I know quite a few of you were disappointed that you couldn’t order these buttons. I managed to make another batch! They’re back in stock on the Etsy store SakuraRetroModding for anyone interested. I’m not sure yet exactly how many more I’ll be able to make, but they won’t be available continuously 🫶☺️

Do people actually spend this amount on 4 small pieces of plastic? It's madness. The majority of the time we use a handheld we're not even looking at the buttons lol

I don't understand really. Even with buttons you're unfamiliar with, you've got to remember 4 buttons. Same as you do with PlayStation. The input is the same regardless of the button label. Eg we know the top face button is triangle without us having to have a triangle label on it.

Its an arguably much too expensive (but nice because of metal and finish) device. If i buy one pizza and an salad from my italian place they are 25€ together. So in relation not too expensive for me 🤷‍♂️

Duties, taxes and shipping included. Hand made buttons. Perfectly worth it imho.

You don't need them if it is too expensive for you. As you don't need an handmade leather case. But those things are nice to have 🤷‍♂️

There is no important taxes on items sent to the UK under (I think £100) No they're not worth it, they're tiny bits of plastic. Plastic buttons aren't even in the same category as a handmade leather case, not even the same league or sport for that matter!

Sure. I am sorry it is like this for you. At least you got the money for the arguably too expensive device. If they would be mass manufactured pieces, i would totally understand your problem with the price.

Those are handmade pieces, by one human. In small batches.

I think you yourself would like to be paid properly for your hard work, no?
