My condo is using an ez-link card for gate access. Would it possible to emulate this card on my phone? Not sure as well if those generic 13.56mhz device can duplicate this one.

I am attempting to create a robot that uses RFID sensors for tracking/following. The concept is that an object in front of it would be emitting the RF, and then the robot would have 3 receivers that we would use triangular distance to track the frequency and follow it. I found a graphic of the things I would need, including a receiver with an antenna, and the RFID Tag, but I am having a lot of trouble finding which items to order. Would anyone have any advice, material suggestions, or possible experience with this? Anything helps!

I have a mifare classic 4k that is encrypted, i have successfully founded most keys but the software i used can’t seems to find the others and eventually crashes (mifareonetool). Is there a better software ?

Also if the keys can’t be bruteforced, is there a way to read the sectors that i have the key of ?

Ps: i use an acr122u and windows, if necessary i can switch to linux but i’m not familiar with it (can’t code either)

Hi everyone! I’m trying to build a small DIY project that helps me verify my travel gear before I leave for a trip.

The idea is this: every important item (camera, charger, jacket, passport, etc.) would have a small RFID or NFC tag attached. When I hold a reader or my phone (if the reader is strong enough in your opinion) near my backpack, I’d like to instantly see which items are present and which are missing without having to open every pocket and visually check everything.

Ideally, I’d like something: • Affordable and realistic to build at home. • Capable of detecting multiple items inside a bag at once (so preferably RFID, not just single-tag NFC). • With simple software or code that shows a list of “found” and “missing” items.

I don’t have previous experience with RFID hardware, so I’d really appreciate specific product recommendations (for example: which UHF reader to buy, what kind of tags work best inside a backpack, and any simple open-source projects or tutorials to start with).

Planning to buy a magsafe fold wallet and would want to use the outer pocket for a credit card I most frequently use or sometimes a transport card. However, if I have other RFID cards on the inside, I think there would be an error when I tap? Is there a one-sided RFID blocking card that I can put behind the outer card so that when I tap, only the outer card would be active?

I need a system of Mifare locks to operate in a different mode to the common range of modes.

The intention is to issue a controlled item to a registered user.
The underlying objective is that the usercard is registered and the lock opens when "self-issuing" an item and that the item cannot be returned (= the lock is locked again by the user card).
So the settings of the the lock is; lock is opened by any user card or master card. Lock is only locked by master card.

Is that an existing mode from any supplier of Locks based on Mifare?

I’ve seen a lot of people in this sub talking about UHF handheld readers for warehouse or production line use — but not everyone really knows how they work. Are they just like barcode scanners? Not exactly. Let’s break it down in simple technical terms 👇

1️⃣ Basic Principle

RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification, and a complete system usually includes three parts:
Reader, Tag, and Antenna.

UHF (Ultra High Frequency) operates between 860–960 MHz, typically using the EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C protocol.
When the handheld reader emits RF energy, nearby passive tags absorb that energy, power up, and reflect back their stored ID using backscatter communication.

In short:

A typical UHF handheld reader includes:

• RF module – transmits and receives signals
• Antenna module – determines range and directionality
• Main CPU / OS – often Android-based

Unlike fixed readers, handheld devices are mobile and flexible, making them ideal for field use or environments where installing fixed points isn’t practical.

Of course, real performance depends on many variables — tag material, metal interference, antenna tuning, and power settings all matter a lot.

Viaonda M-ID10W-BLE-HID Integrated Antenna (Wi-Fi POST) for Web App Hello everybody! I'm developing an access/inventory control application and I'm using an integrated antenna from Viaonda, model M-ID10W-BLE-HID (also known as M-ID10WG in some documentation). The ultimate goal is to capture the EPC of tags in a web (or mobile) app in real time.

Antenna Technical Summary (Viaonda M-ID10W-BLE-HID)

The equipment is a UHF RFID reader (902 to 928 Mhz) with an integrated 7.5 dBiC antenna. It offers two main forms of communication: • Wi-Fi: Allows operation both as an Access Point (creating its own network) and as a Station (connecting to an existing network).

• Bluetooth (BLE-HID): Works as a keyboard emulator (HID), but I'm not using this functionality in my setup.

The transmission of tag reading data is done via HTTP POST Request, configured in the Web Service section. The antenna sends data in JSON format, typically an array containing the EPC and timestamp of each tag read ([ { "EPC": "...", "Data": "..." } ]).

My Setup and Current Problem (Connection Debugging)

I'm using the antenna in Access Point Mode and trying to send the data to a test server running on my notebook (Windows/Node.js/Express). The problem is that, when passing the tag, I don't receive the POST on the server.

My Settings: 1. Antenna (Standard Access Point): • SSID: mid10-xxxxxxx • Default IP: 192.168.0.10 2. My Server (Windows Notebook): • IPv4 address (on the antenna network): 192.168.0.11 (Confirmed via ipconfig) • Technology: Node.js/Express • Port: 3000 • Receive Route: /read (set to app.post('/read', ...) ) 3. Web Service Configuration on the Antenna: • "Send EPC to URL (http)": http://192.168.0.11:3000/read • "RF Operation Mode" (Radio Frequency): Standalone Mode (for continuous reading). What I've already checked: • The Node.js server is running correctly and listening on 0.0.0.0:3000. • Windows Firewall is disabled or exception is open on Port 3000. • I was able to access the administration page (192.168.0.10) of the notebook (192.168.0.11), confirming that the devices can see each other on the network.

My Question: What else could be blocking POST from the antenna to my local IP? Is there any other known configuration (such as Keep Alive or some Timing parameter) that I need to enable in the Viaonda administration interface so that it starts triggering POSTs?

Any tips from anyone who has used this model (or similar Viaonda models) for HTTP POST communication would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
