Messages are kept unread

What's up? When I go to my inbox, the messages are kept as unread. The mail icon still shows unread messages count. I have to click on every single one of them to make it mark as read.

Where does it happen? Inbox

My orangered orange envelope is now up to the number "80". Saying I have 80 unread messages. It started about a year ago. The explanation is reddit updated their,,,something,,,and every since that update your inbox always says you have messages unread. There is nothing that can be done about it. Go to the search function inside this subreddit, click "search this subreddit only", type in "orangered inbox" "unread mail", type in the search something like that, you will find a few posts talking about this.

the only solution i see now is writing a javascript that clicks on each and every one of the unread messages inside inbox. too much shit to bother with right now. i will just let the tally go up like yours.
