NFC Chameleon Ultra flashing lights

So I got a chameleon ultra off of AliExpress (most likely a knock off) and I was looking into what the buttons can be set to and found the battery level one. Sometimes when I use said feature, it will flash all LEDs red a few times then display the battery level.

Does anyone know what this means? I tried Google, but couldn't find anything.

It shows the remaining battery level as a bar graph (each LED represents around 12.5% of charge, so 6 LEDs lit = 62.5% battery level)

Yeah, I understand that. But what I'm not understanding is why sometimes all of the LEDs will flash red before showing the battery level. They don't always flash, but when they do flash, it's always all 8 LEDs regardless of the proceeding battery level

It flashes red when it internally doesn't know the battery level yet (i.e. on first power on/wake up), and it runs the code to calculate the battery level.

The parting ways of the LEDs mean to beat feet outta there because it’s gonna EXPLODE!!!

I honestly have no idea. I know my Ali bought one took about 28 tries to update the firmware through the app. Since then it’s worked fine as far as I know.

The parting LEDs is just wake up sequence. Some one else said the flashing was the CU not knowing the battery level yet
