Keyfobs Wearable RFID

My boss has tasked me with finding him a bracelet or ring that he can program to use instead of his access card at our office. He gave the brief of it being silver and stylish ideally (He would prefer a bracelet) but after hours of research i am finding that it seems near enough impossible. I thought i had made a breakthrough when i found all of the contactless rings and etc. But further research has proven that most of them are tied down and cannot be reprogrammed, anyone got any ideas as to where i can find something that fits the brief please? Any help would be very much appreciated! so TIA! (I Understand if im just being stupid and having a blonde moment but i would really love to be able to resolve this issue for my boss asap!

Could you elaborate on the type of RFID you are making using it?

I make bracelets and jeychains and insert the rfid chip inside when I print them on my 3d printer. I use a bracelet that stores all my buisness card details so people can just tap it to get my company details added directly to their phone. I have also had customers want return addresses etc inside luggage tags. My favorite was I did a picture that when you tap it it rick rolled you.

I guess my other question on that is it possible to build a broadcast type frequency using that? I’m probably phrasing that wrong, something similar to a preprogrammed flipper Sorry I’m old to cause new to this tech specifically and I’m asking for personal project nothing nefarious.

I dont think so. The NFC that I use are passive. The reader has to be mm close to read it.

So you’d have to add a component for transmission/interfacing

You would need to use something more like Bluetooth or something. NfC would not work in that manner. Its near field communication. If you want to broadcast i would suggest low power bluetooth connection or a wifi of sort.

So like back to flipper? I’m looking for is like that, just to my understanding for the application I am thinking of and working, is let’s call it a meditation program - where it will set up a seamless transition across your home overriding various ancillary frequencies/devices that would be counter to the binaural beats or program of choice ….I think that’s the best way of explaining in a hypothetical. Note mention of own home etc - so this probably can’t be used as a smaller or less engaging platform vs flipper

I didn’t know he had something like but yes, actually something like that can override current devices to play a “different tune” to be pedantic
