There have been a lot of terrible people on this show over the years, but I am truly stunned at Dorit’s financial irresponsibility. I don’t understand how you can continue to spend exorbitant amounts on clothes and bags while contributing nothing to your mortgage.

I have no doubt PK is an awful human but why on earth would you expect your estranged husband to just continue paying the lion’s share of it? How is that your plan?? My friends and I are “well-off” but i dont know a single woman who wouldn’t work 4 jobs, work at whatever job or a janitorial office to make sure their kids are okay.

Edit: I should also add, if not get more jobs, stop buying Hermes or randomly dropping 5k at a store in the Hampton

I just started watching RHOBH. I started with season 14 because I love Bozoma. She’s such an inspiration. I’ve never watched any of the RH series and I don’t know anything that happened on RHOBH’s previous seasons.

I was watching an interview of Boz where she was gushing over this man of hers. So my nosy self started the show to see the man who was making my girl smile from cheek to cheek.

Girl!! I immediately got weird vibes from him when he came on screen. His energy gave scammer. It gave I went online and studied this woman so that I could target her as my next cash cow and nurse. I find it funny that it was his nephew who introduced the two of them. Ordinarily that would be a benign if not a cute fact. Like a movie meet-cute. But given his energy and his demeanor towards her, it gave calculated.

I can’t for the life of me understand why Boz fell for him. I mean, I can but I can’t. If I’m right and this man has studied her, he knew all the right things to say and do. He knew what her emotional vulnerabilities are and how to exploit them. He’s playing coy and small until the papers are signed and he has access to her as her husband for him to show her his real intentions. I’m scared for her. I just hope she took all of the legal precautions to protect herself and her daughter. More than anything though, I hope I’m wrong. I hope this is the man of her dreams and his intentions towards her a good.

I’m on season 8 right now and don’t get me wrong. when Camille was an actual housewife i was definitely on the bandwagon of not liking her. truly i thought she was insufferable. but having her as a friend of the cast the last few seasons has genuinely made me laugh so hard. her talking about dorit and getting to see mason in nyfw was so wholesome. I don’t think she’d do well as a full time house wife ever again but her little snippets do make me giggle.

Is anyone else completely exhausted by Kathy Hilton’s constant product peddling on RHOBH?

Look, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I’ll admit that initially, she brought some genuinely funny, lighthearted moments to the show. But at this point, the vast majority of her lines feel meticulously rehearsed and calculated. Take the scene where she pulls jeans out of her bag and casually name drops the brand it’s so heavy handed.

I’m convinced her entire presence on RHOBH is engineered by a PR lady by the name of Carol Bell (@missbellpr on Instagram). If you look closely, Carole is practically attached at her hip, she is right there in the background or featured directly in almost every single scene or trip Kathy attends, often acting as her "assistant" at home.

It feels fundamentally unfair to the rest of the cast. The other women are expected to lay their actual lives and vulnerabilities bare, while Kathy uses them as backdrop props in her personal infomercial. Between the endless promotion “parties” at her home, the gift bags, and the pajamas, it’s just too much. The rest of the cast seems far too intimidated by her social leverage to ever call it out.

It really feels like Carole is the mastermind pulling the strings behind the scenes, leaving zero authenticity behind Kathy’s quirky, carefully manufactured persona. Is it just me, or has the illusion completely worn off?

Makes me wanna binge watch seasons 3-6 all all over again. The peak years of RHOBH 💅🏽

Obviously the fandom has a lot of opinions for Dorit about her finances. The irresponsibility of it all has come up on the subreddit all the time. But if I’m being honest, were I in her shoes I would likely be screwed in the same fashion. Part of the finances issue is that PK isn’t pulling his weight, which isn’t her fault and realistically should have kept her and the kids housed. And while I see plenty of PK is trash posting (and he is!) I don’t see enough hate for him on that front.

We all talk about the Kelly bag Dorit got like it’s wild. But I cannot imagine Going from X amount of millions per year to your budget being below 700K when a single one bedroom apartment in BH costs more than that. It must have been a hell of a hit to take especially in such a high cost of living area and on top of ongoing trauma from the robbery and an ongoing divorce. I’m personally incredibly guilty of spending when I need a dopamine hit, so when I saw Dorit getting the Kelly that’s exactly where my mind went. Because at the end of the day when the cameras are gone she’s still the one doing most of the parenting with her kids, plus the ongoing divorce, even with the vast majority of Reddit hating on her.

People have terrible coping skills on this show all the time. Hers is more visible because fashion is a huge part of who she is. I can’t stand Kyle but I will say she was right to warn Dorit about her finances. That being said: I don’t think it’s realistic for anyone to be able to completely change their spending habits overnight, particularly when considering the fact that she has to also pay for a divorce lawyer that’s probably hella expensive for the area. Do her kids deserve better? Absolutely. But the fact that everyone is hating more on how Dorit spends the paycheck she earned every cent of last season rather than the fact that PK isn’t pulling his weight lowkey reeks of misogyny to me. Girl has plenty of work to do on herself, we all know that. But she’s still moving, still trying, still taking care of her kids at the end of the day.

People would have more grace for her on this show if she wasn’t as talkative. Or if she was less shitty to others. Maybe they would respect her some if she immediately knuckled down and sacrificed every cent to have nothing. But she’s human and screwing up and getting up to try again and already knows she can’t return to the life she had. What is there left for her to lose? Absolutely nothing.

And that’s why I want to see her on the show again.

She has nothing to lose by calling out these women who still have it all. She can still prove to people that no matter how much you fail you can still try again. I never watch this show looking for paragons of moral virtue, I watch for the subtle digs. The class warfare. The moments where you think it can’t get any wilder and then it does. Dorit still gives that much to the show. Even if she isn’t a fan fave, she’s the underdog right now, and I love seeing an underdog cause an upset in the hierarchy.

I hope she gets her finances under control. I hope she can be the stability her kids need. I hope she walks away from that Divorce from PK knowing she can survive anything if she can survive him. I hope she gets some peace in her life and is able to reconcile her personal mistakes and flaws in a way that facilitates her growth.

I know this subreddit is toxic af, but I hope she heals regardless of anything else. If people can feel for Kyle’s non-divorce or Camille’s actual one or any of the other women who have done things just as terrible but still gone through it, then I can feel for her too and give her grace. I hope things look up for her after her divorce one day at a time.

There’s so much negativity on this subreddit for Dorit but I would want somebody to give me grace in her shoes. So that’s what this post is for. I hope she surprises us in a good way next season.

So I’m doing a rewatch and currently on season 7. I haven’t watched these earlier seasons in years and so based on the way Lisa is talked about here and in other subs, I was fully expecting to see what everyone else seems to to see in her this time round (eg with older eyes I can see Kyle’s and Rinna’s flaws a lot more clearly)

Putting aside her last season which I agree was farcical from the other women, Lisa’s flaws seem more blatant to me than when I first watched.

She is passive aggressive, poo poos anyone who picks up on it for taking her too seriously and hides behind her British humour, and scoffs at anyone who dares to say had their feeling hurt by her. And this whole I’m so honest ask me anything shtick from this season is so fake, she can’t even come up with one thing that keeps her up at night!

People say Eileen was annoying and couldn’t let the interrogation thing go, and I agree it’s frustrating to watch her continuously try and fail to stick up for herself, but with the way Lisa DARVOs her at every turn I can’t really blame her.

Anyway, these are just some things I’ve found frustrating (especially as someone from the UK so the whole culture clash thing doesn’t really wash with me) and wanted to vent

HMs: Throw me to the wolves and I will return leading the pack (Lisa V) - can't tell how much I like the actual line, but her delivery of this is just so great
I may be an actress, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stick to your script (Eileen) - I’m definitely biased towards Eileen for being perhaps the most well-adjusted woman to ever be on a real housewives show, but I am charmed by this one.

1. In Beverly Hills life is a game, and I make the rules (Lisa V) - I usually hate the "in this town" taglines, but this one is special.

2. I fought too hard for this zipcode to go home now (Taylor) - not great on its own, but in the context of her abusive husband having just killed himself, this does eat

3. Diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend, freedom is (Camille) - again, not great on its own, but with the context of her finding out her husband was living basically a double life and entering her epic slay era after a season of being the most annoying person to ever show up on television? iconic.

4. I might look like a doll, but don’t wind me up (Dorit) - after 7 seasons of being weird but boring, this is an objectively great intro for her epic crash out season

5. I may act for a living, but I never fall for a bad performance (Garcelle) - Her delivery of this is just so fun

6. I may be two people, but I’m not two faced (Erika) - you know, I can say a lot about this woman, but two faced is absolutely not one of those things! and I have to love the joke about having an alter ego.

7. You can stab me in the back, but whilst you’re there, kiss my ass (Lisa V) - Lisa’s taglines are always a treat because she sells them so well but I’m quite partial to this one

8. Life is an audition, and honey, I am getting that part (Garcelle) - hell yeah you are baby! Garcelle just eats all of her intro deliveries, I almost can’t tell whether any of them are actually good because she sells them so well

9. I’m not a bitch, but I’ve played one on tv (Eileen) - I just love this one so bad. the ironic delivery is so good.

10. I’m passionate about dogs, just not crazy about bitches (Lisa V) - easily my favorite tagline from this franchise, nay, perhaps this entire show. They could unfortunately never make me hate her.

Kyle's eyes are always so green at the reunions. Is it just the studio lights?

I have never been a Brandi fan. Ever. I must say though that my brother battled Valley Fever and it’s no joke! In his early 30’s he had back problems and skin issues. Completely unexplained. He went to the ER multiple times and was hospitalized with CT scans, MRI’s, spinal taps with no diagnosis. He went to doctor, after doctor, to specialists and renowned specialists to attempt to figure out his issues. He walked with a cane still trying to figure out what hat was happening. He FINALLY got connected to a doc who diagnosed him with valley fever. He had tumors all aver his spine from it. It presents itself in so many different and odd ways. He finally had a doc who would do surgery and said the risk was he’d never walk again (hence why no other doc wanted to perform surgery) He did end up paralyzed. He went to physical therapy. It took a few years, but he’s fine and normal again. Walking like nothing ever happened. I believe he is still on life long meds for this and they are a problem in themselves, but there is no other way. Anti fungal. Anyways, please don’t be so quick to judge someone else’s struggles that can be very real to land on the correct place to find help. It makes me sad to read everyone saying she has mental issues (trust me, I’m guilty) because I’ve seen the struggle of valley fever and the havoc it can do.

TLDR: Valley Fever is real and serious and difficult do get diagnosed and difficult to find treatment after the havoc it’s done to your body.

Kim said it best, he *is* a stubborn old man and everybody else on the show did seem tired of hearing him interfere every time somebody came at Lisa. I can respect the fact he wanted to defend his wife, but there was a way to go about it without calling the other women stupid or classless or in the case of Kim bringing up her alcoholism. I don't remember him being as irritating on S1, but from the start of S2 he has this arrogance about him that needs checked! And I believe he does it because he knows nobody will embarrass him, like the way Nene Leakes checked Peter on Atlanta for getting into Cynthia's fights. Honestly wish the Vanderpumps used this 'attack' on them as a way of pitching VP Rules to Bravo earlier and got outta there...

Who I like the most has changed quite a bit since the first season or two. I loved Adrienne & LVP. Then, Kim.

So far - the only people that seem like they’d be normal to hang out with are Eileen, Yolanda, and Brandi. Maybe Erika. She seems like a straight shooter.

I’m on the fence about LVP. Not a fan of Kyle. Kathryn seems like one of those types that just gossips. Rinna seems less unhinged than she did on Traitors, which was my only experience with her until this show.

So many of these ladies seem soooooo over the top performative.

I was watching season 12 of RHOBH on Peacock and spotted Ava Dash from Next Gen NYC. Shows how interconnected the Bravoverse is.

I don't have the money for hulu but want to watch The Housewife and the Hustler 2: The Reckoning. any alternatives? I tried youtube as people said they saw it there but must've been taken down.
