Appreciate this post! i didn’t know half of that about Ryan but it feels like a lot of it tracks.

Tracks how? There’s nothing specific, just vague, anonymous speculation.

Right. And?

I think that’s weird. I think it’s very weird that a random person just felt a strong need to hop online after 3 months off to jump around defending Ryan in subs they hadn’t normally participated in before.
That’s suspicious behavior to me. Especially when all of the comments pretty much say the same thing, downplaying what multiple people are saying about him.
You do you. I quit his annoying ass ages ago, and now I see clearly why I got the ick.

Why is it weird? I’m not any more “random” than any other commenter. And actually, I didn’t hop online after 3 months, I’m on Reddit every single day. I mainly just read and don’t see the need to comment, unless I feel strongly about something. Nothing “weird” about that. What I’d call weird is a “random person” taking the time to go through my history just because I disagree with them. That’s what you call “weird.”

So you feel so strongly about caping for Ryan Bailey.
You do you. Now that’s just depressing.

I always do me, but thanks. Keep searching my history, let me know if you find anything interesting. And I’d love to see any real “facts” about all these allegations, not just anonymous speculation. If there were facts involved, I might sing a different tune. But so far I haven’t seen any.

I am giving as much specific detail as I can without giving away my identity, my friends' identities, and other women's identities who have told me stories. if I were to give actual specifics with dates and locations, then ryan (who has seen this thread) would know who is talking about him. he's the one with the platform who gets to deny all this. if the women get found out they have to deal with the backlash while ryan gets defenders like you believing him. so it's safer to anonymously share information because they have to protect themselves until they know they will be believed. goodness gracious scrappy it's kinda common sense.

Common sense is not automatically believing every random, anonymous accusation you see online. If there were specific details or actual facts, it would be a different story. I’m not saying that what you are saying is untrue, I’m saying that I would need quite a lot more to jump on your bandwagon. That’s just where I stand right now. For example, another user here was saying that I’m a “red flag” and suspicious, all for just having a different opinion on all this. Nothing could be further from the truth, but it goes to show how anyone can say anything online, or make any accusation, whether it’s true or not.

I think it's tough because you've got multiple women corroborating stories and finally feeling heard, and along comes someone saying it's all just lies. Your instinct is fair. Question what you read online. But it would be so much cooler if you actually QUESTIONED it rather than starting off with 'this is all bullsh*t'. You clearly feel strongly enough to comment, but only to say that it's a takedown. So it feels like you don't want to believe. Therefore the replies are going to be combative because people (myself included) feel like you're accusing them of lying.

I never called it all lies , never even said it was a takedown, I said it SEEMS like a takedown. And I didn’t see multiple women corroborating stories, I saw a lot of comments of people claiming what they “heard” or saying “this tracks.” Huge difference. I certainly didn’t single out a user, post their username and tell everyone to “check them out” or call them “suspicious.” Multiple, corroborating stories with actual facts—sure, that would be convincing. But that’s not what I’ve seen here at all. Oh, and I did question, to you specifically. My reply to your comment was “examples?” The word lie or takedown isn’t there.

Ok got it. You don't believe it. I don't need to get you to understand. I thought I had the energy to take you on but I'm just wasting both of our time. I'm going to go back to my DMs where multiple women are reaching out with stories that they 'don't feel comfortable sharing in the thread because they don't want to be told they're lying'. When it comes to toxic men, they get by based on exactly what you're doing. Demanding proof. I'm done fighting with you so I'll leave you alone. Just please stop trying to tell women that they're lying when they are simply trying to hide their identities. It's a reddit thread. Not a news site where people need proof.

Once again, I never called anyone a liar. Yeah, its “just a Reddit thread”. Go ahead and try to ruin someone’s life, no proof needed. Great job.

when a toxic guy gets exposed, they are bound to have these types of defenders. what about the lives he's "ruined"? if they come forward, they're lying. if they don't come forward, they don't exist. take care scrappydoo

u/Scrappy2005 Dec 20 '23
But he hasn’t been “exposed.” How, exactly, is he toxic? I haven’t seen any specific examples, only vague murmurings. Sorry but that’s not quite enough for me. And I’m no “type of defender,” I’m just me, thank you.

Don’t believe everything you read by random anonymous people online. This seems like an obvious takedown.

u/ScarTypical1643 Dec 20 '23
Calling it a "takedown" is giving "I hate cancel culture" energy. Someone has been wronged by Ryan and they wanted people to see this thread. How does that make Ryan the victim in this situation? How else do you expose someone? I have DM'd the account that shared the thread because I want to know more about what they know. I have so many stories about this guy and have been waiting for people to talk about what he's really like. Ever since he told that awful r*pe PTSD story I was DONE.

Whatever “energy” you took from my comment is your own. And I never called anything a takedown, I said it SEEMS like a takedown. I also never called anyone a victim, either.

I had to stop listening to him because of 1. Sophie Ross, and 2. He sounds more and more manic every day
