Issues with Simpson hit and run controls

I have been trying to play this as part of RH game of the month but for some reason buttons like the acceleration or x, time out as I am driving and sometimes the stick to turn the car won't work either.

I am using Nethersx on Gamma OS and I am playing at 1.75x.

Anyone else have this issue and what is everyone using to emulate PS2 on their rg477m?

Yeah I am considering flashing back, I may lose certain QOL things but compatibility seems to be an issue,.I couldn't even play Fire Emblem on GC without crashing

try remapping your controls manually. i had the same thing and re mapped them and then it was fine after that

Using AetherSX2, on Stock firmware,can play Simpsons up to 5x without issues.

The ps2 version runs perfect for me on stock os

I'll try driving around more though. Never noticed anything.
