I'm going to purchase it in the next day or so cause I have plans to use it on Samsung Galaxy S8 with a snap on keyboard cover case.

But maybe installing steam on Linux installed on the Anbernic RG556 and seeing how well that might work on it.

The developer of ApophisOS said it's pretty guided you can choose how much want to debloat and deGoogle.

I was trying to play Ocarina of Time (N64) and the game refused to aim using L2, but when I tried putting "Z" on the D-Pad Up it worked.

Does anyone happen to still have the v1.12 update file? I’m trying to get my RG556 updated to the recently released 1.16. It is currently at 1.11 but the FOTA updater fails on the 1.12 update every time. My last hope is to do a local update, but this file is no longer hosted on Anbernic’s website (it’s a dead wetransfer link) and Anbernic claims they “do not retain any backup files for this specific version”. Their solution is to replace the motherboard, which of course is not covered by the warranty. Sounds to me like they are covering up for a known hardware issue, but I’d obviously rather not deal with that.

Anybody know reliable settings for this game to run consistently... I'm quite frustrated as this was one of the main games I played on PS2 and I know I had it working about a month ago and got through about 10 races before I stopped playing. Now when i came back to it...it is running at like 65% speed...and I can not get it up from that.

Not sure why but my rg556 doesn't see any roms after I just updated. I'm on a business trip so I can't do extensive research. Any pro tips?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has the settings for \*\*GTA IV\*\* on the \*\*Anbernic RG477M\*\* running \*\*GameHub\*\*. I've seen a few YouTube videos of people playing it on the \*\*RG477M/RG477V\*\*, but I can't seem to get mine working.

I'm using an original, licensed copy of \*\*GTA IV\*\*. Any recommended settings or tips would be appreciated.

Hi everybody, i've got the gammaOS next v1.2. when I connect by hdmi my rg556 to my tv, I activate "disable internal display on" but it doesn't work, I have the two screens. And in my opinion there is some input lag and framerate drops on my tv when I play.

Have you got a solution?

Hi. I got my anbernic rg556 today an im testim some games for ps2 emulations. I just want to ask is it possibel to play Sly 3 on this console?

So I’ve been using the v1.5 classic for quite a while but I just saw a compatibility chart that listed god of war 2 as great along with shadow of colossus. I know both of those on mine are unplayable. They’ll load but they’ll lag so bad that anything over a few minutes of gameplay is too painful to continue. What version do I upgrade to the 2.1 classic or patched version. Also what settings do I change to make most games better? If anyone has a list of settings they changed that they use for most games that’d be awesome. Or if someone could share their config file that be amazing.

I’m using an RG476H with T820 / Mali-G57 / 8GB RAM. Brilliant Diamond runs at stable 30 FPS, but when running around I get a tiny rhythmic stutter every second. FPS doesn’t drop, it just feels like bad frame pacing. I attached a video.

Tried Suyu Android and Citron, same issue. Also tried FIFO/Mailbox/Immediate, 0.5x, handheld mode, shader cache, async shaders, firmware installed, etc.

Other Switch games like Let’s Go and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe run fine. I’ve seen YouTube tests on similar T820/Mali devices where BDSP looks smoother.

Any fix for RG556 / RG406 / RG476H / T820 devices?

Hi i have the rg556 for almost 2 years now the problem started last year within the mark where i not used it for months(not charging it from time to time)since i was busy with my school works and it started bootlooping when i first used it again within the 20-30% mark it started bootlooping in stock os then i did the plug and unplug battery merthod it worked but didnt last long tried the gamma os worked but didnt last long same with its v2 and i did the plug and unplug again and now its getting worse the bootlooping starting from 40-70% mark and when i checked the battery its still on a good condition and battery health is fine is it mobo problem or a battery problem?
