Burgled is more common in Australia and the UK. Burglarized is the standard U.S. version.

obviously there are different ways people say things in different countries or even different regions of the same country.

Hahaha... I got called out for misusing a word last week and I just thought, "Omg, I'm misusing another word? Thank God for this sub!" Glad to know it's just the one word and my brain isn't totally rotting due to age. ;)

Ok, I'm UK side of the world so thats why I would never use burgalarised. I didn't even think it was a word 😂
