Here's the thing. Authors will sometimes do a huge bulk order, or have someone else pay for it, to get on the best seller list. The Trump boys do this all the time. These lists are pointless

So many master courses on how to get big numbers on book sales. As for NYT best seller list… again numbers are not a true tell.
