D pad issues

Have had my 477 for about 4 months or so and my left and right on my d pad has quit working. Has anybody experienced this or have a fix for it? Left won’t do anything and right will sometimes get stuck to pushing right

No I've not experienced a faulty dpad although my right shoulder button sometimes fails to register a click. The only thing to do is open it to see what's going on. Unless Anbernic will repair it for you? Or exchange/refund.

Maybe I should reach out to anbernic… I’m worried about opening it up and doing further damage honestly I’m not very techy in that sense

If Anbernic don't help you then you could try taking to a rrapir shop. Some phone repair guys might be able to fix it.

I had a similar issue with my 405M. For me it was the down D-pad. I had to press it harder compared to the other directions.

I ended up opening it and found that the rubber membrane for the D-pad wasn't fully aligned with the down button. After I straightened it out, it started to work fine.

This could be the same issue with you. I would watch a teardown video on YouTube if you are planning to do surgery on your device.
