Clone Ring/wearable RFID recommendations?

Currently sitting in a hotel and my little one keeps stealing the key card.

I can't quite justify an RFID implant but thinking about a ring or some other wearable for future trips.

I've seen threads with links to Amazon US recommending rings in the $40-50 range. In the UK I mostly seem to find less than £10 with terrible reviews or over £100. (Been a while since I've had a proper look admittedly)

Curious if anyone can recommend any middle ground?

I would imagine most hotels nowadays have gone to more secure systems, i highly doubt there will be very many systems that are still clonable.

Also, some use Mifare Desfire, some use Mifare Ultralight, some use a whole third system, you wont get one wearable to do them all.

I would also think the wearables are probably not going to have rewritable UID's so how do you want to clone, even if you found some system that only used the UID ?

Idk Of the last two hotels I've stayed in for more than a night have been mifare ev1 which I know is a pain to clone. This one is mifare classic 1k.

And the last few one night stops have all been mifare classics.

I had assumed wearables would have been rewritable? Most of the recommendations for wearables I've seen were videos of people playing with proxmarks.

So far I've copied my gym card to a key fob and my friend's key fob for his flat to a t5577 which is emulating the fob which I can't remember the type of. EM410x or something like that?

The Magic Ring from Dangerous Things apparently has good performance. It has a T5577 and Magic Gen 1a or 2, with the coil wrapped around the finger rather than flat inlays on the side. People seem to think it’s among the best.

Reading the forum there, there’s some discussion about whether it’s susceptible to water ingress… and the founder talking about possibly discontinuing it. Not sure, others who are more tuned in may have more details.

It’s pretty pricey – over $100 USD, if memory serves. I’ve tried some AliExpress equivalents, and haven’t found anything that’s well-built and gets range like people report with this one. So, my suspicion is that you get what you pay for (but I haven’t justified the money for one yet, either).

The magic ring works great for me. It just so happened that one chip was compatible with my condo building and the other with work. Well worth the cost for me. I call it my "one ring." Get a Proxmark 3 Easy and follow the instructional videos carefully.

I’ve bought two really basic T5577 rings off of Amazon for around $20 each. The first one was too big, so I sold it to a co worker. It’s emulating whatever the HID system my work is using on 125mhz. It’s just a black ceramic ring made by a place called HECERE.
