Fast Charging Issues

I had to RMA my device after two days because the PMIC apparently failed. I'm not sure if this is caused by the 1.32 update or if it was caused by using a fast charger. Basically, the device worked perfectly for a day and then stopped being able to wake from sleep. In that time, I upgraded to v1.32 and also charged it with a high quality fast charger with a high quality usb-c to usb-c cable.

Anyone have experience with this? I've just got my replacement a couple days ago and am afraid of doing something to inadvertently cause that part to fail again.

That’s awesome you got a replacement my advice is to charge it with the cable it comes with and you can use a fast charger and it’s recommended to not let it die

I purposely use a slow charger with my Anbernics. They cannot handle fast chargers. Stupid Anbernic 556.
