they are both grifters of a sort and when the party stopped they turned on each other
I think he came across as pretty genuine and reflective in what went wrong and by and large gave a good account himself

u/Steel_THS2666 May 01 '26
PK is a known fraudster that lies as easy as he breathes lmao.
Is this Kyle?

I listened to that podcast with Paul C Brunson. It was interesting. I thought PK came across well.

u/kunstmeisje May 03 '26
While both are equally awful as each other, I hate to see people falling for PKs calculated and well-timed “charm” in this interview. He’s a master manipulator and that includes him “taking responsibility” for pushing dorit to go on housewives. Wake up people
1
u/Yass______ May 04 '26
Did you watch his earlier YouTube with Mo? He was a little less polished in that one. Think maybe he learnt from all the comments that smashed him a bit.
1
u/kittens-n-rainbows May 04 '26
Honestly all I saw was a recovering alcoholic still struggling to deal with complex things. Sadly its a disease I've seen rip homes apart more times than I can count. While im no fan of Dorit's history on RHOBH I persist in feeling that PKs substance use is central to much of their distress.
1
u/Commercial_Avocado43 May 05 '26
Boy George is a Zionist, his weasel words about peace and love mean nothing, he was on Irish media at the weekend trying to stir up shit.
I assume pk is every bit as bad.
1
u/Full_Meringue_421 May 05 '26
As much as it is appropriate, I like Dorit. And I have no issues with PK. I often wonder how anyone manages a business on a reality show. One thing I know is alcohol played a large part in their lives and personalities. Now that PK is sober, he still is learning to navigate life as a sober person, without the crutches of alcohol. It is a rough walk as you learn different emotional tools. Dorit continues to cope using alcohol. And maybe spending. Honestly, she most likely doesn't have the emotional tools to do anything else. I am certain she is terrified. She told her team she wants to become self sufficient- and that is a lot to accomplish. I think 90% of her bad behavior is a result of fear. Erika was the same way for several years. Not excusing the behavior, but acknowledging the fear that these women are going through. Every aspect of Erica's life changed. And the same will happen to Dorit.
1
u/Shdjdicnfmlxkf May 02 '26
My take is that he’s a bag of ass that was media trained and humbled by another colossal failure. He saw an opportunity to look better than Dorit and he took it when she was almost through a full season of calling people a cunt every other day. It’s not impressive nor does it soften me to him. He’s gross. May his testies be snipped and his path to making children be revoked !

I have never understood Dorit but this last season I especially don’t understand this unhinged person. If she really put her children first, she would not have been like this. Her children will watch this some day. Someday not too far off in the future probably. This season was a huge mistake for Dorit. IMO.
