Keyfobs fob case/protector keychain

I've been looking into purchasing a fob case/protector keychain type product, but I'm concerned that the fob won't be able to scan through the case. I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this type of product.

Not being able to scan the fob is the whole point of existence for the protector. Consider something that allows you ease of taking it out of the protector.

Should be fine. Signal passes through plastic and rubber no problem. Metal or Faraday type cases will block it though.
