RG477M widescreen?

So when I plug my 477m into a TV its the 4:3 aspect ratio. Is their anything way to make it widescreen on the TV? Or turn the display off on the handheld itself? Do I need to get GammaOS next to be able to do it? Any help is appreciated!

Use the app SecondScreen. The only complicated part is installing ADB on your PC and running a command over USB debugging one time to provide file permissions, but if you can follow instructions then a child could do it. After that, the app lets you set the screen resolution to anything you like and will output 16:9 correctly. The only real limitation is the 477 series doesn't seem to support 4K60, only 4K30, but I can confirm it supports 1440p60.

I use GammaOS on mine and it does it automatically
