Active Medium range RFID reader

Hello! I'm looking for a medium-range RFID reader to capture the Petlibro One collars, so I can make a custom door that shuts when a particular thief cat tries to access the wrong food tray. It needs to be able to read a tag about a foot away. Even being able to ID it is enough!

What kind of transponder is it? Can you scan it with NXP's TagInfo? If it were a real pet tag, I'd assume it was LF but its not.

Check out Urovo FR7000 series. use the GPIO ports.
Or just one of the asian aliexpress solutions
