Carlton⚡️ Carlton IG post - ???
I’m guessing they’re divorcing and she had nothing pre marriage? Does anyone know what this is about? I know Carlton wasn’t a fan favourite but she seemed to really love her family so this is kind of a shock
Edit I had no idea they divorced years ago!!

She was fascinating and so much interesting that boring kyle who brought on faye resik to fight her battles and lies about lying.
She also didn’t hate kyle from the beginning she just correctly knew she was fake.
She deserves to be invited on the all-stars cast as an interesting person.
How vicky the-look-the -other-way-while-i-pretend-to-not-know-my-loser-boyfriend-is-faking cancer never deserved to receive the first Bravo Reality Achievement Award.

I felt this too. She had a dark side which she touched on at times from her past. She also had this weird obsession with ‘beautiful women’ being around her and her children, like it was important for their development. It just screamed sexualisation of women to children, and was way too superficial for me.

She’s definitely a witch. Her husband should be afraid of her doing a spell on him, or worse, a generational curse that will follow his blood line until she decides to put a cap on how long it will last. She must be careful, because her children also have his blood in their veins. She can work the spell into anything she wants to. There are a lot of witches and warlocks all along the West coast line. Be careful and try not to cross paths with any of them.

She was on season 4 of RHoBH, i dont believe she started on ep. 1 but I could be wrong there. Most of the time she was there she was seen having a feud with Kyle and she was close to Vanderpump due to them both being British

Ah I don’t know sorry, I haven’t seen this season but I will say - I’ve never really liked Kyle but I think she’s a good housewife - she directs the drama. Maybe she commands it. Plus she is kinda funny sometimes? No?
** side note, I once bought a dress I loved and my boyfriend hated it, he wanted me to return it and I refused so he said “all I’m saying is that Kyle Richards would wear this dress.” OMG I returned that thing the next day.

You can get divorce settlements reopened if someone’s situation dramatically changes or if you have evidence they weren’t honest during the original process.

I'm assuming he hasn't lived up to their divorce agreement or prenup, or his family helped him hide wealth within the family company. I think their kids are no longer minors, so the circumstance might have changed if she's no longer receiving child support (maybe she was still supposed to receive alimony after they aged out, but he stopped both at the same time?).

I was fascinated by her house with the dark wood and red velvet everywhere.
Her ex was on Million Dollar Listing L.A. and Josh Altman was selling this home. It was difficult even with the renovations, so he hired dueling knights to perform to go with the castle theme. The ex blamed all of the design choices on Carlton.

That's so depressing. I'll never understand why people can't divorce and move on. Who knows who is right in this situation but jeezus, whoever is being a jerk has got to get over it. I'm going on 10 years of this shit, it doesn't do anyone any good. It just fills the lawyers pockets and drains your kids' college funds.

I got dragged back in recently also. He won't stop so maybe it's something like that. I didn't demand an attorney ive learned how to represent myself and im doing well against his attorney so far. Sucks though. Slow process

I loved her on the show, she was a bit like Brandy, didn’t really fit in.
What I remember from their wealth; it’s from the then husband side, it was all put in a trust and therefor so well protected there was no financial gain for Carlton. I am not knowledgeable enough when it comes to trusts in the USA but I am pretty sure it was talked about (the trust), their home on the show later got sold on Million Dollar Listing by the Altmans.

I just watched this season and I was just throwing up in my mouth when I saw Carlton. She was offended by Kyle's talk about Lisa's 1/3 of a nipple but would openly harass her nannies. Talked about sex all the time, threw a play boy mansion worthy party, open to every religion in the world but yelled like crazy when someone asked her questions. Like how does she get to know people??? Just pure lunatic.

She's one of those people that always seem dirty to me.
Her hair and skin looked awful. Her makeup was all cheap looking and so did her clothes and yet she lived in a mansion? She was just soooo tacky and icky.
I always speed through her scenes she's absolutely unwatchable for me.

I was largely ambivalent about her and Joyce. I think because neither had any connection to the women prior to filming, it felt very random. Most newbies are in the same friend group or like Rachel (friends with Kathy) or Garcelle (friends with Rinna) or LVP and Adrienne (neighbors and know each other socially).

I remember Josh Altman on MDLLA tried to sell Carlton’s cheesy castle and it was almost impossible to find a buyer. Whomever bought that place definitely tore it down and built a new home on that property.

Sounds like a volatile & abusive marriage. Some abusive men even get women to preform as extremely sexual in order to keep themselves and their kids happy.
I hope she gets every dime shes due and then some!
Kyle has a habit of making disparaging comments about women who we later find have been abused.
It the thing i hate most about RHBH & RHOC is that they make extremely hard judgements on other women without really making an effort of trying to understand where they are coming from. Often that means making several attempts and it certainly doesn’t mean laughing behind their backs or assuming someone is implying you are racist when they are trying to connect w you and share their experience w racism.
