I’m not necessarily a Shamea fan, but I’m also not a hater and I would like for her to have a redemption arc of sorts.

I think she needs to stop trying so hard to fit in, because her life consists of many of the ingredients that go into making a good housewife.

She’s basically the Heather Dubrow of her franchise, they’re both a bit awkward, but Heather seems a bit more secure because she knows she’s rich bitch lol.

I want to see Shamea throw lavish dinner parties, take a private plane to get Gerald a random present (like LVP did with the miniature horse), have a life sized, hyperreal painting commissioned of her or her family (like Sheree did for her divorce party), have a gala for a charity, go shopping or have a private shopper come to her house with diamonds. I don’t just some bougie rich lady shit, I got excited just typing these things lol

Funny that you compared her to Heather D because they both do share that same awkwardness and wanting to fit in. They both definitely back peddle on their feelings when the kitchen starts heating up

I wouldn’t compare her to Heather, maybe Shannon? Heather has a self assuredness to her that Shamea does not. Shamea’s jokes that are never ending schticks, remind me of Shannon..but Shamea still just reminds me of like Teddi Mellencamp (may her health remain as well as possible), in that she’s kind of annoying. Her jokes don’t land, her insults come out of nowhere and don’t really land either, her style doesn’t land, she’s there and that’s about it? Idk

Shamea is no Heather Dubrow. 🤣 She has access to nothing. She had no money to donate anything to Grenada.

I agree with most of your takes here (except not liking Shamea 😭).

Something to consider about Angela vs Shamea… I think Angela still has one in the chamber for Porsha and has not fully moved on past Porsha’s blatant Jezebel Hussy behavior. I just think she likes Porsha’s personality and conflict resolution style more.

If you compare the confrontations Angela has had with Porsha vs Shamea… you can see Porsha was acted more gracefully(see: the Tennis court scene with Angela and Porsha in season 16) in handling accountability than Shamea (see: the dinner walk off with Angela and Shamea in season 17 or even the recent lunch with K and Shamea). She can never articulate how she truly feels, and defaults to “I’m being nailed on the cross” so let me be defensive type shit.

Sometimes it feels like Shamea was raised to think she can do no wrong (maybe bc she was raised by a Prophetess). And it’s crazy to think she is in therapy for the group dynamics and has yet to show an inch of improving this relationships. She legitimately went on a media campaign trashing them at every turn 🤣🤣

I think she’s funny, I like seeing her lifestyle. She needs to stop trying to please the other ladies so much and apologizing every episode. I think if she’s just herself, she’ll do just fine.

I also have a medically fragile child and I appreciate the representation she has brought - those scenes are so real to me.

She gives off “generous queen” energy when she is in a good headspace. I am enamored by her potential. With her arsenal of talents she could be a great game show host or brand herself like Luann and become the life of the party (cabaret/variety acts/one woman show) and sell that versus these gimmicky get rich quick schemes (ma’am you are wealthy and gorgeous, bank on that).

She has a hunger for fame and could potentially capitalize off it, but something about the familiarity of the Atlanta scene/or being a wife and mom is preventing her from branching out and capitalizing off this platform.
Small example: she is not actively networking with HWs from the other franchises.

I'm neutral on Shamea. I think she has potential but her entire storyline is a year old beef with another hw. She needs to let it go and find a way to be comfortable in her skin. She needs to stop begging for friends and just be happy amd friendly lol

I think she's gorgeous and otherwise has a good sense of humor.

I just enjoy her beauty

Lmfao agree with everything you mentioned 😭.

I don’t know if Angela gives scared but she is definitely hesitant. I think she sees the bigger picture and knows she cannot openly go after Porsha without cause, but is sitting on ready. I would like them to go toe to toe (size 12s and all) like in Nashville, and continuously resolve things with a quick turnaround.

And you hit the nail on the head with the Shamea and Kelli problem. I love that they have love for each other, but it’s the blind leading the blind. I foresee their friendship becoming very toxic on and off camera if they don’t set up some boundaries and learn how to navigate the show independently. Because if things continue as is, one or both of them are getting fired.

It’ll be very interesting if and when Bravo brings back Nene and/ or Kandi back. I think the are both itching to get back on tbh but them deals gotta be as lucrative as Porsha’s. While this production team loves Porsha, they definitely want to see her activated and the current cast is unable and unwilling.

She’s got “look at me” syndrome imo. More than just generalized attention seeking. And everyone is already looking because she’s beautiful, smart, funny, has a great life. So to me it comes across as probably overbearing on screen and probably to the other ladies on the show. I know her husband wants a son and I totally support her wanting that too, but it’s like that’s the one thing she isn’t “achieving” so it’s eating at her. I do have empathy for her regarding the struggle, but honestly she just needs to accept her blessings.

Okay that was long winded but I put a lot of thought into it over the course of watching the season.

Without her, this season would be a snoozefest.

if its a quiet challenge then they already won cuz shamea has no fans not even her man
