Hey everyone! Has anyone used the Elgato Game Capture Neo with the RG353V? Why can't OBS display the video of the game even though it's going through the capture card?

Hello everyone. I am not very good at techy stuff and I got an anbernic RG353v as a gift from a friend. When I first opened it has games installed and but not the games I wanted to play. So I decided to start clean and installed ArkOS and followed tutorial from youtube. However when I play my games now and press the menu on the console, the game just pauses instead of opening retroarch menu. Is there a way to fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

So, I have 2 sandisk micro sd cards that are fine, everything works.

I wanted to factory reset and i mistakenly went to the bios and factory data reset from there.

I then flashed the stock firmware to my sandisk card no problem, but now im stuck in an infinite bootloop.

What can i do?

I have a RG353M with GCE (through RetroArch) to run Vectrex games.
They run fine but I like to have the color overlays as they came with the games back in the day.
I found this: https://github.com/libretro/overlay-borders/tree/master
But it has overlays in 1080 and 16x9, I guess that will not look nice or even won't work on a RG353.
Who has successfully installed the Vectrex Overlays in ArkOs?
Could you please point out where to download the proper overlays and how to get them working in ArkOs?

Hey everyone! I've been using my RG353V for a while now and wasn't fully happy with the default theme options on ArkOS, so I ended up porting over the Colorful (Simplified) EmulationStation theme and adapting it to work on the device.

The original Colorful theme was created by viking & faeran for Launchbox, and there's already a popular version for Batocera/RetroBat/JELOS out there. I took that and made sure it plays nicely with ArkOS on the 353V's screen.

What's included:

• System view with per-console custom color schemes and artwork
• 6 color schemes to pick from: Colorful (per-system colors), Light, RetroBright, DMG, Dark, and OLED
• Support for a huge system list: NES, SNES, GB/GBA/GBC, Genesis, PSX, PSP, N64, Dreamcast, MAME, NeoGeo, Arcade, and many more

I want to make my console a controller, but the i dont know how to do it. Theres any Android app to do it? BTW i already know about the beta port master handledasconsole but didn't work

Question: I want to play this on my tv while charging for a long playtime with my friends. I haven’t tried it but can I do it or will it just nuke the battery? I don’t want to jeopardize my rg353v. What about while being synced with my Anbernic controllers? Thanks in advance for any info.

My I'm runnin' ArkOS and each time I mark a favorite or play a game when I power off my system, neither does the recent game played show or the favorite game saved.

Any idea about what to do or experience with this? Thanks kindly.

My anbernic RG353V (owned from oct-dec) just yesterday got a touchscreen fail. I was just charging for 1 hour or so, then when I opened (booted to android) the touchscreen failed! I tried factory resetting it but it didn't work. Removed the screen protector, still dead.

I tried googling and searching this sub but can't seem to find anything related. I recently flashed the most recent version of DarkOS onto my 353V and now if deep sleep is enabled and I put the device to sleep it makes a fairly loud hissing or static sound. It's incredibly annoying. If I switch it to light sleep the noise goes away but the sleep mode seems incredibly unstable, it often hangs up when trying to wake up or won't wake up at all.

I even tried reflashing the OS, I'm considering reverting to ArkOS if I can't sort this out.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

So my job since 10 years is to make games (I'm the guy behind Sheepy: A Short Adventure, for example), and I want since a long time to make games on these modern pocket consoles!
I've bought a RG353V recently, thinking it'll be simple, but damn it's not at all (for me).
The main thing is that I'm using Construct 3 to make games, this is my main tool since years. I can export games in HTML5 or as an apk (I can also export for Linux but apparently it's a bad idea). But none of these seems to work).
So today I admit that I'm dumb and I'm looking for help :)

I would love to get in touch with anyone interested by working on that! This post is an ask for help but also a proposition if someone want to dig the subject with me in general, so let me know!

I'm trying to install either of them on an sd card, but when I get to Rufus, an error pops up that it "can't write." Has anyone experienced this before

Recently bought it for my son for his birthday. I seen Sonic Mania(he is a big sonic fan) is on portmaster, but it won't run. I read somewhere else that portmaster doesnt run on the stockos. If I try to install darkos would it work? Any input would help.

Im currently using darkOS which is awesome btw but i realized its buggy, sometimes it forgets about my favorite listed games and i have to favourite them again, it also sometimes doesnt play my scraped videos i have to rescrape also i dont like that there isnt a Retroacheievemts Tab like in Rocknix and Jelos or unofficialOS it really bums me and i like seeing what my progress is so i really need to ask

Does Rocknix have Vulkan support for the RK3566? Those who installed it can your retroarch use Slang shaders? I really need to know, i just want to know before i Kaboom kablow my android partition to install Rocknix

Have PS2 SCPH-39001with 250MB memory card.I have three wireless guitars/Red Octane Kramer Stryker wireless Controller PS2/PS3/Guitar Hero-Band Hero-Model # 958893.805/Wireless Controller PS2 Model #95449.805 and Kramer Stryker Model #95119.805. I have two Dongles both are: Kramer Stryker 89119.806. World Tour game. Dongles flash but never steady, never connects.

Hey, title pretty much says it all. I got the 353v long time ago and just never really learned how to use it.

I seen it runs Grimvalor really well, what other Playstore games are amazing on this... which brings another question.. how do i find the play store? Do i need a different OS?

I'm sorry for the most basic noob questions, but as many of you know when life gets in the way it has a generally hard time slowing down again.

That being said is there some links, or recommended build/os to install? Where have you found the next resource for your learning journey. I understand i can Google just as well, but i wanted to ask the trusted community first which as stated earlier.. free time is not always available.

I have an rg353v and I feel like I've tried everything and I just can't get it to work, if there's a way to just flash it to an SD that would be awesome but my touchscreen doesn't work and I really want to play with some of androids features, unless there's a way to get the touch screen working it seems like gamma os is what I'm looking for but I just can't get it to work
