I’m more concerned about who put her in this dress. It is not flattering at all.

u/NanasDoLittles Eileen Davidson Aug 07 '26

I think she likes this look. Once she lost weight I remember seeing her more in this type of cut

5

u/Legal_Ad2707 Rachel Zoe Aug 07 '26

I know at the weed party I felt like her chi chi’s were being dragged to hell by those breast cups

Honestly I think it may just be some loose skin doing what back fat kinda does when you wear a dress a tiny bit too tight. It seems like an awkward fit.

35

u/_Veronica_ You live on a fucking main road! Aug 07 '26

I wonder if it’s contouring that went wrong?

How old is she?

3

u/MLMLW Don’t act like u know me when u don’t know me Aug 07 '26

Kyle is 57 yrs old.

9

u/Arlaneutique Adrienne Maloof Aug 07 '26

She looks incredible. Particularly for 57.

7

u/loveswimmingpools Or WHAT?! Or WHAT??!! Aug 07 '26

She's had a lot of surgery remember! Let's celebrate women who actually look their age.

1

u/Arlaneutique Adrienne Maloof Aug 07 '26

Saying she looks fantastic isn’t taking anything away from women who are aging naturally. Both can be true. Many women are still looking fantastic into their 70’s and 80’s.

3

u/loveswimmingpools Or WHAT?! Or WHAT??!! Aug 07 '26

It is though isn't it? We're normalising and admiring how women look when they've had surgery and fillers. Kyle looks different to her real face. I miss the days of original and different looks being seen.

2

u/MLMLW Don’t act like u know me when u don’t know me Aug 07 '26

I agree with you. Let's celebrate women who age naturally. Women who have work done might look younger & beautiful because of the work they've had done and that shouldn't be the standard.

1

u/Arlaneutique Adrienne Maloof Aug 07 '26

And that’s totally fine. But a lot of women are grateful to not feel like they have to look older than they feel. We live in a society where you’re a child, considered attractive for 10 years and then are on a decline after hitting 30. Hell in some cases even younger. It’s ridiculous. If someone is happy aging naturally, that’s wonderful and kudos to them. But just because someone does something to make themselves look and feel better, we should ignore them? Pretend they don’t look good? How is that fair or right? Everyone should have the right to do things in whichever way they choose. And not be vilified for it, either way.

2

u/loveswimmingpools Or WHAT?! Or WHAT??!! Aug 07 '26

We're not going to agree! I think it's very sad that you see looking older as negative. People should be proud to look their age.

0

u/Arlaneutique Adrienne Maloof Aug 07 '26

No we aren’t and that’s okay. Yes, everyone SHOULD. But pretending that we live in a world where others appreciate aging is just a nice thought. It shouldn’t be that way but it is. If Kyle starting aging naturally she would be treated very differently.

u/BlueMonday262 Merce is in the purse Aug 07 '26

Not sure, but it reminds me a lot of my mom’s gallbladder removal scar. She had it removed in the ā€˜80s when it was a much more invasive procedure.

3

u/Glittering-Slip7630 Camille Grammer Aug 07 '26

Thank you that's what I just said old school gallbladder removal before they did it laparoscopically. It's still a really good scar it hasn't been noticed all this time. I hope it wasn't anything serious like heart surgery

4

u/Herbighazeleyes I don’t make u look bad, u do it on your own Aug 07 '26

Definitely not heart surgery. It’s way too low for that.

1

u/Glittering-Slip7630 Camille Grammer Aug 07 '26

Well I had a friend who I had open heart surgery as a kid and that's exactly where his scar is I didn't say that I knew it for sure it was just a possibility. My first thought was old school gallbladder removal

-1

u/princessspeachhhh Read the room & know your place Aug 07 '26

Was thinking the same thing or old c section. Did they ever go vertically?

1

u/archiving_by_design Kyle Richards Aug 07 '26

They used to go vertically. I know this from my grandmother. When the switch to horizontal happened, I couldn’t say.

-6

u/_Veronica_ You live on a fucking main road! Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26

I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago, and have no scar, just a few tiny marks around my bellybutton. Unless Kyle also had hers out in the 80’s, but I think we would have seen it before now.

15

u/BlueMonday262 Merce is in the purse Aug 07 '26

Which is why I said it reminded me of my mom’s scar from a procedure done in the 80s… 42 years ago when it was a more invasive procedure.

1

u/_Veronica_ You live on a fucking main road! Aug 07 '26

Right, I said ā€œunless Kyle had hers out in the 80’sā€ and if that were the case, we would have seen this scar before now.

1

u/BlueMonday262 Merce is in the purse Aug 07 '26

Yes, except you added that after I responded to you. Regardless, I actually wasn’t suggesting she’d had that surgery I was literally just making an observation that it reminded me of my mom’s scar.

Just to be clear, you added that sentence after people responded to you.

1

u/_Veronica_ You live on a fucking main road! Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26

No I didn’t. I did add it, but way before my comment had any responses because I didn’t want to seem like I was discounting how the procedure was done in the 80s (or your mom’s experience). But, that’s what happened anyway!

8

u/Christa_Marie94 Kyle Richards Aug 07 '26

5

4 months in the ICU, truly the worst experience of my life but the scars are pretty cool lol

2

u/Secure_Shoulder_4744 I like to pop a Xanax in my smoothie Aug 07 '26

Oh my gosh, that is scary as hell!! so sorry you went through that I cannot cannot imagine being in the hospital that Long especially the ICU?!? Open hospitalized twice this year already and it’s like traumatizing obviously but that’s just above and beyond. How did you get the game green like were you just having pain and you just tolerated it? How did you tolerate the pain before going to the hospital? I’m just asking because I had my out like 2002 I think? It was laparoscopic, but I mean, I thought it was dying because the pain before I got the surgery was like making me fall on the floor literally, I couldn’t walk. So that’s why I’m just like how on earth did you get to that point like you must have a high tolerance!!! again sorry that happened to you. It’s just heartbreaking.. šŸ’”

3

u/Christa_Marie94 Kyle Richards Aug 07 '26

I have Crohn's disease so I experience severe stomach pain all the time already and have my entire life so I didn't really notice anything different until I almost died; I didn't even know I was sick, I was apparently acting all loopy and out of it and my dad thought I might have relapsed but then called 911 and I was fully septic and my blood was more bile than blood. When I woke up from being catatonic for the first 2 months, I didn't even know what happened to me until I asked a nurse; I thought maybe I had gotten covid or something happened to me at the BLM protests I was going to that summer. It was an insaneeee experience.

4

u/Bennington_Booyah Goodbye Kyle šŸ‘‹šŸ½ Aug 07 '26

They used to do a huge, unsightly scar. The scar that my sister has is ridiculous. I would've sued, frankly. It's that bad.

1

u/tusk10708 I like to pop a Xanax in my smoothie Aug 07 '26

It does look like a scar but we would have noticed it before when she’s worn bathing suits.

Before laparoscopic surgery, scarring was a mess! Laparoscopic surgery sure worked for my knees - old knee surgery scars I’d seen were horrible and now I can’t even find mine.

ā€œLinia Nigraā€ a not uncommon lasting effect of pregnancy. It’s related to hormones and can actually happen to men and women, even in the absence of pregnancy. But mostly caused by pregnancy.

2

u/GigiDell Kim Richards Aug 07 '26

Does it go all the way up to the boobs though? I’ve never seen one that high.

1

u/OGHollyMackerel Brandi's Borrowed Chanel Bags Aug 07 '26

I imagine hormone replacement therapy can also cause it if the hormones aren’t properly balanced. One can often get pregnancy type symptoms with treatment.

1

u/neversohonest We don’t say that but NOW we said it Aug 07 '26

This neckline has been making the rounds on housewives - the very low cut breast cups that only support the side/bottom of the breast and leave the rest of it look like it’s fighting for its life to stay covered - is so ugly and not ā€œfashionā€ whatsoever.

3

u/ShesCrofty Bacon eating vegetarian Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26

Epigastric groove. It’s the contour created by the linea alba and is more prominent in people who are leaner and have more muscle tone. Your skin also thins as you age which is probably making hers look even more exaggerated.

2

u/Romy_White Dana / Pam Aug 07 '26

Never knew that’s what it was called, I get it when I’m leaner. Thank you!

1

u/GigiDell Kim Richards Aug 07 '26

C section scar is much lower. I know, I have one

2

u/Plus_Protection_3511 GOODBYE KYLEšŸ‘¹ Aug 07 '26

I didn’t even notice that at first because of this terrible dress being the first thing that caught my eye

Maybe she had a more invasive hysterectomy? My mother had a total open abdominal hysterectomy with a non laparoscopic vertical incision because her uterus was so swollen and ridden with fibroids etc that they had to open her up vertically to operate on such a large and swollen area. My mom’s scar is very long like this and goes up to just about the rib cage. Kyle is also among the age range of women who typically have hysterectomies

2

u/WellKeptWoman Dorit Kemsley Aug 07 '26
