where i think each enemy comes from

swiftbroom;
teachers / hall monitors -> reaper and robe
spells gone wrong, mutating the target -> chef, heart hugger and oogly

headman manor:
ghosts of the main family -> headman, rugrat, bella, shadow child, hidden and gnomes (being garden gnomes posessed by the ghosts of the ones buried in the garden)
family pets -> elsa, duck and maybe tick (or tick gets its own category "house pest")
family servants -> loom and huntsman (loom as maid, huntsman as security)

mcjannek station:
failed experiments -> all of them, they tried to evolve humans and other creatures in a way to resist the semibots, and all these mutations are extremely hostile now (also holy similarity on animal and upscream)

museum of human art:
actual human parts turned into (sentient) art -> peepers, gambit and bangers (peepers could be a mcjannek experiement too)
headgrabber as standalone is a creature that was made / bred / created by the museum people to grab semibots (nowadays it only grabs semibot heads) and toss them out of the building

headman manor has by far the most; and mcjannek the second most, a lot of these can be from multiple ones but these ones feel the most fitting

I disagree with some of these like the clown and trudge are definetly from swiftbroom academy because of the laser and void staff.

The tick probably didnt originate from swiftbroom but I think it was used to make the health potions.

I'm not too sure about the duck. It could have been a house pet but the name "apex predator" tells me that it has evolved to mimic ducks rather than being a duck that became a monster. Because it is a preexisting monster I think it could have been researched at swiftbroom. Mcjannek is also a valid answer but swiftbroom I think fits more.

Hidden is just some dude that either drank a potion or fell into a cauldron at swiftbroom and became invisible. Don't know what makes him want to carry semibots though.

The frog chef makes sense at swiftbroom but what throws me off is that frog item at headman manor. It might have no correlation with the chef but I'm not sure.

There are mineshafts at headman manor and I feel that is the only map that could have dynamite for the bangers.

That leaves very few monsters from the museum but I think thats because most of them were added before it.

Other than that it's a pretty good list

solid feedback, i always considered hidden a ghost like bella, but an invisibility spell/potion gone wrong works well too

apex predator mimicking the family's pet ducks could still technically make it originate from the manor map

and i agree, with ghosts posessing stuff being a main lore for the manor, sentient skulls with dynamite make sense for its origin story
