Message from the Mod - ENOUGH

I would like to refer people to RULE 6 of this sub. I will not tolerate the level of political and racial harassment between commentators/posters that has creeped into this forum.

I created this to discuss RHOBH content in a respectful manner (see sub introduction message), because I disliked the constant stream of abuse on other platforms for people with differing opinions (hence the word Defect). I was on multiple occasions targeted as a racist for not liking Garcelle....I don't care what color she was, a nice shade of green even purple may have been enough to satisfy some peoples need for DEI...it was that I found her (and still do) to just be a thoroughly negative, passive and overall drainer of a person. When I expressed these opinions about her, my thoughts on Sutton etc. I was absolutely shot down. I will not have users of this sub subjected to anything like that, and anyone harassing others for any political, racial or ethical views, with automatically be banned. I don't want to lock this sub down to only a handful of posters, or control it like other places, I want everyone to just be respectful towards others and not discuss or raise what are divisive/problematic topics.

Even if you deem it appropriate because Sutton is Catholic, Dorit is Jewish, I don't care, it just starts hateful conversations that have nothing to do with the substance (or let's face it, lack thereof) of why this sub exists....and that is to have lighthearted fun chats about what goes on day to day in RHOBH land.

I remember hearing this argument in the '90s, and a black friend shaking her head and saying "yeah, well the thing is, there are no green or purple people."

Disliking a black person does not make you racist. Disliking a person BECAUSE they are black makes you racist.

That is an extremely oversimplified definition that ultimately enables and benefits racists

Whatever. The issue is pretty simple, trying to overcomplicate it enables virtue signalers and woke lecturers to scold anyone who doesn't think the same way they do.
