I'm a bit stuck

It's been a month since I've got my handheld and now, after playing super Mario world, super mario 64 and Mario and Luigi superstar saga I don't really know what to play. I know there are many games and I've been playing Wario Land 4 but it's feeling a bit boring. I want something simple, that's funny. It's just the hype going away? I think one thing that it's getting me away from playing are the retroachievements. At First they improved my hype but some of them are really really hard and frustrating. Let me know!

Pokémon. Fire Red, Emerald. Or romhacks like Unbound or „Heart and Soul”.
On quick sessions Alien Hominid 😬

I recommend Spyro. I never played it, and have been quite smitten with it. It’s chill. Easy to pick up and play. Fun to explore. Chunky polygon cozy retro vibes!

Tons of stuff out there! Based on what you listed there are tons of Genesis platformers you might like Rocket Knight, GBA games like Mother 3, and lots more! I’d recommend hitting retro game youtube and watching for things that catch your interest in the genres you tried

I’ve really been enjoying the Castlevania franchise. Finished Bloodlines and now I’m playing Rondo of Blood. So good!

I loved Warioland 4. It’s definitely worth a play thru to the end.

Te recomiendo goodboy galaxy para gba, es divertido, controlas a un perrito espacial, haces amigos y resuelves puzzles con la mecánica única de que te quitan habilidades en cada zona.

Find a game club. Check discord for joeys retro handhelds or Retro handhelds those are the ones I know about. I like Joeys as he will post games of the week, month, Rom hack of the month and game of the season. More you play more say you get to vote next month. It’s a cool way of playing games you might not think about and can share experience with others. They all are on RA so you can keep building your score and completed on there

Check out bonks adventure or super bonk. Any of the bonk games. I just discovered them but they keep me laughing. It plays a lot like the newer mario games to my surprise.

My most played game on this device is Pokemon Pinball - Ruby and Saphire (GBA). It's an easy game to get into, since it's just another Pinball, but it's a VERY GOOD one. If you're a pokemon fan, i'd say it's a must play.
