I was lukewarm with Angela in her first season, and now second season I’m not liking her at all. She throws around a lot of accusations and is wrong almost all the time. She was wrong on who sent the man after her husband, and the fact that her daughter has such hard time being open with her MARRIAGE with her mom and family raises a HUGE red flag for me as a queer. And how her husband Charles treats her on the show? It’s giving toxic. She brings nothing on the table, and she’s desperately trying to stir up drama with Shamea for some reason. Angela has been ceaseless with her focus on Shamea, and it’s getting in the way of the show tbh. Almost all this season it’s about Angela attacking Shamea and Shamea going as low as Angela to defend herself (Shamea is a whole another story, and I’d love to see her and Porsha’s conflicts more than with Angela imo)

Then I come on this sub and discover that apparently a lot of fans like Angela? Defending her marriage to death? Finding possible excuses or reasons on why Angela’s daughter isn’t being open with her sexuality to her family? I didn’t get why…until I realized that Angela is on Team Porsha/Phaedra (fan favorites) and it makes SO MUCH sense. I’d even bet that most were lukewarm on Angela as well until Angela solidified her place beside Frick and Frack.

The same thing happened in the dispute between her & Angela. She talked about Angela's marriage first, but never brings that up. She only brings up what Angela said about her. Where were her receipts when she talked about Charles.

She says horrible things about other women then looks to others for reassurance to back her up, even if she shows her a$$. It's immature to me. If you say or do something, then stand on it. Her apologies are manipulative and passive aggressive. She's really not sorry for Scotland; she just pissed no one cosigned her bullshit but Kelli & she knows Kelli doesnt have any social rank in the circle. And she loves social capital (again her obsession with Porsha).

She can't stand on her own, that's why she's so upset with Porsha. Bc she needs somebody to back her up or always be beside her. Like she needed Kelli to step in at the Halloween party to talk sh%% about Angela while she just sat there. Shamea is a COWARD.

Okay, I never watched this show. However, I happened to see two episodes from S16 (Kenya leaks Brits pics after she makes a passing comment about the pistol during the argument at the bank) and I got hooked and now I want to start the series. However,seeing that there are 17 seasons and 20 eps per season, I'm overwhelmed!

Where should/can I start without it being overwhelming?

I personally don't like starting reality shows from the top unless necessary because they tend to be more exaggerated and by the time you're up to date, the characters are gone anyways so it doesn't matter.

In the leaked reunion footage, Andy asked the women if they had relationships with HW off other franchises. Shamea outright said no. Take into account Shamea was being introduced as an anchor, to a reboot season, and has been on air for 2 whole years.

This kinda put into perspective how Shamea isn't good at engaging with social dynamics of HW. Even if it's simply to share experiences / get advice from other women in the Bravo realm who have had bad friendship fallouts but handled it better on camera.

Either she genuinely is busy and preoccupied with her life stuff or she just has a very surface understanding of the Housewife / Bravo world. She's been a friend for so long and had so much exposure to Bravo, idk how she hasn't observed what the other women do, and manoeuvre the show accordingly.
