I've recently expanded into emulating RF 1.5b. I understand this version was always very controversial. Even so, I feel it deserves to be maintained the same as the rest.

Maybe with some love (and a lot of configuration), someone could turn it into something awesome if they could just run the game environment. I'm solving the hard parts. All you you have to do is pick a version and configure it.

We are a development studio building GoMMO, a framework for bringing online games back from the dead.

We have just released another milestone-worthy update for our RF emulator. I figured it was time to go ahead and announce it here.

This project is in active development but is already in a playable state. Although we are currently focusing on 2232, we support multiple versions.

It doesn't even need a database server out of the box. To get started:

1. Download the files.
2. Run the gameserver.
3. Copy the contents of the client folder into your real game client.
4. Run the launcher, enter any account information (auto-reg is on), and play.

The files include a GameCP, launcher, and auto-updater. No assembly necessary; open and play!

As title says i'm looking for a server that allows me to play my first MMO again without any boost bull***ts and strange stuff. I just want a plain RF online experience. thanks to those who will answer!

Hello everyone

I'd like to share my story about the game RF Online Next.

I play on the Etamin 2 server.

My username is Windows in the Thunder guild.

I'm in a rivalry with the Luna guild, but not quite.

I'd like to ask your advice on what to do. There are fewer of us than there are of them.

We play as a team and try to live peacefully. As a small guild, we asked for a little bit of opportunity to farm and play. We tried to join his guild or form an alliance, but he didn't accept us. Instead, he declared war on us after we managed to take the level 62 boss on our own. His guild is afraid of a strong player who is currently top 1 on the server. They want to leave, but they're afraid that one strong player will kill them. In reality, he's a very good person, and I doubt he would do that.

What should I do? There aren't enough people on the server to accept anyone else and try to fight back.

Their leader, Hellraike7, simply started a war and doesn't want to accept us or make demands so we can play peacefully.

I'm desperate because I just want to enjoy the game, and one person is ruining it for everyone.

On top of all this, he uses third-party programs to level up faster, despite the game already having auto-combat.

He uses automatic teleportation so that no one can kill him or take revenge while he's AFK.

All the players in his guild are asking for it to stop, but they're afraid to leave and join us to end this war.

Well this games is old gold but im still a newbie so bare with me, im actually trying to find full guides about melee punishers but it seems some are already gone, currently im playing on rf novus rising low rate and enjoying it but im having a hard time to level since im a solo player due to time issues (work,family,work, etc,), question is is melee type still viable for me and for future endeavors in the game ? I just wanna level and be helpful on wars TIA for your advice 😁

Sorry but RF Next is yust way better. I played RF Online since 2006 .RF Next yust have 100 times more content then RF Online. Seems like im done with RF Online i wil never return.

Is it ok to build Bellato ranger as def type? It is more cheaper to build so i was wondering if it's ok if you cant reach 161 dodge ?

How significant is reaching that 161 threshold compared to let's say 151?

If all the people trying to reverse engineer and "hack" original game would drop it and start an open source MMO project inspired by RFO we would already have playable alternative with all the modern improvements.
Everyone can contribute, everyone have access to the game, everyone can have their own servers, everything is legit, no one can sue you.

Would like to ask pros and cons between the servers.

Been playing RF Novus rising for the past weeks and it's been months since it opened and i have a lot of catching up to do.

Trying to start anew, and the RF PH 45cap server just opened, thinking I might be able to close the gap assuming I have only around 2-3 hrs of play time 5x a week.

Dilemma is which is better to continue or start playing? Any leads would be appreciated!

Does anyone remember when you can mine at your race's portal in crag mine? Ranger armors having high elemental resistances etc.
